userfdformat - low level format floppys
SYNOPSIS
userfdformat
device
DESCRIPTION
This manual describes the
userfdformat
command.
Userfdformat
allow normal user to low level format disks.
When invocated,
userfdformat
checks if the device given is a floppy (it checks that his name start
with /dev/fd[01], that the user has rights to write it, and that is a
special block device with the right major number) and then exec()s as
superuser the fdformat call.
