       it.

  Q. The last point from his statement is the fry boxes,
squeezing them to decrease the amount of chips put in.
Mark Davies says that is impossible because the box would
drop as soon as the grip was released -- the fries in the
box would drop as soon as the grip was released. Have you
       got any comment on that?
       A. Yes. I mean, I can remember he went past me and I was
on the fry station, and he did instruct me to squeeze the
boxes, otherwise it would be serving too many chips to the
       customers.

  Q. Did they regain their shape?
       A. They did not, no, not in my experience.

  Q. Just a very quick look at Frank Stanton's statement.
       A. We are talking about cardboard boxes here; they are not
like plastic to regain their shape anyway.

  Q. I will just try to see if there are any -- yes, if you get
the statement of Frank Stanton. It is page 3 of his
       statement.
       A. I have it.

  Q. He says about halfway down the last paragraph, paragraph 6,
about people working 50 hours a week: "This would usually
be Floor Managers such as Simon Gibney rather than ordinary
       crew members".
       A. Yes.

  Q. Do you have any comment about that?
       A. Yes, I think I remember people, especially full-time
people like myself, frequently working those sorts of
       hours.

  Q. It was not restricted to Floor Managers?
       A. No, no, it was not.

  Q. Just one more point from Frank Stanton's statement at the
bottom of paragraph 7: "We attempted to schedule people to
work on a close where one taxi could drop off a number of
people relatively easily". Do you have any comment to make
       of that?
       A. I do not remember any offer of taxies at any point when
I was working at Colchester. There was no mention of the
Company getting a taxi for you at all.

  Q. I think you have dealt with the point at the top of
paragraph 5, saying that you had to do all night closes
every time Frank Stanton visited. You did not say that,
       did you?
       A. Not every time. I think it was initially when he came.

  Q. You said before about late -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: No, I understand what Mr. Alimi said about
       that.

MR. MORRIS: Late night closes, yes. Just a quick look at the
