MR. JUSTICE BELL: Just pause a moment. On a very rough basis

A. Yes.

Q. I work out that if you work 24 two-weekly periods, you get

A. Yes.

Q. So if we multiply 140 or 145 by 52, we have pretty well got

A. Yes, I should say so.

Q. Just take time to think about it. Does that seem right to
you?
A. I think so, yes.

Q. So you are probably earning something like about seven and

Yes, thank you.

MR. MORRIS: Do you pay rent or have you got a mortgage?
A. No, I live at home with my parents. I just pay

Q. Is the job you have got a cushy job or do you work pretty
hard?
A. I work very hard. I consider myself to work very hard.

Q. Do people at McDonald's generally work very hard?
A. Yes, they do.

Q. I mean, crew people?

Q. Nobody else in the Bath store has guaranteed hours, have
they?
A. Well, I have not got guaranteed hours.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: He was very careful to say "set" hours when
you put "guaranteed" to him.

MR. MORRIS: OK. (To the witness): Nobody else at the Bath
store has got set hours where they have worked the same
shifts as they wanted, exactly as they have wanted, for
years and years?
A. I would say that is true, yes.
