Day 005 - 04 Jul 94 - Page 38
1 A. I do not remember seeing it before, but, yes, quite
possibly.
2
Q. I am sorry, these documents have not been disclosed yet.
3 We are compiling a bundle.
4 MR. JUSTICE BELL: Give a copy to Mr. Rampton.
5 MR. MORRIS: We have not a spare but you can have a look.
6 MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, that is not satisfactory. I do not know
what they are. I am not being difficult. It is very
7 difficulty to follow a cross-examination if one does not
have the documents.
8
MR. JUSTICE BELL: Let Mr. Rampton see it now.
9
MR. RAMPTON: Is this all one document?
10
MR. MORRIS: Yes, it is one document; a fold over.
11
MR. RAMPTON: It will take me five minutes or so.
12
MR. JUSTICE BELL: You are going to ask-----
13
MR. MORRIS: I am going to ask a specific question.
14
MR. JUSTICE BELL: You are going to ask some questions about
15 this, are you?
16 MR. MORRIS: Yes.
17 MR. JUSTICE BELL: I will adjourn now and that will give time
for photocopies to be prepared. What I suggest is that if
18 you give Mr. Rampton, so that he can read it as soon as he
chooses to, the copy you had just now and use the original
19 to make more photocopies.
20 MR. MORRIS: I have not the original.
21 MR. RAMPTON: We will have them copied over the adjournment.
22 MR. JUSTICE BELL: Are there any other documents you think you
are going to ask a witness to look at today which are not
23 actually in the bundles?
24 MR. MORRIS: There may be, I do not know for sure. Most of the
documents we are referring to are in the bundles, but I am
25 not necessarily calling us to look at them in the
bundles. It can save time if we just -----
26
MR. JUSTICE BELL: Are you prepared to give a copy which you
27 gave, the two sheets you gave Mr. Rampton?
28 MR. MORRIS: Yes, we will copy that. It is not going to be
controversial.
29
MR. JUSTICE BELL: The point is before we start again at 2
30 o'clock you have to have a copy back in Mr. Rampton's
hands so he can read it, do you see?
