Day 267 - 21 Jun 96 - Page 55
A. Sorry, photograph?

Q. 9.
A. Thank you.

Q. Did you look through them?
A. I may have done.

Q. You may have done?
A. (No reply).

Q. You do not recollect what you saw, if you did?
A. No, I really do not.

Q. The things labelled number 7, the package and the box, did
you look through that?
A. Yes, I probably would have done.

Q. Do you remember now what you saw? Well, you do not know
for sure that you did look through?
A. If my notes say that I have looked through, if they do
not -- I imagine, looking at it now, I would have done
because it says "McDonald's fact sheets".

Q. But if your notes do not mention it, then you do not
actually remember; you just imagine that you would have
done?
A. No, if my notes do not mention it, it means that I did
not make a note of it.

Q. But if your notes do not mention it, you do not have a
clear recollection now of having done it. You just say you
would imagine you might have done?
A. If it had "McDonald's" on the side of the box, I am
confident that I would have looked.

Q. That McDonald's fact sheet that is on the box, that would
not happen to be your writing, would it?
A. Not at all.

Q. And the oh so carefully placed leaflet sticking out at the
top would not have happened to be oh so carefully placed
there by you when you went into the offices to take these
photographs, would it?
A. Not at all, sir.

Q. Do you actually remember looking right through that box?
A. No, not now.

MR. MORRIS: Do you remember actually looking in that box at
all?
A. I cannot recall.

Q. Right.

MS. STEEL: In photograph 10, the international -- well,
firstly, the McDonald's drawer. Did you look through that?
A. I cannot recall. I probably would have.

Q. But you could not now recall what was in it?
