the meeting, and because, you know, people at the meeting
had a lot of questions that they wanted to ask Cam.
Because he could not answer them, he told them the best
person to ask is Sarah because she is the one who is trying
       to do this, like -----

  Q. Did anybody else, apart from Sarah, speak up for the
       union ---
       A. Not that I can remember.

  Q. -- at that meeting?
       A. Not that I can remember.

  Q. Not one of the 67 people or the majority of crew who signed
       up for the union?
       A. Did they say anything positive about the union, is that
       what you are asking?

  Q. Yes.
       A. I cannot remember. No, I do not think so.

  Q. Right, OK. At the Labour Board hearing, the union did not
put their case, did they? It was agreed before they put
their case that there would be a vote instead; is that
       correct?
       A. I believe so, yes. I do not think they had anybody
testify at the Labour Board hearings.

  Q. The McDonald's side of the case had been put for the whole
of the three or four months?
       A. Yes, they were going to testify.

  Q. Right.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: When you gave evidence, an attorney or lawyer
asked you questions first of all; is that right?
       A. Yes, the McDonald's lawyer, I believe his name was
Mr. Horan, and he was the one who asked me questions first.

  Q. I was going to ask you whether it was a McDonald's lawyer
or Mr. Pugsley who was acting for -----
       A. The McDonald's lawyer asked me questions first.

  Q. Did Mr. Pugsley ask you questions then or the union lawyer
       next?
       A. Mr. Pugsley asked me questions next.

  Q. Then the union lawyer cross-examined you ---
       A. That is right.

  Q. -- then?
       A. Right.

MR. MORRIS: Did you have during the Labour Board hearings and
the lead up to the vote a pizza party, non-union event at
       your house?
       A. No, what I did is I had some people come over, and we
were discussing the union and why we thought McDonald's did
not need one, and why we should not have one, and because
it was right after school and everyone was hungry,
