Day 010 - 11 Jul 94 - Page 80
1 sitting early so as we can get through Mr. Lipsett before
Professor Duxbury at 10.30?
2
MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do you still have your problem with getting
3 here before half past ten?
4 MR. MORRIS: I cannot because of my son going to school.
5 MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.
A. Can I speak to my presence?
6
MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes?
7 A. I had planned to continue on from here in the travel,
so that to meet my wife in Paris.
8
Q. When are you hoping to do that?
9 A. When this matter is disposed of, so I mean I can
stay. If we can get it done, then that would be
10 preferable. That would be my point.
11 MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, I do not believe it is right to keep
Mr. Lipsett hanging around. One never knows what might
12 happen and then he would not get to Paris perhaps tomorrow
and we would have to wait until the next day. I do not
13 think myself I am going to be more than another 20, 25
minutes with him. So as long there is not a long
14 re-examination, we can do Professor Duxbury in the day and
he can go back to Strathclyde.
15
MR. JUSTICE BELL: So we hope to finish Mr. Lipsett at 11
16 o'clock or soon after in the morning?
17 MR. RAMPTON: I would hope so.
18 MR. JUSTICE BELL: I think if you would be kind enough to come
back in the morning, but by hook or by crook it is
19 expected that you will be away sometime tomorrow some
time, Mr. Lipsett.
20 A. Thank you.
