       consideration and thought?
       A. I would hope so.

  Q. So that definition there of "a healthy food being low in
fat and saturated fats, containing limited amounts of
cholesterol and sodium, and a good source of one or more of
six important nutrients", would you accept that as a
       reasonable definition of healthy food?
       A. Again, I have not seen the regulation. I am sure this
is some kind of an overview, but if they believe that that
particular definition is correct, then that would be the
definition that would be used, according to the timetable
       described.

MR. MORRIS: In your personal opinion on behalf of -- well,
       sorry----

MR. RAMPTON: No, no, no. My Lord, I am sorry. I really do
wonder where we are getting to.

MR. MORRIS: All right then. I will not ask that question.

MR. RAMPTON: The opinion of the FDA or of this witness, or of
anybody else who is not an expert giving evidence in the
court, beyond your Lordship -- and I read the Mose case,
and it was certainly illuminating -- as to what a healthy
food is or is not, is not really a useful use of court
       time.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I think you have gone as far as you can.

MR. MORRIS: Yes. I think I will accept that.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: There we are.

  MR. MORRIS: Yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I have my own idea of what is healthy and
       what is not.

MR. MORRIS: (To the witness) You are concerned with the public
health, as you have said; yes?
       A. Yes, that is correct, as I have indicated.

  Q. In your advertising code, you are concerned, are you not,
to ensure that your advertising is responsible?
       A. Yes; responsible and as truthful as possible.

  Q. There are many clauses around about different aspects of
       your advertising?
       A. That is correct.

MR. MORRIS: Are there any clauses relating specifically
       to-----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Can I just say that -- not that an aside such
as I have just delivered ought to have too much importance
attached to it, but I am quoted as saying, "I have my own
idea of what is important." My recollection is that
I said "what is healthy". This is no criticism of
