1 I would guess that we had restaurants involved in waste
generated being used for power generation somewhere, given
2 to local authorities for power generation, but I do not
know of a specific instance beyond those two
3 generalities. We had done some work with----

A. Sure.

6 A. Waste in our stores would have gone into the waste
stream packaging founding their way into the waste bins
7 gathered up.
8 Q. If I was to suggest that you had a pilot scheme in or
around 1991 in Nottingham for recycling consumer waste,
9 would that be accurate?
A. It could be.

Q. If it had been a pilot scheme in general it would not have
11 happened previously?
A. It may have happened somewhere else. I do not know
12 whether it happened here or not.
13 Q. Do you know of any time it happened before that?
A. I know that the company in the Netherlands has long
14 been as part of their efforts a fuel source for the
country.

Q. I am talking about the UK. You do not know of any?
16 A. Not specifically, no.

consumer waste? That purchased by customers?
18 A. I do not know.
19 Q. Are you aware of the Advertising Standards Authority
asking you to amend an advert where you had advertised
20 your packaging as recycleable?
A. I do not recall it, no.
