Day 042 - 31 Oct 94 - Page 70
wishes. Mr. Rampton, that is much smaller and I would be
grateful if you would make as many copies as you need for
your own side, one for me and one for the witness box,
please.

MR. RAMPTON: We will simply copy the whole of this -- it is
only four pages -- in sufficient numbers. What we do with
this, I am not sure.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: That is entirely up to you what you do with
it. This is right, Mr. Morris, is it not, you have said
you will make a copy of the pink book for me and for the
witness box?

MR. MORRIS: Yes. I am just seeing if there are any other
documents.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, if there are any other documents which,
for whatever reason, have not got into the bundle which you
think you may need to use in cross-examination of
Mr. Hawkes tomorrow, let us know now.

MR. MORRIS: I have some documents. I was not exactly sure what
I was going to be referring to or not really. There are
definitely some from the National Food Alliance, but I do
not really want to hand them over tonight and not have them
myself overnight. Is it possible for me to copy documents
tonight and serve them in the morning and have a 5 or
10-minute break so they can be looked at by the witness and
the Plaintiffs?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: How long are the documents?

MR. MORRIS: The rest of the documents are small documents. We
have copies of two documents that we can serve that we have
copies of.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Hand those to Mrs. Brinley-Codd or someone
now.

MS. STEEL: "Parents' Attitude Towards Children's Food
Advertising" which is the results of a MORI survey
commissioned by the National Food Alliance in July this
year. There is a National Food Alliance press release
which I think is about the same thing. Yes, it is about
the MORI survey.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Can you hand those to Mr. Rampton so he can
at least see now how many pages there are. Hand them all
in as a piece tomorrow. Are there any others you want to
use?

MR. MORRIS: I think the others if we do use them would be
single pages. Would it be all right to fax those tonight?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. Fax them this evening and make sure you
have enough, at least a copy for me and a copy for the
witness box which will go into one bundle or another in the
morning. As far as I am concerned, any of McDonald's legal
advisers can speak to Mr. Hawkes overnight in relation to
