  Q. So it is a spray vaccine?
       A. Yes, a fog, yes, pretty much.

  Q. Then they go to be debeaked, you said?
       A. May or may not, yes, depending and then -----

  Q. What does that depend upon?
       A. On the practices.

  Q. It is up to the supplier whether they want to debeak them
       or not?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Tyson do that, do they?
       A. Sometimes they do, sometimes they do not. What I am
saying, when you ask me in the US, I am considering both of
other supplies, Keystone and Tyson. They are very similar,
so we do not have specifications regarding how the animals
       should be processed.

  Q. So it does not matter to McDonald's whether or not they are
       debeaked?
       A. That is right.

  Q. What happens after they have either been debeaked or not?
       A. Then they are transported to a growing house.

  Q. What age would they be transported?
       A. Oh, one to two days.

  Q. What about the ones that are small, or something like that?
Are they all transported or would they be killed?
       A. When they are?

  Q. Ones that are smaller than the rest or appear to
       have -----
       A. Unless there is obvious signs of illness, they are
processed, they are killed and slaughtered. Then from
there they are transported to the growing houses.

  Q. What percentage are killed before leaving the hatchery
because they have leg defects or something like that?
       A. Very small. There is definitely less than one per cent
and probably will be in the less than one-tenth of a per
       cent.

  Q. How would they be killed?
       A. With the neck.

  Q. The neck?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Neck dislocation?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Does the company ever use carbon dioxide gasing?
       A. Not in the US, no.

  Q. Why is that?
       A. They have not chosen not to, it is not a specific
