MS. STEEL: I am going to go on with the nutrition thing in a
second, but I would like to mention now, or ask now; when
you gave your ruling about the directions for how long we
had for various things, you said that we should say to you,
basically, if we could not keep up with it.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.

MS. STEEL: As to going on, it is getting increasingly chaotic,
and I had real difficulties this weekend getting through
all the things I wanted to read relating to nutrition and,
in fact, I could not do it. I have done some more work. I
understand that we have got to finish nutrition today, so
anything further I will have to put in writing. But in
terms of advertising, which I had also hoped to get some
work done on, I was not able to get any done at the
weekend. I am not really ready to go on to advertising.
Mr. Morris is not ready to go to employment. We would like
to ask for a day or two of preparation after today before
we go on to the next issue.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What I suggest you do is press on as best you
can, and see where we get to this afternoon. What is your
plan after nutrition as to who goes next on which
subject?

MS. STEEL: I was going to do advertising but that is not
ready, neither is employment and it is probably easier for
me to get advertising ready than it is for Dave to get
employment ready. But if we were to have a day, or two
days, then obviously both of us could spend time working on
each of those issues.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do you have anything to say, Mr. Rampton?

MR. RAMPTON: No, my Lord.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: It seems to me it is a balancing -----

MR. RAMPTON: I am not going to interfere. The Court of Appeal
has said it is entirely a matter for your Lordship.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What occurs to me is that you should press on
as well as you can and as productively as you can today
with nutrition. I am sure you will do your best, but I
will say it anyway, do your best to press on as far as you
can. If at some stage during the day the fact is you have
run dry, I want you to tell me so. In any event, I will
not sit tomorrow.

MS. STEEL: Okay, thank you.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: There we are.

MS. STEEL: Thank you. It is appreciated.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: But I think when we have finished this
afternoon, we will have a short discussion about what
