Day 258 - 07 Jun 96 - Page 35
to Mr. Nicholson, to carry on with his cross-examination
this afternoon. If you want slightly longer than normal
midday adjournment so you can get back into gear on Mr
Nicholson I am content that you should have it. I was
thinking of saying five past two, and we will carry on with
Mr Nicholson.

Sidney Thompson Nicholson, recalled
Cross-examined by the Defendants, continued

MR. MORRIS: Can I just ask you about the documents that were
disclosed today; did you get a copy of them?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I would like to be told where to put them in
due course.

MR. RAMPTON: Pink 1A, my Lord, tab 60B for "Basil". (Handed).

MR. MORRIS: Sorry, I do not understand what the first sheet is.

MR. RAMPTON: The first sheet is, I think, a fax transaction

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Have you got the original?

MR. RAMPTON: No, I have not got it here. The trouble is, these

report?

MR. MORRIS: I do not know who it is from, whether it is from
one of the agents or one--

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Does it matter necessarily?

MR. MORRIS: I do not know.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I do not know why. It is only out of
absolute thoroughness that the fax transactions were
brought as being disclosed.

MR. RAMPTON: I agree.

MR. MORRIS: No, I mean the documents themselves. I can see it
says fax something or other on both of them, but the very
top of the page has not come out clearly. I am sure there
is probably a better copy in court somewhere.

MR. RAMPTON: No, there is not. They are old faxes made.

MR. MORRIS: The top has been cut off.

MR. RAMPTON: I dare say it has been cut off because it is
