Table Of Contents If your product iKeeper file is unlocked, and you wish to secure it with a password in Mac OS X, click the password button [see image below]. You will then be prompted to enter a password for your file*. When your file is locked the password button will change to reflect the status [see second image below]. Once a password is entered, iKeeper will remember it for as long as the file remains open. In this way it will be able to save any changes you make to the file without having to ask for the password each time. If your product iKeeper file is locked, and you wish to remove the password protection, click the password button [see image below] to have iKeeper unlock your file and remove the password. Once the process is complete the password button will change to reflect the status [see image above].
* WARNING: Your file will be encrypted. You will only be able to open it in iKeeper 2.2 or later running on Mac OS X. If you forget your password, your data will be lost forever. | ||
