Day 152 - 11 Jul 95 - Page 40

Q. Would I be an acceptable member of your workforce?
A. You would be a pretty good member of our workforce.

Q. The person that wants to do that, work four or five hours
one of the weekend days, that would be quite acceptable to
you, would it?
A. Yes.

Q. Can I ask you to look at a document, please, Mr. Davis. It
is in yellow volume X and it is at tab 7 where you will
find a statement made by Lyn Mead in these proceedings, and
behind that statement there are a number of miscellaneous
documents. They have a letter in the top right-hand
corner. Go right past the typed written statement,
Mr. Davis, and you should come to some miscellaneous
documents, the first of which is a Personnel Procedures
Evaluation Report, I hope?
A. Yes, I have that.

Q. If you turn, please, to the last page but one in that
document, which is document A?
A. Yes.

Q. I will ask you about that page in a moment, but can I ask
you this, first?

MS. STEEL: Sorry, we have not managed to find it yet, so could
you hold on.

MR. RAMPTON: When you were Manager at Colchester was one of
these things ever done to you, a First Time Procedures
Evaluation Report?
A. Yes.

Q. By whom?
A. By Frank Stanton when I was the Manager. He said
probably one per quarter, as I remember it.

Q. One per quarter?
A. Yes.

Q. Have you ever done them yourself ----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I am sorry, did you say Personnel Procedure
Evaluation Report?

MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, I did.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Again, that appears at the front of mine. It
does not matter.

MR. RAMPTON: It is the front of mine too.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I thought someone said penultimate page.

MR. RAMPTON: Yes, of this document, my Lord, which I am coming
to in a moment. It is the propenultimate, in fact. Sorry
about that. Have you done them yourself as an Area
Supervisor?
