Day 203 - 12 Jan 96 - Page 70
30th November I mentioned Neil Skehel, an Ops Manager by
the name of Tim Taylor. Anyway, we can come to that
another time.

(To the witness): I just want to ask you about your
disciplinary record, Mr. Skehel. Have you got any
disciplinary matters on your file?
A. There is -- I am really not very happy to answer this
question.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: No, I think you should.
A. OK. There are; there is a warning, a verbal warning,
from when I was a crew member for being late, and then
there was another incident occurred.

Q. Keep your voice up.
A. Sorry?

Q. Keep your voice up, please. Another incident occurred?
A. Sorry, I was just thinking -- when I was a Senior
Supervisor. I made an unprofessional comment about a crew
member.

Q. About a?
A. Crew member or a Floor Manager.

MR. MORRIS: That is it, is it?
A. That is right, to my -- yes, that is right.

Q. Did you get a verbal warning for that second one or a
written warning or some other?
A. I think it was a formal verbal warning which is in
writing, but it is a formal verbal warning.

Q. Did Ray Coton have any disciplinary notes in his personnel
file, just that ------

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do you need to ask that because I am not
aware that he did? There was one in draft but that never
came to anything, for whatever reason. There is no need to
check, unless you have a specific purpose, I do not know of
any.

MS. STEEL: The performance reviews that are behind your
statement, if you could turn to them, please?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: It is yellow XB, divider 34C.
A. Thank you.

Q. Mr. Skehel, while you are there, do you see the very first
document is your personal history?
A. In section 34C?

Q. Immediately after your statement, two computer print-outs?
A. Yes.

Q. It suggests that you were a new starter on 11th November
1985 in Ipswich?
A. No, I was not.
