Mcdonald's prides itself on being a family restaurant, where you can bring your family, and get an affordable meal.Yeah this might be true for some families, but what about the ones who have a mother or father working in one of thier restaurants. Most of Mcdonald's employees(mostly franchises)
pay thier employees at rate rates that a well below poverty, without any benefits. These people show thier dedication to these restaurants
day in and day out with no recognition. These employees work there for years with no raises, but are still pushed to exceed their own
limitations, to serve their customers. Some franchisees have no regard for the safety and well being of thier employees, all they are worried about more profit
and to keep thier costs down, even if it means less people scheduled for high volume hours just keep labor costs down(even when employees get paid barely above
minimum wage). Some mcdonald's even cut costs by limiting cleaning and sanitizing supplies ordered. Some franchises are allright, but most of them are all
run this way, and the corporation lets them get away with it even when it hurts their image.Maybe more people should know how the leading fastfood chain treats their
own people, I should know I dedicated almost seven years of my young life at McDonald's 4 of which as a swing manager and 1 year as an assistant manager.
The only good part to this story is i am no longer thier.I am now with another fast food chain that treats thier employees with respect, and realizes
that people need certain things such as good pay, insurance, and other benefits and ITS NOT MCDONALDS!!!!!!!!!
None.
