This tutorial will show you how create a slide show that you can share with others by including the slide show player. This tutorial uses the images located in the Samples/Travel album. To print this tutorial, click the Print button on the help window.
The tasks you will perform in this tutorial are:
Selecting the album that contains the images for the slide show.
Rotating an image.
Associating a soundtrack with the album.
Selecting slide show options.
Saving the slide show.
Viewing the Slide Show.
On the Browse tab, navigate to the samples album located in C:\Program Files\Jasc Software Inc\Paint Shop Photo Album\ Samples\ Travel.
Notice that the image of the bird needs to be rotated. Let's rotate the image so it displays vertically on screen. Select the image of the bird, and then click the down-arrow on the Rotate button and choose Rotate Right.
Click a blue area in the Album View window to de-select the image you just rotated.
To associate a soundtrack with the album, choose Audio > Album Soundtrack > Choose to open the Choose Album Soundtrack dialog.
From the Look in drop-down list, choose C:\Program Files\Jasc Software Inc\Paint Shop Photo Album\ Music \Piano Blues 1, and then click the Open button to display the Choose Album Soundtrack dialog.
Click the OK button to associate the soundtrack with the album.
To create the slide show choose Share > Save Slide Show to open the Save Slide Show dialog.
Choose a folder to save the slide show in. In this example, we are saving to C:\My Documents\Slide Show.
Make sure the following options are marked on the Save Slide Show dialog:
Include Album Soundtrack
Include Slide Show Player
AutoRun on CDs
Click the OK button to save the slide show to the folder you selected in step 8.
To play the slide show, navigate to the folder where you saved the slide show, and double-click the Player.exe file.
The slide show opens in the Slide Show player.
