Coming from the "Look What the Mouse Dragged In" department, Lockergnomie Deann Smith shows us how to sprinkle more stuff on our Desktops. You can easily detach a toolbar (including the 'Quick Launch' bar) from your Taskbar and make it a floating object. Consider doing this if your Taskbar is constantly crammed full of programs. To show you how it's done, grab the handle on the left side of the Quick Launch bar and drag it to the middle of your Desktop (then let go). BIMP! A nice, configurable window filled with some shortcuts. Remember, to create a new toolbar, right-click on your Taskbar, select 'Toolbars,' then 'New Toolbar.' No need to show an ID for these bars.
