1 wrongly, I thought it was the beef in the bun?
              A. It is if someone came in and said: "I would like to
2 buy a hamburger", they would come away with the sandwich,
              the complete item.
     3
         Q. That is the hamburger?
     4 A. That is a hamburger, yes.

5 Q. Bun and meat inside?
              A. Bun meat, condiments, yes, all. We do not sell raw
6 meat. We do not sell uncooked products. We sell finished
              food -- consumable.
     7
MR. JUSTICE BELL: I understand that. It is not just the beef
8 pattie, it is the complete -----
              A. The complete item.
     9
         Q. It is not what most English people would call a sandwich.
10 In your terminology, that is what it is?
              A. If by "sandwich" you mean a meat product between two
11 pieces of bread, then this is that -- a sandwich.

12 Q. Yes, right. I understand. It is a difference of
terminology, But I think, on one side or other of the
    13 Atlantic.

14 MISS STEEL: But I think you said to Mr. Rampton on Thursday
last week that, so far this country was concerned, you use
15 polystyrene for the clam shells that cover the hamburgers
and for the hot drink cups; is that right?
16 A. We use the polystyrene packaging for our quarter
product or quarter pounder with cheese product; we use it
17 for our chicken, Mac chicken sandwich; we use it in our
hot cups; we use it in -- it is not a clam shell, but it
18 is polystyrene used for one of the breakfast products.

19 Q. The scrambled egg breakfast and Big Breakfast?
              A. Yes, but that is not a clam shell.
    20
         Q. It is not joined?
21 A. It is not joined. The top and the bottom are
separate; the clam shell being the one hinged at the
    22 rear.

23 Q. So when you said last week about your hamburgers being
wrapped in styrofoam, you meant the deluxe versions?
    24 A. The larger sizes.

25 Q. Right. If anyone in court gained the impression that it
was just your hot cups and hamburgers packaged in
26 styrofoam, that was the wrong impression, was it not?
              A. No.
    27
         Q. No?
28 A. Our hamburgers were in clam shell packaging. Our hot
              cups are in expanded polystyrene.
    29
         Q. But there are other items as well, is the point I am
    30 trying to make?
              A. There are two breakfast items but they are not clam
