  Q. Would you be prepared to accept that, in fact, they were
       the short A5?
       A. No, I would not be prepared to accept that, because
I do not know at this time.

MR. MORRIS: It says that these leaflets that were printed
mistakenly, the 10,000 copies of the "What's wrong with
McDonald's?" leaflets, were giving them to the group free
of charge. Do you remember them actually ever giving them
       to the group?
       A. I do not recall them being given to the group, no.

MS. STEEL: There is also a reference in these notes to
Paul Gravett bringing up about an anti-McDonald's video as
       well. You confirm that, yes?
       A. Yes, yes, I see that.

  Q. It is produced by a small Oxford film company?
       A. That is what I have here, yes.

  Q. Moving on to 22nd March -- sorry, Mr. Morris might have
       more on the -- yes.

If we look at 22nd March, it is a meeting at
Caledonian Road. It was not until 8.20 that you were able
       to enter the building.

"By 9 o'clock, the following people were present at the
meeting: Paul Gravett, Helen Steel, John, Adrian, Marion,
and one other who I had not seen before."

       You can confirm that, yes?
       A. I can.

  Q. Mr. Gravett brought up about the Oxford video again, and he
-- sorry, the Oxford video about McDonald's -- and he
brought up about the Hackney and Islington Animal Rights
group holding a picket of McDonald's Dalston Junction on
       24th March; yes?
       A. Yes, that is correct.

  Q. On the following page, you say: "Nothing else of relevance
was discussed. We left the building at 10.10 p.m." So,
that was the only interesting reference to McDonald's, or
those were the only interesting references to McDonald's?
       A. They were certainly the only ones I noted, yes.

MS. STEEL: 19th April. There are quite a few questions on this.

MR. MORRIS: Is it possible to break off for a little bit longer
for lunch, so that we can talk to our counsel who is going
to give the -- not our counsel, but the counsel -- just an
       extra 10 minutes, or something?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. I will come back at 10 past two. It
will be an inconvenience to Mr. Pocklington, but unless he
has some pressing reason not to be here this afternoon, I
would like him to be back at 10 past two. It is purely
precautionary, unless anything goes wrong with the
