do not tell them where to source the meat.

  Q. So there is nothing to stop any country in the world
outside of the US from purchasing deboned beef from
       Coope Montecillos; no?
       A. Other than following the sanitary regulations.

  Q. I understand.
       A. We do not have a policy preventing from them, no. We
do have a policy about rainforests.

  Q. I understand that.
       A. All of those countries I am aware of.

  Q. You said that Coope Montecillos is applying to McDonald's
for some kind of export agreement, something like that?
       A. No, I did not say that. What I said was that the other
suppliers that we develop in Ggisa, we had had some
conversation with them. They have requested the
possibility of exporting to other countries.

  Q. Ggisa?
       A. Ggisa. That is correct.

  Q. I thought you said the same thing for Coope Montecillos?
       A. No. If they had requested, which every supplier
basically will do, we have not followed the normal process
of looking at that possibility. When they had asked, we
told them "No." When Ggisa asked, requested that they
wanted to export to other countries, we say we look into
it; and I have been looking into that possibility for
       several months.

  Q. Has that been finalised yet?
       A. No, it has not.

  Q. So do you know where Ggisa is interested in exporting to?
       A. Yes, I do.

  Q. Which countries?
       A. Throughout Central America and the Caribbean.

  Q. Would that be restricted to those areas, or it may be
       elsewhere?
       A. That is where -- their potential is anywhere. They
follow a process, which they have the potential to go
anywhere, with the exceptions of the countries where
regulations would prohibit them from importing that
product, such as the US; and we have the final say as to
where the product should be exported. So it is ultimately
left to McDonald's Purchasing Quality Assurance to
determine where they can export. That is local, that is
prezone, and that is corporate. So all three have to go
       through that process.

MR. MORRIS: We were going through the documents, but maybe, as
we are on Costa Rica, we might as well show the film. It
seems that we might as well see the film now.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You do not want to get through the rest of
