Day 093 - 28 Feb 95 - Page 30
A. I never timed it.

Q. A couple of hours?
A. It is less than that. It depends on the trucks and how
many people are available.

Q. Less than two hours, is it, what about one hour or
something like that then?
A. It depends again on the people.

Q. Right.
A. How many people are available?

Q. On average, how long does it take?
A. I do not know.

Q. About an hour?
A. I do not know.

Q. Have you watched it?
A. Yes, I have.

Q. You have?
A. Yes.

Q. How long did it take when you were watching it?
A. I did not time it. I said I did not time it. I am not
going to speculate.

Q. You have absolutely no idea whether it was one hour or 24
hours?
A. I did not say I had no idea. I said when I give a
fact, I want to give a fact, I want to give the truth.
I am not going to speculate.

Q. OK. So, it could be anywhere between, say, half an hour
and one-and-a-half hours then if it is to be less than two
hours?
A. Well, I mean -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do you actually know? I must say I am
concerned about just guessing if sums are then going to be
done, because if the premise you start from is wrong the
conclusion is bound to be wrong as well. Have you actually
either timed it or can you relate it to some experience of
yours so that you can make a useful estimate of how long?
A. OK. I have not timed it. I have done it and, usually,
we have trucks coming in probably every 15 minutes we will
fill them up.

MS. STEEL: Right.
A. 15 to half an hour, let us say, maximum.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Might I suggest you put the conclusion you
are getting at, if you are saying, for instance, that they
have to scurry around, just put that and we can get the
picture.

MS. STEEL: How many people would be loading a particular truck,
roughly?
