Day 267 - 21 Jun 96 - Page 49
Q. You said the lock was not very strong. Are you sure you
did not just shoulder the door?
A. I am sure I did not.

MR. MORRIS: Just on this subject, you said you did not make any
notes because it was not a meeting. Do you remember that?
A. Yes.

Q. So was it things that were not meeting you did not make
notes of in your book?
A. No, it was that evening I saw no necessity to make a
note.

Q. So you did put notes in your book about other things apart
from meetings?
A. Yes, I would have done.

Q. Like what?
A. Such as observations on addresses.

Q. Right, and you were doing that while you were attending
these meetings. Every so often there would be observations
on peoples' houses?
A. I recall to the latter part, yes.

MS. STEEL: Were they connected with this investigation or was
that about something different?
A. The notes that I made?

Q. In this book?
A. The notes in that book are all pertaining to this
inquiry.

Q. So what were these observations then?
A. Observations on addresses.

Q. Whose addresses?
A. They would be detailed in the book.

Q. But whose address? You were there. You must remember it?
A. I believe there were a couple of addresses in north
London.

Q. My address?
A. If the address stated in there is your address then,
yes, it would be your address.

Q. No, but do you remember making observations on my address?
A. I may have done, yes.

Q. You were involved in serving the writs you said?
A. I was involved in assisting with serving the writs.

Q. What assistance was that then?
A. I described you to them and I probably gave the
individuals tasked with serving the writs information about
you and other members.

Q. Did you go there with them when they were going to serve
the writs?
