were involved in political activity would be well aware
that they gleaned their sources from letters written to
newspapers and magazines and so on.

So, obviously, if you did not want to find yourself
being unable to work for the rest of your life, it would
not be at all surprising if you decided to use another name
to write a letter to a paper. And also because people
would have a fear of attacks from facists as well.

Just one other thing about I referred to allotments
and growing, people growing their own food. Apart from
obviously interested in growing organic food, showing an
interest in being concerned about nutrition and health and
related issues, the other point is that, you know, the
group and people in it did not just believe in criticising
multinationals and others for what they were doing. They
believed in putting forward constructive alternatives about
the way society would be run, along the lines of
cooperation, you know, between people in communities and
sharing out the resources that are available, growing your
own food and so on. And that is what you know, the growing
your own food on an allotment is part of that it is about
producing your own foods and not being reliant on
multinational companies and just really trying to change
society and work things out here and now. I think I have
       virtually finished.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Just take a moment or two to check?
       A. Just on the thing that I was saying, I think the back
page of the fact sheet is an important part of the
leaflet. It is about the alternatives to multinational
companies and it talks about people tending to undervalue
their own personal responsibility and influence, and that
change in society starts from individuals taking the time
to think about the way they live and acting on their
beliefs. That movements are just ordinary people linking
       together, one by one.

It goes on to talk about making contact, sharing
ideas, various groups around the world campaigning on
different issues, that wherever there is oppression there
is resistance, people having the courage to take action and
to create a better life. It refers to, under the "make
contact, share" idea section it says: "Wherever there is
oppression, there is resistance. People are organising
themselves, taking courage from the activities of ordinary
concerned people from all around the world, learning new
ways and finding new energy to create a better life."

And the last section talks about getting together and
growing your own food and sharing food. Really, the whole
point is that this is not a negative leaflet, it is a
positive leaflet. It is talking about wanting a better
society. McDonald's talk about global domination, which I
think is extremely concerning. London Greenpeace was just
working to try and create a society based on cooperation
and sharing, where people had control have control over
their own lives and their communities and where all the
resources are shared by everyone. To me, that is what all
