Q. Did you have injuries yourself?
A. Yes, many times, many burns. I went to hospital twice

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Your?
A. Sorry. My hand was enclosed in a plastic bag of cream
for several days. Once, when I was rushing around to get
something from the stock room, I cut my finger and had
stitches in it, whilst I was working at the Ipswich store.

MR. MORRIS: Sorry, you said you had had stitches; have you
still got a scar?
A. Yes. It is across my middle finger.

Q. Have you any comment about pay levels of crew members at
McDonald's at the time you worked there?
A. Yes. They were very poor.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Can you remember what you were getting when

MR. JUSTICE BELL: When you gave me the ú2.50, between ú2.50 and

Q. Can you remember what you got in the pub when you went to

Q. It was all proper -----
A. It was an Inde Coope pub.

MR. MORRIS: When you said between ú2.50 and ú2.90, what was the

A. Yes, as far as I remember.

Q. Right. You would get extra if you worked unsocial hours?
