Framework Selection

A framework defines where the menus of your web site will be placed.

Also, settings for the header at the top of each page and the navigation bar at the bottom of each page can be defined with this tab.

    • enable or disable the editable header bar. The header bar is displayed at every page of your site. Push 'Change...' to enter edit mode where you can modify the header content with the editor.
  • enable or disable generation of a navigation bar. If enabled, press 'Settings' to adjust text and font.

Choosing a Framework

Select a framework. At right hand a preview shows the structure of the currently selected framework.

You can select a new framework at any time. Each framework differs in the following way:

  • Each menu group can be set to be horizontal or vertical.
  • A menu group represents one or two layers of your site's menu structure:
    • One layer menu groups are simple menus linking to the next menu group.
    • Two layers menu groups consist of menu items with submenu items.

Menu groups are:

  • H - a horizontal menu at the top of the page content with one menu layer
  • H2 -  a horizontal menu at the top of the page content with two menu layers
  • V - a vertical menu to the left of the page content with one menu layer
  • V2 - a vertical menu to the left of the page content with two menu layers

Sample (for Enersoft SiteGenWiz Freeware Edition):

Site structure is Main page with subnode Earth with subnode Asia sith subnode India:

Framework H-V2 shows Earth in a horizontal menu bar at top and (when Earth is selected) Asia in a vertical menu bar to the left and (when Asia is selected) India in the same menu as a sub menu entry.
