    11        requirements and expectations, significant contributors"?

    14   Q.   So, that is what I put to you earlier and you said that was
    15        not right.
    16        A.  No, no, what was attainable.  What is attainable is 100
    17        per cent.

    22        mean, what is wrong with, what are you attacking there?

    25        order to get the outstanding, the 15 pence, you have to get
    26        93 and a half per cent?
    27        A.  Yes.

    29   Q.   "Performance is always of exceptional quality, our best
    30        performers"?
    31        A.  Yes.

    33   Q.   You agreed that would only apply to a small percentage of
    34        the crew?
    35        A.  I have no idea what percentage of the crew it applies
    36        to.

    38   Q.   Right.  It is exceptional, so by definition that is going
    39        to be a small percentage?
    40        A.  We could have a lot of exceptional people; I like to
    41        think we have.

    43   Q.   They would not be very exceptional then, would they?  The
    44        point is that in order to get any kind of increase -- in
    45        actual fact, I do not think 10 pence is that much of a huge
    46        increase, but even in order to get 10 pence an hour, you
    47        have to consistently exceed job requirements; so you would
    48        have to work much harder than was expected of you and much
    49        faster and smile as often as you possibly could and
    50        consistently sell up to customers, things like that? 
    51        A.  No, you just have to be an excellent performer.

    53   Q.   Yes, consistently exceeding the job requirements?
    54        A.  I have no argument with that.  I am sorry, I cannot see
    55        where that makes us any different to any other employer.

    57   Q.   If they just meet the requirements of the job, then they
    58        are going to stay only five pence above the minimum wage?
    59        A.  But I would have thought everybody is striving to be
    60        good at their job.
