  Q. When you were on maternity leave, what dates were they?
       A. My daughter was born on 21st March 1985, so I was off
for six months after that, so I would have returned -----

  Q. 1985?
       A. Yes. I would have returned early in 1986. I cannot
remember the exact date that he visited after my maternity
leave. I do not have the diaries. I could not tell you
       the dates.

  Q. Right. Six months after March 1985 is September or
       October 1985?
       A. That is right.

  Q. So you were at work from the winter of 85/86 onwards?
       A. That is right, in a part-time capacity.

  Q. Part-time?
       A. Part-time.

  Q. So you may not have been there when he visited in 86?
       A. I certainly was. His visits always coincided with my
being there. I was there five days a week, but for lesser
hours than I had been, following maternity leave. But
I cannot remember the precise dates that he visited the
       office, I am sorry.

  Q. OK. Do you remember if he made a visit in 87, or you do
       not remember?
       A. Well, I left early in 87, so no, again, I could not
       tell you.

  Q. You cannot remember?
       A. That is nine years ago.

  Q. OK. At the last visit which -- do you remember any visits
in 86 specifically where he said, "I am just going to check
this or check that", or if it was just a routine part of
       the routine?
       A. The routine, as he had always visited us on a routine
basis. No, there was nothing untoward.

  Q. You cannot remember anything he specifically said in a
       visit in 1986?
       A. No, I cannot.

  Q. Right. You said sometimes he looked at some aspects of the
wages payroll and sometimes at other aspects?
       A. No. He always looked at the same aspects, but he
looked at differing employees; perhaps, you know, he either
did a random check or he did a specific check.

  Q. So he might have looked at -- one visit he might have just
looked at salaried employees and gone into that, and
another visit he might have looked at the crew and gone
       into that?
       A. That is right.

  Q. You cannot remember in 1986 which one he specifically
