Editing Samples Individually

MySoundStudio lets you edit samples of the sound individually. A sample is the smallest unit of sound data.

When you zoom in the wave form several times, the points comprising the wave form become visible. Each point represents one sample.

If you place the mouse on one of these points (one sample), the mouse pointer changes its shape as shown below, indicating that you can drag it up and down to change the amplitude of the sound at that position.
The amplitude at current position is displayed at the left of the Track Controls.

You can also change the amplitude numerically by double-clicking a sample and enter the value in the Set Value dialog box that appears.
The value you enter in this dialog box is measured in the unit specified in the Ruler Units dialog box.
