Day 193 - 28 Nov 95 - Page 32
A. Yes. She had told me that when she got the job at
Northern Reflections -- I remember her being very upset
about this -- that Cam had told her he either wanted her
resignation to Northern Reflections or to McDonald's; that
is what she told me.

Q. Yes. You had two jobs, did you not?
A. I did later on. I got my job at Kiddly Winks -- which
is an educational toy and clothing store for kids -- I got
that, I believe it was, August 21st. I had already started
-- like, the first call I got for my interview for that
was during the first union meeting on August 19th.

Q. Were you threatened or intimidated because you had two
jobs?
A. No.

Q. Is it not perfectly normal and natural for young people who
want extra money for clothes and who may be saving up to
pay for their university to have as many jobs or as many
hours as they can get?
A. It is not normal that a student has two jobs; no, it is
not.

Q. And, provided that you did your work at McDonald's properly
and efficiently, there is absolutely no reason why you
should not have a second job, is there?
A. I believe that, yes.

Q. Cam never threatened you because you had two jobs?
A. No.

Q. No. Finally, if you turn to page 23?
A. This is in the Our Times article still?

Q. Yes, the Our Times article still; and in the right-hand
column, the last paragraph but one. I will read the whole
paragraph.

You say: "I guess I met with the lawyers just after
October. I felt good about these guys. They seemed to
know what they were doing. It freaked me out the first day
I went to the Labour Board and saw my employers sitting
across from me. It was a little bit intimidating."

Do you really mean that?
A. Yes, I do. It was very intimidating. About, I would
say, the first half an hour of sitting there, I was very
intimidated.

Q. But you were not going to give evidence, were you?
A. No, I was not.

Q. Then it says: "There were allegations of me locking people
in my car. In my car, the locks do not even work. There
were charges of me intimidating this 300 pound guy."

Two questions about that. Is that the same allegation,
about intimidating a 300 pound guy in a locked car, or is
that a different one?
