Day 094 - 01 Mar 95 - Page 14
Q. That is just for the existence of it, rather than the
intensity?
A. That is correct. Again, in terms of the intensity,
that would be very close to, it will be close to.

Q. Is the intensity measured as well?
A. Yes. It is measured as a viral indicator, the term
that they use.

MS. STEEL: The figures you have, three to 22 per cent, are they
what you have been told or have you actually seen the
company's records?
A. I have not seen the records -- some of the discussions
we have had.

Q. They told McDonald's that it was between three and 22 per
cent?
A. Yes, somebody else might have gone and looked into the
records, but yes.

Q. What, all three suppliers said exactly the same amount?
A. No, no. We are running about 15 per cent this month,
next month it will be three per cent and the next day it
will be 22. The next time will be 30.

Q. So it is sometimes more than 22 per cent?
A. Yes, that is what would be the range that we normally
run.

Q. Between three and 30?
A. That is what you normally, yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: When you say "the range" you normally run,
which range were you talking about then?
A. From three to about 22, 20, 22.

Q. That is the normal range?
A. Yes, when we had discussions, it is about three this
month or this particular day, the next day would be 22.

MS. STEEL: Is it not right that you said the range was between
three and 30?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: No, I am afraid I came in there because
I thought you might have been at cross-purposes. It goes
up to 30 on occasion?
A. Rare occasions.

Q. Say what the normal range is?
A. Yes.

Q. What is it?
A. Three to about 20, 22, that is what we normally have.

Q. But 30 is not unusual?
A. 30 might happen once a year, one particular day you
could get that figure.

MS. STEEL: Three is a pretty rare occurrence as well, is it
not?
