Day 126 - 17 May 95 - Page 14
is what is the year to which the data relates or the years
to which the data relate?
A. The data which you are holding was conducted in 1992
and 1994, the literal stages. I have been referring to
them ----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Can you keep your voice up?
A. Yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do not talk into the microphone; it does not
magnify. Just speak out loud and clear.
A. I have been referring to them as 1991/92 and 1993/94
because when we do these projects they habitually go across
a year end.

MR. RAMPTON: So far as you are aware, do we now have all the
things that you were asked to produce following your last
appearance in court?
A. As far as I am aware, yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: This Fast-Track attributes, is that part of
that?
A. Can you please describe the one you have?

Q. This is McDonald's Price Sensitivity Research, Stage 2,
Demographics?
A. No, the Fast-Track sheet does not relate to the
demographics sheet.

Q. What is the McDonald's Price Sensitivity Research, Stage 2,
Demographics?
A. That was submitted in response to a request for
information on who the people we spoke to behind the "Who
Eats What?" study which I think we have just numbered 4.
That was something that I spoke about on my previous
appearance. A request came to understand who we spoke to
in order to get those results.

The submission of the Demographics on the Price Sensitivity
study is in response to that. That is, in fact, the
study. That is, in fact, who we spoke to to get the
results from the "Who Eats What?" study that we have just
referred to as No. 4.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Mr. Rampton, if I put a "5" on that?

MR. RAMPTON: Yes. It should probably go with the "Who Eats
What?" analysis.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, it is who you spoke to to get No. 4,
"Who Eats What?" survey. Then what are these, they are
AF6 and 7, what are they actually, Mr. Rampton?

MR. RAMPTON: AF6 and 7, my Lord?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.

MR. RAMPTON: They are really just -- I am not going to tell
your Lordship; it is much better if Mr. Fairgrieve does. I
will get it wrong.
