2.     I can not record anything using my microphone

  1. Please make sure the microphone is connected correctly. It should be connected to the microphone jacket of your sound card. Please contact your supplier to make sure this is possible.
  2. Make sure the volume is set high enough to record sound. You can check this by double-clicking the volume icon in the system tray in the right corner of your screen. Next select Properties from the menu. Click the option Record. Are the appropriate settings selected to record sound?
  3. Use the sound recorder to record a sound fragment with the microphone of your E-mail inChorus. Stop the recording and play the fragment you just recorded. If this sound is ok, it should also work with the program E-mail inChorus.
