Adjust the sky
You can create a unique sky by changing the clouds and atmosphere. First, you'll modify the type of clouds displayed in the scene. Then you'll adjust the amount of haze to add perspective.
To modify the clouds
- On the Sky & fog palette, click the Sky & fog options triangle.
- From the list, click to deselect Cumulus clouds.
To adjust the sky
- On the Sky & fog palette, click the Haze thumbnail, and drag to the right to increase the Haze value to 17.
When you drag over the Haze thumbnail, the Haze value appears in the Text display area.
- Click the Render button to view the effect on your work.
Notice how the increased Haze value has separated the two mountains, appearing to push the rear terrain further into the distance.
