       of crew.

  Q. What about other Managers?
       A. I would say, typically, there would be, without
actually looking back to individual reports, other Managers
who have worked the day shift and the swing shift.

  Q. So if he did a close he would be running -- if he ran a
shift, well, we have established that he ran a shift, so he
       was the most senior person on when he was running a shift;
       is that correct?
       A. That is not always necessarily the case. As I say,
there may be a swing shift Manager or maybe even, say, a
11.7 Manager or the 2.10 Manager, so he may not necessarily
have been the most senior person on the shift.

  Q. When he did a close ------

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What do you mean by those? Tell me if I am
wrong. I have understood you to mean by swing shift
Manager a Floor Manager; is that right?
       A. No, a swing shift Manager is a Manager who is doing a
swing shift. Typically, they are three shifts -- open
       shift from 6.30 until 4.00; a swing shift -----

  Q. What is a swing shift?
       A. A swing shift is a shift that is in between, so it
       would be 10.6, 11.7, 12.8 or a 2.10.

MR. MORRIS: An in between shift. But when he did the closes he
would be the person in charge, yes?
       A. He would run the shift, yes.

  Q. He had a great deal of responsibilities, did he not?
       A. He was responsible for running the shift, yes.

  Q. Holding the safe, cash depositing, running shifts, fire
       log, things like that?
       A. Cash deposited and holding the safe would be tasks that
could be carried out and would be carried out by a Floor
Manager anyway. Floor Managers are trained and do cash up
and handle large amounts of money.

  Q. He would also have to have access to the Husky computer,
would he not, when he did a close?
       A. He may.

  Q. To close it down, for whatever reason?
       A. Yes, it can be closed down on the following day. I do
not know whether he did have access to the Husky.

  Q. Would that be normal for someone to close the Husky
computer down when they are doing their close?
       A. It would not be normal for a normal salaried Manager,
no, because they would have an access code, but I cannot
comment whether Danny had an access code or not because
       I do not know.

  Q. You do not know if he had a code or not?
       A. No.
