2 also, obviously, found out what has been known for years,
3 that if one feeds too much fish meal, for example, to pigs
4 you will get fish taint. Also if you feed rape to pigs in
5 excess you will get fish taint. We are looking at all such
6 things all the time.

8 Q. What about in terms of rearing, the different methods of
9 rearing?
10 A. In what context? I can give an example, yes, quite
11 easily. We compare outdoor reared pigs in comparison to
12 the indoor reared pig. Unfortunately, the outdoor reared
13 pig actually eats a bit tougher.

15 Q. Does it have a lower fat content?
16 A. What, the outdoor reared pig?

19 A. No, he has more fat.

22 A. Yes, that goes against what everyone thinks.

26 A. Yes, you have the out fat and you have the
27 intramuscular fat. The outdoor pig, we have had to
28 introduce a breed to the outdoor pig to put some
29 intramuscular fat in to him to try make him eat better.
