Day 265 - 19 Jun 96 - Page 80
conclusion. If Mr. Morris wants to read them out, or
Ms. Steel, I hope we have time to do that. But if we do
not have time, we will follow what is, after all, the
normal procedure and have them taken as read.

MR. RAMPTON: The judge reads them and then they become evidence
in the case.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: We will just have to wait and see how we go
for time.

MR. RAMPTON: Can I say that, on the other hand, an evaluation
of the evidential status of what I have loosely called the
computer documents is important.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: If you are suggesting that the time would be
better spent with Ms. Steel and Mr. Morris applying their
minds to that with a view to giving you a prompt answer I
do not need any persuading. That is what you would like
really, is it not? Yes. We will deal with Miss Brophy
tomorrow. We will come back to the question of your bullet
points and as much extra information as you can give
tomorrow, and then we will call it a day until Friday
morning subject to any other procedural matters which must
be discussed.

MS. STEEL: It is 11.30 tomorrow?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, I will say 11.30.
