Day 311 - 06 Dec 96 - Page 11

MR. RAMPTON: Here I have got what are very nearly perfect
copies. I am not asking your Lordship to substitute them
now, because no doubt your Lordship has written on the ones
       you have already got.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Is there anything wrong with what I have?

MR. RAMPTON: There are some mistakes. I am not sure that any
of them are particularly serious. I will quickly run
through them, if it would help.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I think it would, because I have made some
pencil notes on this, and I do not relish having to
transfer them on to something else.

MR. RAMPTON: May I then quickly run through file 6?

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.

MR. RAMPTON: Starting with "Publication" on page 2. Most of
these are just typographical; the machine goes bananas from
time to time and does funny things. On page 2, on the
lefthand side of the page, under "demo at East Finchley",
there is a closing figure 249; that should transfer to the
opposite side of the page in front of the "27".

MS. STEEL: Are we going through the old version?

  MR. RAMPTON: Yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: This is divider 1 of volume 6.

MR. RAMPTON: That is right, my Lord,

MR. JUSTICE BELL: On page 2?

MR. RAMPTON: Then the next one is on page 6. At the top of the
page, under "Pocklington", the last line has an XX in it.
I do not know why. It should not be there.

MR. MORRIS: Where is this -- sorry?

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Page 6.

MR. RAMPTON: Page 6, last line under "Pocklington", first
entry; there is an XX there which should not be there.

MS. STEEL: Is there supposed to be any reference?

MR. RAMPTON: No. It is just 2-10 as the next section of my
submission on publication. Most of these are pretty
trivial, but I may as well clear it.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I would rather you do it this way, because it
will save me an awful lot of time, and I will have probably
missed them anyway. Where is the next one?

MR. RAMPTON: On the top of page 7, my Lord, the first line of
paragraph 1, there should be a bracket after the word
