Day 265 - 19 Jun 96 - Page 31
You know what that is?
A. That is the door to the London Greenpeace office.

Q. To the office. Yes. I see. And then over the page, there
is a somewhat wonkey shot of the inside?
A. Yes, sir.

Q. And then over the page some more shots of shelves, and then
7. Do you see there is a picture of an untidy desk?
A. Yes, sir.

Q. And at the left-hand side of the desk there is a wooden --
I do not know what you call it, cabinet of trays or
something, with drawers on it. You see that?
A. That is correct, yes.

Q. We are told, though we cannot read it -- at least I could
not -- that they go in this order: there is one marked
'1', '2' and '3'; urgent letters; McDonald's letters;
other campaigns and London Greenpeace literature, and the
bottom one, which is not marked, called 'answered
letters'. Do you remember that or not?
A. From reading the key to the photographs, yes, that
would be correct.

Q. Then 8 is just a shot of some posters. 9, I would like you
to pay some attention to. It has got the numbers 6, 7 and
8 on it. The key says that 7 is 'anti-McDonald's leaflets
facts sheets', that 8 is 'leaflets, mixed topics including
anti-McDonald's' and that 6 is 'answered letters regarding
McDonald's'. I would like you to look at the shelf in the
middle of the picture above the filing cabinet with the
green label on it, at the two objects marked 7.

MR. MORRIS: What number are we on now?

MR. RAMPTON: Page 9. You see the cardboard box with 'McD fact
sheets' on it?
A. Yes, I do, sir.

Q. And beside it there are piles of something or other in torn
brown paper packages. Do you see that?
A. Yes, I do, sir.

Q. Do you remember those objects in another London Greenpeace
office?
A. Yes, I do.

Q. What were, so far as you can remember, the documents -- we
can see one sticking out at the top -- the documents inside
the box called 'McD fact sheets'?
A. It was the multi-sided fact sheet, the multi-sided
leaflet.

Q. And do you know what was inside the torn paper packages,
marked 7?
A. I could not recall now.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Just pause a minute, please.
