Day 257 - 06 Jun 96 - Page 33
MS. STEEL: The fax that you were sent of the key tables of the
raw data, did you give that to the solicitors?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You had better check just what that is
because what I have just read back seems to be inconsistent
with receiving anything else.

MS. STEEL: Well, he was talking about information he
specifically got for the purposes of compiling this chart.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I see.
A. The only chart the solicitors received was, in fact,
the original of AF3.

MS. STEEL: So you did not give them the key tables which you
got from Taylor Nelson?
A. I did not get key tables, I got a--

Q. A fax of key tables.
A. Yes, I got a series of handwritten fax, probably
handwritten on the 2 or 3 page fax. I did not think it
would be appropriate to send that to the solicitors, and
the reason for producing AF3 was to put it into a format
that hopefully made some sense to the court.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Just pause a moment. That came from Taylor
Nelson did it?
A. It came via, the fax came via, the advertising agency
again.

MS. STEEL: Which advertising agency is that?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Just pause a moment.

MS. STEEL: Sorry.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You got a series of handwritten faxes of
tables via the advertising agency from which you made both
sheets of AF3 and then you sent both those sheets to
Barlows?
A. One sheet, in fact, the original AF3 sheet here, there
may have been 2 originally?

Q. The first one is the previous sheet, they are both AF3?
A. OK.

Q. Is that right or not?

MS. STEEL: I think the other one was an old one?
A. I think the other one was from a previous submission,
yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Indeed, it was, but what did you make that up
from?
A. This is based on fast track AF2 data.

Q. Yes, that is the fast track one?
A. Yes.

Q. So you made the second sheet of AF3 from handwritten faxes
