  Q. Or some other -----
       A. David Wignall formally undertook to go and look at the
operations side. It was between David Wignall and the QA
department, normally Keith, that would look into alleged
       food poisoning incidents.

  Q. You do not get involved with that now?
       A. I may well do since David no longer is doing that job.

  Q. But you have not done in the last six months since you have
       taken over this job?
       A. No, David Wignall ceased doing his job last Friday.

  Q. Last Friday?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Did he leave the Company?
       A. He left the Company.

  Q. I thought you took over his job six months ago?
       A. No, I took my current job six months ago. David
Wignall worked for me. He was in the training department
and then about four months ago came to work directly for me
in the Operations Development department. I was promoted
six months ago to assume responsibility for the Health and
Safety Department, Training, Operations Development and
       Customer Services.

  Q. So has anyone taken over Mr. Wignall's job?
       A. His job, his responsibilities have been split. Jill
Barnes now has the food safety aspect of David's job, which
is formulating Company food safety policy, dealing with
Environmental Health Officers on food safety issues, really
focuses health, safety and hygiene in a department.

  Q. Who deals with the rest of his job?
       A. The replacement is, his direct replacement -- he was in
Operations Development with responsibility for food
safety. Within that there is the liaison with
Environmental Health Officers and the policy formulation.
There is also a great deal of project work, looking at how
we can better improve our food safety systems, better hand
washing procedures and things in general. Project work
falls under the Operations Development department. Jill
Barnes has taken over the Environmental Health liaison. We
find it is much better because she did that under health
and safety so the Environmental Health Officers just have
one point of contact which is her and her department on any
       issue whatsoever.

  Q. Are you aware of incidents where McDonald's has been fined
       for selling under-cooked products?
       A. No.

  Q. You are not aware of them. Are you aware of an incident a
couple of months ago where the customer was sold McNuggets,
       Chicken McNuggets, containing salmonella?
       A. I am not aware of that, maybe if you gave me more
       details?
