MR. MORRIS: So, in fact, it is materially different. I do not
know which one Mr. Atkinson averred to this morning.

MR. RAMPTON: The one I have, my Lord, the one Mr. Morris has.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. That is how mine reads. Can someone
remind me, at the end of today I would like to hand mine
down and I would like Mr. Atkinson to check that it is the
one he read because, like Ms. Steel, I did not follow word
for word. I made odd notes in my notebook as Mr. Atkinson
was reading and, therefore, I did not follow it word for
word.

MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, I am allowed to burrow around here, then
I will do it now.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Are they both signed by Mr. Atkinson with the
date 5th July 1995?

MS. STEEL: Actually, they are both unsigned.

MR. RAMPTON: Mine is unsigned too.

MR. MORRIS: The one we are working on is the unsigned one
because when we said the signed one, the implication was it
was the same as the unsigned one, so we had different
statements before they were finally signed, somehow.

MR. RAMPTON: There is no doubt, my Lord, that the one
Mr. Atkinson, Timothy, read this morning is the one
Mr. Atkinson, James, has signed on 5th July, which is the
one Mr. Morris has. It does not appear to be the one that
Ms. Steel has. I say that because I have -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Is it different to the unsigned copy?

MR. RAMPTON: No, my Lord, because I have the unsigned one which
is ---

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yours is the same.

MR. RAMPTON: -- identical. Mr. Atkinson T's is unsigned as
well. My Lord, I do not know whether your Lordship would
like this now, or whether it is best Ms. Steel has this
now, so she has what Mr. Morris has got now, or whether
your Lordship would say that it might be advisable to have
five minutes or so with Ms. Steel having this one, so that
Mr. Morris and she can run through it to see if there are
any other inconsistencies of that kind because, if there
are not, then it is a small matter and it does not matter.

MR. MORRIS: I would prefer it if the Plaintiffs could do that
task and we could check.

MR. RAMPTON: Then I have to have the one that Ms. Steel has and
I do not want it, thank you very much.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What I suggest is this, if my recollection of
the corridor outside is correct, it has a number of
