Day 125 - 12 May 95 - Page 44

our job right, day in and day out, we think, or time has
shown us that we ought to continue to build our share of
the market. In Cantelupo's case, in his comment, in many
foreign countries we have zero market share. So we are new
to the scene and we are going to try to implement our
system in such a manner that we become a substantial part
of the community, that we have a significant market share.

  Q. Obviously there may have been laughter because you realised
that it is a bit of an impossible task to convince
everybody to eat your food. But that would be your desire,
if you could, to have the entire market?
       A. Well, let me answer it this way. I would say that as
in a case when you go out on the field if you are
participating in athletic contest, baseball, football, you
want to win every game. It is you to win every game. You
are not going to win every game. If you boxer you go out
with the idea that you are going to win every match. Very
rarely are you going to win every match. In the case of a
business you want to go out and win every customer you
can. To do that you do it, you know, one customer at a
time, one hour at a time, one day a time and that takes a
long, long time. Yes, it is impossible to have 100 per
cent of the market. Of course it is. I mean there are
thousands and thousands of businesses located in the
market, and the only thing we try to do is the best we can
to the customers that come in, and hopefully we do well
enough they come back again and tell their friends and
       relatives.

MS. STEEL: I have only got really one more question left, but
I have to find something that I am trying to
       cross-reference -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What we have done so far is when we have
thought you are near the end of your cross-examination we
have chosen to have the break then. Is that what you would
       like to do now?

MS. STEEL: I think that would be helpful. Do you have any
more things to ask, Mr. Morris?

MR. MORRIS: Probably not, but I would like the opportunity to
       check.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Let us have five-minute break. I will ask
Mr. Stiles to come out. If you need a bit longer, tell
       him.

                      (Short Adjournment)

MS. STEEL: I just wanted to confirm something with Mr. Beavers
which we asked Mr. Green about, but he was not 100 per cent
sure. It is on a video.

(A video recording was then shown).

MS. STEEL: My video recording has mangled the video. I will
have to try to get another copy. (To the witness): The
man that was speaking there, Mr. Green said he thought that
