Day 070 - 20 Dec 94 - Page 63

MR. JUSTICE BELL: When you are discussing the schedule for the
first weeks of next term you make this point to those who
represent McDonald's. I will ask Mr. Stiles to leave his
home telephone number in case any communication is
necessary during the vacation. I hope that is not
necessary but I will ask him to come up and give it to you.

MS. STEEL: Can I make one specific request, if Easter is only
officially two weeks, whether that could be extended?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I think we have really got to deal with these
things as they come up. I am disinclined four months in
advance to make any ruling about that.

What I think you should concentrate on is trying to take it
in foreseeable blocks without getting too anxious about the
more distant future, but not hesitate, as I have already
said on a number of occasions this afternoon, to raise what
you want applied to what the schedule for the future
appears to be. I cannot say any more than that. Is there
any other matter?

MR. MORRIS: We have not got any other matters, no.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I wish everyone in court a good Christmas and
a good New Year, away for some time, I hope, from the
shadow of this case.
