     1   MR. MORRIS:  Mr. Rampton referred to that.  I wanted to refer to
     2        that.  Half a per cent working over 50 hours, you accept,
     3        in that quarter?
     4        A.  Yes, in that week before the end of the quarter.

     6   Q.   Yes.  But those percentages that we have been through, that
     7        does not strike you as anything unusual, we can -----
     8        A.  It does not strike me as anything unusual, no.

    10   Q.   Maybe if we move on to a different document?  The document
    11        A, if you can get document A?  This is filled in by a
    12        Supervisor of a Manager's performance, yes, to see how they
    13        are doing?
    14        A.  Not if is what I am looking at; if it is personnel
    15        procedures for ------

    18        A.  Yes.

    21        A.  That would be the Area Supervisor or the Human
    22        Resources Officer.  It was not who completed it, which is
    23        what you said afterwards that I was disagreeing with.

    25   Q.   Who is it filled in about?
    26        A.  About the restaurant.

    29        A.  Well, the management team; it is about how the
    30        restaurant -----

    32   Q.   It is about how the management performance.  OK.

    34   MS. STEEL:   How exactly is this done?  I looked through it and
    35        it does not seem to be an audit of people actually at work;
    36        it seems to be checking that all the records are present
    37        and correct, is that fair to say that that is what it is
    38        based upon?
    39        A.  Certainly, the first section is that, yes.

    41   Q.   Sorry.  When I say "people at work" I mean the actual
    42        observing individuals making burgers and things like that?
    43        A.  No.  That is right.  It is not the purpose of it.

    45   Q.   When you say certainly the first section is checking the
    46        records are present and correct, do you feel that is
    47        different from the second section or something?
    48        A.  No, I was just starting off because you said it was
    49        going through records.  I was agreeing that the first
    50        section was going through records.

    52   Q.   Would you agree that for the whole of the audit really? 
    53        A.  Well, I am not sure exactly what the thrust of the
    54        question is.  The second section, if I deal with that, is
    55        about pay reviews and performance reviews of current
    56        employees, so those are looked at.

    58   Q.   But that would be again looking at the paperwork kept by
    59        the store?
    60        A.  Yes, that is right.
