Safety Executive accident prevention advisory unit in
1992. And this is all verified by McDonald's lead witness
from their first Plaintiff, responsible officially for
       bringing the case.

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Who was?

MR. MORRIS: Mr. Beavers. What I am saying, not himself
       personally, but ----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Why say it?

MR. MORRIS: Well, officially he was here as the lead witness
       of the first Plaintiff.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Why go on and say "responsible officially for
       bringing the case"?

MR. MORRIS: When I said officially I meant that ----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I will tell you why I have interrupted you
there. I am faithfully taking down all these references.
Some of them will turn out to be inaccurate, because they
always are, everyone always gets something wrong. I am not
going to make a great thing out of it, but every time you
say something which I know is wrong, it rather shatters my
faith in some of the other things.

MR. MORRIS: I did not express that very well.

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: No.

MR. MORRIS: I did not mean that he personally was responsible
for bringing the case, but officially he came -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I thought it was going to be one of your
points that we do not know even now who was responsible for
       bringing the case.

MR. MORRIS: Nobody will admit responsibility for it.

MR. RAMPTON: Can I intervene. I freely admit that I thought
Mr. Beavers was going to tell your Lordship what were the
reasons why the case was brought from the corporation. It
turned out when he got here that he did not know.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I know. That is the point I am taking with
Mr. Morris. Anyway, carry on, do not be distracted by what
       I say.

MR. MORRIS: What I meant to say was he was here as the person
from the first Plaintiff who would know, who would be
responsible for why the case was brought, but he did not
know. So that is why I said officially. I did not mean to
imply that he had actually brought it himself. But I am
saying that his evidence is given added weight because of
the position that he was given in the case. That is what
       I was trying to say.

The only other few points I have about his evidence is he
