Day 274 - 04 Jul 96 - Page 14

  Q. I just want to go through a few points in the notes of the
       private investigators.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You are coming back to the other statement
       later are you?

MS. STEEL: I actually was not going to bother with the Sun
Valley one just because I think we have probably had enough
evidence on that anyway. If you could get it down, on the
top shelf on the left hand side there is a kind of bright
blue file. That is the one. If you turn to, it should be,
page 14 of that file, it should be the notes of
Mr. Pocklington for 21st October 1989 about the
       antiMcDonald's fayre at Conway Hall?
       A. Yes.

  Q. You have got them there?
       A. Yes.

  Q. You were at the fayre were you?
       A. Yes.

  Q. On page 15, in the middle paragraph, it says "The majority
of the organisation of the day, and certainly any
announcements, were made by two people, firstly and
       foremostly by the man now identified as Paul Gravett;
secondly, a man aged in his early 20's." Then there is a
description, and then it says "he was referred to
throughout the course of the day as Charlie." Does that
accord with your recollection of who was organising the
       fayre?
       A. Yes. Paul was the main organiser and Charlie Brook was
coordinating the stage, he was involved with the
entertainments as well. Those were the only two that made
announcements, I think, during the day.

  Q. If you can try and keep your voice up, sorry?
       A. Sorry.

  Q. The next one I want to go to is the 8th February 1990. I
have just got to find it. Yes, it should be page 70?
       A. Okay.

  Q. Actually, page 72 is the relevant part. If you read the
part about the BBC, and then will ask you to read
Mr. Pocklington's notes of the same event as well?
       A. On page 70?

  Q. 72?
       A. 71.

  Q. Is it 71?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: It is the second page with an asterisk
       against it.
       A. Okay.

MS. STEEL: If you also read the account which appears on -- my
page might be out on this as well. Page 76, I think.
