MR. JUSTICE BELL: You also mentioned water, did you not,
     2 I think?
              A. There is a lot of water needed to operate and wash the
3 amount of dishes that would be required.

4 MR. MORRIS: You said it would take up a large amount of space
which was a significant problem, is that correct?
5 A. It would be an issue that would be contended with,
that in order to get the scale of dishwasher we would
6 need, you would need a unit of a relatively large size.

7 Q. Right. Do you have storage space for packaging?
              A. Less and less. But we do have storage space for
8 packaging and one of the biggest issues in our company is
              space.
     9
         Q. Yes.
10 A. I would say it is probably the No. 1 issue we face in
terms of developing our company. Our restaurants are
11 getting smaller and smaller. We have extreme pressure
from every prospective to minimise the use of space and
12 that carries forth towards packaging. You will be
surprised how little space there is in our restaurant for
    13 storage of packaging materials.

14 MR. JUSTICE BELL: What pressure is there apart from cutting
              costs to reduce space?
15 A. Again I am speaking a little outside my area. My
knowledge of the company is such that for us to expand we
16 no longer can build big restaurants that we perhaps built
10 years ago. So as we get into smaller communities,
17 communities the size of, let us say, 10,000 people, we do
not want a 3,000 square foot restaurant, we want a 2,000
    18 square foot restaurant.

19 MR. MORRIS: But it would cost you a bit extra money if you had
to build an extra hundred square feet or something, 300
    20 square foot?
              A. Sure.
    21
         Q. What size? Can you give an indication maybe in a
22 restaurant of 60 employees, how big a dishwasher, how much
space a dishwasher might take up, say, compared it with
    23 this space over here?
              A. I am not aware. I do not know. I have know the --
24 I have only seen one. I have only been behind the counter
in one sit-down restaurant myself personally. The size of
25 that dishwasher was one and a half times the size of my
              refrigerator at home.
    26
         Q. So say something for McDonald's -----
27 A. Versus my dishwasher is the size of this at home.

28 Q. What I am saying, I am just trying to get an idea, say,
for this press bench there, would that be maybe something,
29 the size of that press bench there, for a McDonald's
              store?
30 A. From my little limited perspective, again I am not an
expert on dishwashing equipment -- I would say that would
