Q. No-one made any complaints at the party?
A. No, none whatsoever.

Q. Did you go around asking them whether they thought there
were any problems?
A. No, I basically introduced myself and I said: "If
there are any problem, please do not hesitate to contact
myself or my managers", so basically it was an introductory
meeting.

Q. Who is Tony Jeffs?
A. He was my senior supervisor.

Q. So was he at the store or was he at Head Office or what?
A. He was responsible for, it must have been, around 15,
16 restaurants. So, he moved around in the restaurants and
he also is based at the Head Office.

Q. The memo -- I think it is two pages after the letter that
we have just been looking at -- this was from you to Tony
Jeffs?
A. Yes.

Q. Did you want it sent to Paul Preston and all those other
people as well?
A. Yes, I did send it.

Q. Why did you say that you went around to dish out the
invitations?
A. The areas where Smith Street or Royal Avenue did not
cover, that is where we dish out, and I did go to dish out
myself even to Linda Wells and the Secretary.

Q. So you mean "dish out" in terms of you handed a big bundle
to the Residents Association?
A. And the ones which were not represented, just to go
there -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I thought you said earlier that some streets
where there were not Residents Associations you actually
posted them?
A. Yes, sir.

Q. Yes, so ----
A. But the one where I did find somebody, this I gave it
to them, because I know in Wellington Square there is a
doctor -- I do not remember his name -- it is, I think,
1 Wellington Square, they are the ones which I remember
that I handed it.

Q. But what has been put to you is the bulk of the invitations
were not dished out by you, your managers, or dining area
hostess, but by the Residents Association themselves where
there were associations?
A. No, they were, by my hostesses, I do not know which
houses they went to, because I can only recall that what
they have told me that they went out and they dished out
and they met some people. Myself, personally, I went to
the Royal Avenue, Secretary of Royal Avenue, Linda Wells
