Day 099 - 08 Mar 95 - Page 67

       A. Exactly, yes.

MR. MORRIS: I will do it in the order the evidence was given
which is not necessarily the best order, but you said that
in each delivery there is a digital thermometer check?
       A. Yes.

  Q. When was that digital thermometer check brought in?
       A. Are you talking about the check at the restaurant or at
       the distribution centre?

  Q. No, as it arrives -- when I say "store" is that not usually
       referred to as the restaurant?
       A. Yes, it is a bit confusing.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: That is why I asked you.

MR. MORRIS: I always thought they were called "stores". You
have in-store and that kind of stuff.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: However that may be, it leads to the
possibility of confusion if a series of questions starts
off with "storage at Golden West" because if you talk about
a store then it is not clear whether you mean a restaurant
or the storage facilities at Golden West or anywhere else.

MR. MORRIS: I am not going to be referring to Golden West
       hardly at all.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: May I suggest you stick to "restaurant"?

MR. MORRIS: Yes, OK. I am not sure how accurate the word
       "restaurant" is to describe ----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do not worry, just so we do not have the
confusion. It is good enough for me.

MR. MORRIS: So at the restaurant when the truck arrives there
       is a digital thermometer check?
       A. Yes.

  Q. You said it was usually a chicken product that was chosen
       because it is wrapped?
       A. Yes. That is correct.

  Q. So what will happen is when each truck arrives at the
restaurant somebody will go into the truck with a digital
thermometer and choose, generally, a chicken product?
       A. For a frozen delivery, yes.

  Q. Because there are three temperatures?
       A. That is right.

  Q. But one temperature is just not a food product anyway, is
       that is correct?
       A. That is right.

  Q. Or it might include some -- what about the fresh foods,
there are three compartments: the frozen, chilled and,
presumably, room temperature, whatever. The last one, is
