My first attempt
at providing content on the web was with a simple MIDI homepage; I featured
a new song every week, and it played in the background. However, not everyone
likes to listen to MIDI while they're visiting a web page. If audio controls
are not to be found on any given "playing" page, you can simply hit your browser's
stop button to cease the music. I'd suggest waiting for the page to completely
load before doing this. In IE5, you can minimize the window and the music will
be paused. Spiffy!
