meat which comes from animals which are grown in situations
where contamination with the environment is inevitable.

  Q. So it is much more prevalent in meat products basically; is
       that correct?
       A. I do not know particularly.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Let us break off there. If you have anything

                       (Luncheon Adjournment)

MR. MORRIS: Is it correct that McDonald's use meat from about
27 million birds per year for Europe? I think that is the
       figure that Mr. Kenny -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, that was the figure in his supplemental,
10.5 for the UK and 27 for Europe, I think.

  THE WITNESS: OK.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do you know?
       A. I have no idea, I am afraid.

MR. MORRIS: Does that sound reasonable figures to you?
       A. I guess, yes, it does.

  Q. Let us assume Mr. Kenny is correct. I calculate that 27
million birds per year at two kilos per bird would be 300
bins a day arriving at the Orleon plant?
       A. Are you taking the weight, the meat?
