MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do not give too much detail.
A. So I went up to Nottingham.

MS. STEEL: Was this at the time of the threatened legal action
against Veggies?
A. No, before.

Q. It was before then?
A. Yes, yes, well before.

Q. Did you go up there to visit Veggies and to speak to them
at the time you were threatening legal action against them?
A. No.

Q. Were you involved with that litigation?
A. Well, I knew it was going on. I mean, I dealt with it
with Barlow Lyde & Gilbert, yes.

Q. Was that under your authorisation?
A. Yes.

Q. So you were at the fayre, the London Greenpeace fayre?
A. Yes.

Q. For ten minutes?
A. About that, yes.

Q. About. Did you go into the main hall and have a look round
there?
A. No.

Q. You did not?
A. No.

Q. Was the only place you went the entrance-way?
A. Yes, yes.

Q. Did you look all round that part or?
A. No, no. Once I saw the Veggies stall I decided not to
go any further. I did not even go to the Veggie store.

Q. You started off on the London Greenpeace stall?
A. Yes, and I just stood and watched people going by. You
had the pamphlet there, there was a...

Q. The leaflet complained of?
A. Yes. You had, I think, about...

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I think you had better say London
Greenpeace. You have made it apparent you do not mean
Ms. Steel, but otherwise there might be a confusion?
A. I could not identify anybody there at that time. You
had a pamphlet there that described all your supporters,
and there was a plan of the hall. There was some more of
your literature, but I could not see that clearly. It had
your logo on the top.

MS. STEEL: On various different subjects?
A. Yes. Well, I did not see them, you know, I did not get
