       be laughing, yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. It will be fun if you go to McDonald's?
       A. Yes.

  Q. It will be fun to go to McDonald's?
       A. That is right.

  MS. STEEL: Carry on.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: If you just pause. When we were on the
balloon, the basket was the shape and design of a fries
       container, was it not?
       A. Yes, it was.

                 (The next advertisement was shown)

MS. STEEL: That was a McDonald's product shown at the end
       there?
       A. They are all McDonald's products, including the toys,
       yes.

  Q. But a food product?
       A. Yes.

  Q. What were the sound effects?
       A. They were children trying to imitate the effects of the
       car.

  Q. Can you play it again?
       A. The IT -- play it again, you can probably hear it.

(The advertisement was shown once more)

MS. STEEL: Did they sound like they were all made by children,
       to you?
       A. They are, in fact. The ruling body for advertising for
children, the BACC, make very strict claims that you cannot
put any sound effect on that could mislead someone to think
it is coming from the vehicle. So, it is okay for them to
do sound effects in, i.e., you know, a child making that
       type of voice.

  Q. That is why I was asking. To me, it did not sound like
they were. Some of them sounded like children, but some of
       them sounded like real noises.
       A. I am sure it would not have been approved if that was
       the case.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do you know, yourself, that they were in fact
all children, or is this just deduction on your part?
       A. I know that when we produce a commercial such as this
we have to do child voices on there making out; we cannot
       use the real sound effects.

MS. STEEL: Do you know whether that is always done, though?
       A. To my knowledge, it is certainly always done, yes.

  Q. I may have asked you before, but how strictly do McDonald's
enforce their own codes of practice on their
