Day 204 - 15 Jan 96 - Page 36
Q. What, one or two a week or -----
A. Possibly. Sometimes you would have a surgery and
nobody would turn up. Other weeks you would have one or
two.

Q. What would happen at the surgery?
A. Well, they would -- the crew member would come along
with whatever the problem was and we would try and sort it
out.

Q. Right.
A. Say, you know, they may come along and say: "Got a
problem with this", you know, "it is not what I thought it
would be" or "I thought I was going to earn more than
that", or something like, and then we can have a look at
the clock cards, check it with the payroll and, if there
was a problem, then we would sort it out.

It is also used for, you know, if you were not happy with
the schedule or, say, for instance, if they did not want to
work two or three nights, they would be scheduled three
nights, for instance, and they only wanted to work for two,
they could change their availability.

Q. Have you seen -- it is not a statement -- the notes made by
Tracey Milleine about what happened to her?
A. I may have done. I have not -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Is there a divider 34B there?
A. Yes.

Q. Turn that up.
A. It has got Tracey Milleine's statement.

Q. It is not a statement made by her. It is some notes which
Mrs. Brinley-Codd, or one of her helpful assistants, has
made of what it was thought Tracey Milleine might say were
she called to give evidence.

MS. STEEL: If could you read through that, please?
A. From the start?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Why not read it all through and then you ask
about part of it?
A. No. 1 -----

Q. No, just read it -- take time to read it to yourself. Sit
down, if it helps.
A. Yes, I am ready.

MS. STEEL: What do you remember about the events that she
recounts there?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do you have a particular -- that is quite a
big question.

MS. STEEL: Sorry about from paragraph (8) onwards, do you
remember about that?
A. I do not remember anything about it at all, no.
