Filters editor

Magic Mail Monitor supports mail filters to help you automatically visually sort messages. Filters are applied in order their appear in filters list. You can individually enable/disable filters.

Friends list

You can create friends list of senders, which messages will not be processed by any filters. Edit friends list by choosing File>Friends menu item. Friends list is located in friendlst.txt and will be created automatically after first time accessing mentioned menu item.

Use filters automatically

If this option is set, selected filters will be applied to each new message received. Otherwise you can manually invoke filters by selecting »Apply filters» command from File menu.

Name

Filter name. In future this name maybe visible as filter, applied to message

Mailbox

You can configure filter to work on one selected mail box only, or for all mailboxes (»*»)

Filter field

Subject, From, To, CC, Header, Size – identifies which field will current filter check. See also Date filter.

Filter condition

This option control when filter should be applied. Possible values:

All text comparisons are case insensitive.

Filter text

Specify text for comparison. To check against text file, use $filename syntax, ex: $blacklst.txt.

Text file for check should have one control string on each line.
