Safari Icon   About the Beta program and sending feedback

Safari makes it easy to browse web pages. You can quickly search for web pages using Google. Safari lets you bookmark web pages, of course, but you'll discover new ways to organize them. Safari also includes bookmarks in your Address Book and imports your favorites from Microsoft Internet Explorer.

This is an early, or "beta," release of Safari. As you use it, you may experience problems. By reporting these problems, you can contribute to making Safari a better program.

To learn more about the Safari Beta program, visit the Safari website.

To send feedback about Safari, click the bug button in the Address bar or choose Report Bugs to Apple from the Safari menu.

The dialog includes the address of the web page open in the active window. If the problem occurred with a different page, enter the address for that page.

Type a description of the problem and what you were doing when it occurred in the text box.

To send a screen shot or the source of the current page, click More Options and select what you want to send. You can also choose a category for the problem.

When your report is ready, click Submit.

Safari sends an email message to Apple with the information you have specified. If you selected to send a screen shot, Safari takes a screen shot of the active Safari window only and sends it with the message.

Safari does not include any personal information, such as your email address, in the message and you will not receive a reply.
