Day 206 - 22 Jan 96 - Page 71

Q. Steve Todd?
A. C. Todd, right at the bottom of the page.

Q. He had nought out of nought, for some reason. The start
date was wrong, according to that.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. It has changed. It looks as if someone
is suggesting that he did not start until the 29th.

MR. MORRIS: On the other page we looked at, none of them had
started recently -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What sort of innocent explanation, if any,
might there be for M. Lirwell, starting in September,
should have had two by 18th February and has not had any --
just over halfway down page 181?
A. I would not say with Mark Lirwell, but we do have
members of staff who do flux in and out, who are students
who go away for a period of time, so are not actually
present in the store, say, during the summer period, and
still have their records within the restaurant, so,
basically, are not available for a PR. I do not believe
that is the case in the case of Mark Lirwell. We have a
number of staff who go to different universities and also
come back from universities within the area to work for us.

Q. Well, he or she -- that is a he, is it?
A. Mark, yes.

Q. -- was only 17.

MR. MORRIS: He also appears on the other sheet on 188, having
had two out of three of his PRs by October 1994. Right.
We can look at the details of the other ones later.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You have canvassed your point enough to bring
it out into the open.

MR. MORRIS: Yes. Might that be a good time to break today?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, if you want to. 10.30.

(The court adjourned until the following day at 10.30 a.m.)
