Day 303 - 19 Nov 96 - Page 35

remember various things about which she was unhappy. One
was, for example, the foreshortening or squashing of the
physical conditions within the restaurant. I remember she
       said that.

I remember that she was unhappy about the filming of the
rap session because she thought people might be a bit
inhibited, matters of that kind. I do not say that it was
a wholly inaccurate picture. I never said that.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: No. The reason I interrupt you every now and
again is when you say something has been admitted, I think
what you mean is the overall effect is that it is admitted,
whereas to a boring old lawyer like me, something is either
admitted or it is not admitted, there is nothing
qualitative about an admission, it is completely black and
       white.

It is not to say that at the end of the day when I consider
all the whole all the evidence, I might end up saying there
was no effective dispute about this or that, which is a
       different matter.

MR. MORRIS: Yes. Maybe I should say that. I am using it in
       the normal, ordinary sense, but....

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Anyway, plough on.

MR. RAMPTON: I also remember, as it has arisen, Mr. Nicholson
saying he thought it had been speeded up in places.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: At the end of the day I may not be impressed
       about that.

MR. RAMPTON: You may not be persuaded by it.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: On the other hand, I have to bear in mind how
things look on two dimensional camera to when you are using
       your own eyes.

  MR. RAMPTON: Exactly.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: But it may not at the end of the day. It is
a clearly a busy store, everyone was rushing round doing
things absolutely as quickly as they could in a lot of
       situations.

MR. RAMPTON: Absolutely, which is what I would except them to
       do.

MR. MORRIS: Yes. So, Ms. Anteneh, day 161, said that she
sometimes kept staff on at the end of the shift. That is
on page 12. There was something about getting burns from
the toaster, not only from the inside but also from the
sides. That was on page 11, I think. Although I have
something that says 50/52. It is possibly on page 50.

I will just mention a few bits and pieces from my notes
because this is one of the few witnesses I have actually
got some references on, specific references. She said that
