Day 250 - 15 May 96 - Page 61

       A. That is the size I am talking about.

  Q. Yes, and leaflets like this are ones you generally see on
the demonstrations that you have been to organised by
London Greenpeace, or whatever; that is what is generally
handed out, is it not, all around the country?
       A. I do not know.

  Q. From the ones you have seen yourself?
       A. No, I have not been to any demonstrations around the
country. The only demonstrations I have been to are three
I went to at Head Office, four.

  Q. But leaflets like this were handed out on those
       demonstrations?
       A. No, the leaflet I saw -----

  Q. No, you saw -----
       A. The leaflet I saw Ms. Steel pick up had that
frontispiece. The leaflet I was handed had that
frontispiece and when opened out was the six page leaflet
complained of; the six pages leaflet complained of.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Just pause a moment.

MS. STEEL: The photographs that you have looked at in 22 and
       23?
       A. Yes.

  Q. You would agree you would not be able to tell whether it
was that type of leaflet or that type of leaflet?
       A. No, I am only going on the size, and I agree the box,
the image of the box -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You are assuming, rightly or wrongly, that
the picture on the box portrays the leaflets that he was
handing out; that is the basis of your conclusion?
       A. Yes, that is what I am saying and, clearly, in the next
picture he is clearly handing a leaflet to someone in the
       back.

MR. MORRIS: He may, in fact, be giving out a leaflet about a
       five-a-side football contest?
       A. No, I did not see that.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: He has explained the reasoning. When I have
heard all the evidence I will have to make of it what
       I will.

MS. STEEL: If we say in relation to the question I asked, so
it is on the record for when we read it later, that one of
the leaflets I was holding up was the two sides of A4 and
the other was the fold out.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Can you turn the one in your right hand round
       the other way as well?

MS. STEEL: Two sides of A5 as well.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Can you just turn the one in your right hand
