Fruity phaser
Fruity phaser is a FruityLoops-exclusive VST plugin, based on SupaPhaser, a plugin developed by Smart Electron:x.
Range: depends on "frequency range". If the freq. range is large, this will change the frequecy
between 0 and 10Hz. If the range is small, it will change the frequency between 0 and 2Hz.
Sweep Frequency
Set's the frequency of the LFO which controls the phaser.
Min and max depth Range: 0 to 1 (which is 0 depth to full depth)
This controls the range of the phaser action.
The phaser will be swept between these values...
Frequency range
See Sweep Frequency...
Stereo
Use this control to widen the stereo image.
If it's set to 0, the LFO on the left and right channel will be in perfect sync.
If it's set to maximum, there will be a phase difference of 180 degrees between the left and right LFO.
This means that -when set to max- the left channel will reach it's maximum when the right channel is at minimum.
Trying it out yourself will make it much more clear ;)
Stages Range: 3 to 23
Stages controls the number of phasing stages.
Old stompbox phasers mostly had 4 or 6 stages, but this digital equivalent can have much more!
As the number of stages rises, the effect becomes more aggressive and more pronounced...
Feedback Range: 0 to 0.99
Determines how much of the signal is fed back into the phaser...
When set to max, the feedback will allmost drown the audio, creating a whining effect.
Dry-Wet Range: 0 to 100 %
Set's the mixture of effected and non-effected sound.
Out-gain Range: -inf (silent) to 6dB
Set's the additional gain for the signal at the output of the effect.
Use this parameter to boost silent signals.
