  Q. These actual statements were, therefore, not written from
       memory; is that right?
       A. No.

  Q. Now, if we can start, please, with the last statement
because I am not going to be asking you very many
questions, Mr. Bishop, but I am going to try and keep it
chronological, if I can. According to this last statement,
number 8D, which was the one you made recently, last month,
       the third paragraph, yes?
       A. Yes.

  Q. You say, "In early May 1990 I was asked by the director of
an inquiry firm which instructed me to attend a
London Greenpeace meeting due to be held at 5 Caledonian
Road on 17th May", and, as we see from reading the rest of
that paragraph, you did actually go to that meeting?
       A. I did.

  Q. Was that the first meeting that you went to?
       A. Yes, it was.

  Q. What was the firm that instructed you, the name of the
       firm?
       A. It was Kings Investigation.

  Q. Kings. If we go then backwards -- I am sorry about this --
in the file to 8B and the last page of 8B, which has a
       paragraph 9 on it.

MS. STEEL: I have not got As, Bs and Cs.

MR. RAMPTON: It is the longer of the two dated 20th May.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I originally marked them Supplementary
Statement which is B, Support Statement which is just two
paragraphs and that is C, and Second Supplementary
       Statement which is D.

  MS. STEEL: Thank you.

MR. RAMPTON: The last page of B consists of one paragraph, does
       it, Mr. Bishop, paragraph 9?
       A. Yes.

  Q. "On 27th September 1990 I attended a meeting of Greenpeace
London", et cetera, "arriving at 7.30. Helen Steel
attended the meeting and then she said that she, Mr. Morris
and Mr. Gravett had been served with writs and were taking
legal advice". Do you know whether you attended any
meeting of London Greenpeace after that date, 27th
       September?
       A. To the best of my recollection, that was my last
       meeting.

  Q. So, we have you there from 17th May 1990 until 27th
September. Do you have a recollection, roughly, how many
meetings you attended? One can count up the ones mentioned
