Day 278 - 11 Jul 96 - Page 20

       A. Of where?

  Q. Of the little bundle of Mcspotlight documents. It is my
fault for not drawing attention to it earlier.
       A. Yes. Yes, it does say 16th February, so that must be
       the date, yes.

  Q. "Come and see the launch on 16th February" it says, does it
not? Would you please turn to the actual copy, or the
reproduction, it is not a photographic reproduction it is a
reproduction of the words of the leaflet complained of in
this case, which is -- I do not know how many?
       A. I have found it. It is okay.

  Q. You have?
       A. Yes.

  Q. It looks like that?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Good. Please notice that the time that the launch was to
take place was 10.30 in the morning, was it not, we
remember that, don't we? 10.30 a.m. Leicester Square.
Please notice in the bottom right hand corner of this
document, given in the American fashion the date is 16th
February 1996 and the time is 10.35; do you agree?
       A. Yes.

  Q. And do you still say--
       A. That is what it says, yes.

  Q. And do you still say you had nothing whatever to do with
this and you did not even know about it?
       A. I did not know that the fact sheet was on there, no.

  Q. Well, it was put on, it appears, at 10.35 just after you
had launched this site; do you agree?
       A. I really don't know.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Is it put on or is that the time it was
       printed out?

  Q. That is what I don't know. I don't know about these
       matters, my Lord.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: That is the reason I asked. You may be
right, but it may be that if one takes something off the
Internet print-out, a hard copy on the printer fixed to
your terminal and modem, it puts the time and date on as it
does it. I don't know, I do not use the Internet.

MR. RAMPTON: Maybe Mr. Atkinson does.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: It is possible.

MR. RAMPTON: Mr. Atkinson thinks, obviously, if this became a
matter of great controversy we would have to deal with it
but Mr. Atkinson thinks the time and the date when it was
       accessed, whatever that means.
