ANTONY POCKLINGTON, recalled
Cross-examination by the Defendants, continued

MS. STEEL: I have got to sort out my notes. I do not know
whether I should mention this now. I have a couple of
photographs which I got done today, which are just somebody
who I want to ask Mr. Pocklington about. So if I pass them
over. I do not want to interrupt the questions right now.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. Carry on with your cross-examination
and then come back to them at the appropriate moment.

MS. STEEL: I think we were on 19th April.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: The last note I have is 22nd March 1990.

MS. STEEL: Right, yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You have dealt with that. Nothing much
happened, as I recall, on that date. 19th April.

MS. STEEL: You have got your notes for 19th April; yes?
A. I have, yes.

Q. This is a meeting at Caledonian Road, and you have recorded
Helen Steel, Dave Morris, Jane Laporte, Marion, Alan, seen
at some previous meetings and coming from Catford, and a
girl called Gabrielle. There is reference to the next
meeting going to be at 6 Endsleigh Street and videos being
shown; and then you say that nothing further of interest
was discussed at the meeting; yes?
A. Yes.

Q. So there would have been nothing discussed about McDonald's
of any significance?
A. I assume not.

Q. Then, at the bottom of the page, you say:

"In a private conversation between Jane Laporte and myself,
she told me that for a long time I was under suspicion from
the rest of the group and called 'the infiltrator' by
somebody within the group whom she would not specify. She
said that no one had said anything to this effect
recently."

Did you have the impression that people considered you
suspicious?
A. I was never particularly given that impression, no.

Q. So, generally, people were, you know, friendly and open to
you?
A. Yes. I did not experience anything other than that.

Q. Are you quite sure that all these people were at this
meeting, are you? I mean, I do not mean any individual
one, but you are quite sure that there were six other
people apart from you?
A. Just six other people. I can only go by my notes, and
my notes have indicated that those people were there
