dietary components but in relation to behaviour and
environmental factors. There is also the question of
psychology. It is such a multifactorial thing, it embraces
a great variety of different scientific disciplines and
other social conditions like psychological state and
stress, and so on. That is a brief summary.

  Q. That is what I asked for. Then, one other thing before I
sit down and the defendants ask you questions, Professor
Naismith. Have you had a chance to look at two short -- I
do not even call them papers -- documents, one is two pages
long, the other 3 pages long, recently supplied by the
defendants. Both emanate from the University of Maryland.
One is by a Dr Vogel and the other by a Dr Miller. Have
       you seen those?
       A. Yes. Yes, I have managed to read these two documents.

  Q. Do you have them with you?
       A. Yes, I have.

  Q. I am going to ask you to comment on them. Which one would
       you like to take first?
       A. The one by Plotnik et al.

  Q. By?
       A. Plotnik et al... Transient impairment--

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I would like to find them first.

  MS. STEEL: Is that it?
       A. No, it is the other one, Plotnik. You have that one?

MR. MORRIS: No, I did not bring it. Do not worry.
       A. Would you like my copy?

MR. MORRIS: No, it is all right.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Just pause a moment.

MR. RAMPTON: There is a spare copy. (Same handed).

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I cannot find mine now.

MR. MORRIS: It should be in the Civil Evidence Act
       statements.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I do want to find it.

MR. RAMPTON: May I suggest blue 1C, section 8, tab 4.

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Second--

MR. RAMPTON: Section 'H' for Harry, tab 4.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. I have put Dr Miller at 4 and
       Professor Vogel at 5.
