MS. STEEL: "...gained by simply attendance of public meetings".

MR. MORRIS: "Entry into the group is gained simply by
attendance of public meetings. These meetings are held on
the last Thursday of every month."

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I want to write that in, please. "Entry into
the group is...."

MS. STEEL: ".....gained simply by attendance of public
meetings. These meetings are held", and then it goes over
the page.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Thank you. Yes.

MR. MORRIS: Then it says: "The meetings used to be held every
Thursday at the Endsleigh Street address." All right, we
might as well read it all out.

"The meetings are held on the last Thursday of every month
at 6 Endsleigh Street."

These are the public meetings; yes?
A. Yes.

Q. Right. "......at 7.30 p.m. and every other Thursday at
their office at 5 Caledonian Road N1. The meetings used to
be held every Thursday at the Endsleigh Street address, but
hire of this room there became too expensive for this
system to continue."

So, the lack of money in the group, is that a continuing
feature?
A. I do not know that there was a lack of money in the
group. I was simply reporting something that was said to
me.

Q. Later on, you talk about people having to organise benefits
that you attended, things like that?
A. My awareness was that there was a bank account which
contained between £1,000 and £2,000, and I never really,
other than the telephone bill, saw anything that money was
spent on -- I suppose printing of leaflets and whatever
else. I never had any dealings with the financial aspects
of the group.

Q. Right. But, so far as you aware, that it was decided
discontinue meetings largely held at Endsleigh Street,
because it was too expensive to keep doing that?
A. I was reporting something that was said to me.

MR. MORRIS: Right. That is what you were told.

MS. STEEL: There is not a note in these notes of leaflets
being picked up from the stall, that I can see. You do
refer to getting a copy of a programme.
A. I do not remember if I did pick up leaflets or not.
I would be very surprised if I did not. In fact, thinking
about it, I am fairly sure I did submit leaflets with
