Fixing Images Using the Adjust Wizard

Use the Adjust Wizard tool to correct the color balance, exposure, vividness, and sharpness of an image.

About the Adjust Wizard window

When you open the Adjust Wizard window, three previews of the image display. The left preview displays the image with less of the correction, the original displays in the center, and the image with more correction displays on the right.

For each correction, decide which preview looks the best, and then proceed to the next step. At any time you can use the buttons to pre­view, apply and change the view of the image previews.

To use the Adjust Wizard:

  1. On the Browse tab, click the album to display thumbnail views of the images in the album in the Album View window.

  2. In the Album View window, double-click an image to open it in the Image View window.

  3. Choose Image > Adjust Wizard, or click the down-arrow on the Adjust button and choose Adjust Wizard to open the Adjust Wiz­ard window.

  4. Step 1 Color of the correction adjusts the color balance of the image. Click the Select button for the image preview that looks the best. The wizard automatically advances to the next step.

  5. Step 2 Exposure of the correction adjusts the exposure of the image. Click the Select button for the image preview that looks the best. The wizard automatically advances to the next step.

  6. Step 3 Vividness of the correction adjusts the vividness of the image. Click the Select button for the image preview that looks the best. The wizard automatically advances to the next step.

  7. Step 4 Sharpness of the correction adjusts the sharpness of the image. Click the Select button for the image preview that looks the best to display a preview of the original image and the new image.

  8. Click the Done button to apply the adjustments and close the Interactive Quick Fix dialog.
