MR. MORRIS: We have not got any further questions.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Thank you. Thank you very much for coming,
Professor Campbell. If you would like to leave the witness
box.

(The witness withdrew)

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What about tomorrow?

MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, there is no witness listed for tomorrow.
There is always Mr. Nicholson to finish. I do not know if
your Lordship has heard; I may have a certain personal
difficulty for tomorrow, but if it is cross-examination of
Mr. Nicholson, I could arrange for Mr. Atkinson to be here
in my place, if your Lordship will forgive me. Maybe
I shall be in court anyway. I am not suggesting on my
account your Lordship should lose a day of court time. The
only use would be if there is any serious interlocutory
matter; then I probably ought to do that.

MS. STEEL: If I could just say that we have had a letter from
the Appeal Court, and we have to get the bundles done and
served this week. So, it would actually be helpful if
Mr. Rampton does not particularly want to sit tomorrow.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: On this occasion I am not going to press the
point. If Mr. Rampton has a difficulty anyway, if you have
something you want to do tomorrow which is related to the
case, I think the cleanest thing is to adjourn now until
Thursday morning, when we will hear Mr. Fairgrieve. Should
Mr. Fairgrieve finish comfortably before the end of Friday,
then I would like you to be prepared to go back to Mr.
Nicholson then, provided Mr. Nicholson can attend. Do you
understand?

MS. STEEL: Yes.
