before. He was involved in the survey doing the survey

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You want to read him, do you?

MR. MORRIS: Yes, we are certainly not going to call him.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You are going to call Mr. Duncan, are you?

MR. MORRIS: We certainly intend to, but ----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You are hoping to call Mr. Duncan?

MR. MORRIS: Yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You want to read Mr. Yensen and Miss Lovitt,
do you?

MR. MORRIS: Lovitt, yes; we do not want to read Mr. Yensen
because we are hoping to call him, as indeed we have
informed the Plaintiffs. There is another witness from
abroad which -- I think it was one you said we ought to
type up his handwritten part of his statement which was --
is it Michael Soriano from the Chicago trade union
dispute? We have not typed up his -- but, I mean, there is
no harm, presumably, in not doing every statement tomorrow.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: No, you can bring him in later. Obviously
since we are going to have time tomorrow, if you can use
the time the better, but you need not feel under pressure
with regard to that.

MR. MORRIS: Right. That is the bulk of them, anyway.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Is there anything that can be offered for
Friday because we will certainly get through all of that
comfortably tomorrow, will we not?

MR. MORRIS: Yes. We have not got anything to offer on Friday
and also Ms. Steel does not know if she will be better by
Friday in any event, and, thirdly, because of her illness,
she does not -- she said to me she does not feel she has
had the preparation time that she would like to use on
Friday if she has time, if that can be left spare.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Is there anything you want to say about that,
Mr. Rampton?

MR. RAMPTON: Not about the rest of this week, no.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Tomorrow we will hear Mr. Pattinson. You can
read Karen Anstee, Nicholas Magill, David McGee, Connor
McCann, William Davidson and Rosemary Lovitt. We will have
Friday as a preparation day. What about next week,
Wednesday and Thursday?

MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, the position next week is that, as we
have said, Mr. Megan will be here to give evidence about
Dudley in the late 70s and mid 80s. After that there are
at least three days blank because we have then finished our
