Day 192 - 27 Nov 95 - Page 51

it was for extra money like to go to the movies and such,
but the main reason was so that I could get a university
education because the government does not fund as much as
they used to any more, and there are people working there
that are living on their own where they have to support
their families. So, I mean, it is not just pocket money.

  Q. She was asked -- this is on page 59 of the same day --
about Cam's wife. What was Cam's wife called?
       A. Avis.

  Q. Pardon?
       A. Avis, A-V-I-S, I think.

  Q. Not Alison?
       A. No, that is his daughter.

  Q. Sorry, Avis, was she working at the store at all?
       A. Yes. I think she was a -- I think they called it a
CSR, Customer Service Representative or Relations, or
something, where she works with the public. I guess
customer relations, or something -- I do not really know --
and then she did paperwork, like administrative duties, or
       something.

  Q. How was she perceived by employees?
       A. She was a nice woman; people seemed to like her, yes.

  Q. She was part of the management team, was she, in some way?
       A. Yes, she was looked at that way. I do not know whether
she was management per se or not, but she was looked at
that way because she was the boss's wife, right.

  Q. That is Miss Iurillo. One question before we go on to
Michelle Wetli -- if I can ask for a bit of guidance from
the court. We have these 20 statements and I certainly do
not want to go through them, or however many there are from
the Plaintiffs. I think I have dealt with it generally.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: No, you do not have to go through them all.
What I suggest you do is take any points which you think
are important and Miss Inglis can deal with from her own
       knowledge.

  MR. MORRIS: Right.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I do not think any point will be taken
against you that you have not asked her about each or,
indeed, any of the individual -----

MR. MORRIS: I think I have dealt with them in general anyway,
the general thrust of them. (To the witness) Just one
question of something about Jodie Morris said about a high
turnover rate at McDonald's and Sabina Iurillo said there
was a low turnover rate at McDonald's?
       A. I am sorry, there was?

  Q. Sabina Iurillo said there was a low turnover rate. You did
not mention turnover earlier on. What was your view about
       turnover, turnover of staff?
