Day 260 - 11 Jun 96 - Page 45

       A. Yes.

  Q. Was there a reason why that was not mentioned, or was it up
       to the solicitors?
       A. I did not put the statement together.

  Q. Right.
       A. It was submitted to me to sign.

  Q. OK. It was not your decision?
       A. No.

MR. MORRIS: On that page, the second page of your report ---
       A. Yes.

  Q. -- it is the middle paragraph, the bottom couple of lines,
it says -- you are talking about Andrew, and you describe
him, and at the last couple of lines, you say:

"He told me he organised the printing for the group,
although he also stated that he himself was unemployed. He
said, 'Whatever they want printed, I can get it done.'"

       Is that correct?
       A. Yes, that is correct.

  Q. Just before we move on completely to the next notes, if you
go back to your statement, paragraph 3 ---
       A. Yes.

  Q. -- if you can find it: "14th June, attended a meeting of
London Greenpeace at 5 Caledonian Road"?
       A. I am sorry?

  Q.   Sorry.  It is paragraph 3 of your supplementary statement;
it is B. It is a date that we have moved on past, really.
       A. Yes.

  Q. It is paragraph 3. "On 14th June 1990, I attended a meeting
of London Greenpeace at 5 Caledonian Road." Then the next
paragraph, you say: "On 26th July I attended a public
meeting of London Greenpeace at 6 Endsleigh Street."

You distinguish, then, between the meetings at
Caledonian Road and the public meetings at
       Endsleigh Street?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Is that the way, basically, it was viewed by the group,
that the Endsleigh Street meetings were the public ones and
       they were advertised?
       A. Yes, they were advertised, yes.

  Q. And the meetings at Caledonian Road were more for people
who wanted to get actively involved in the group?
       A. They were admin meetings for the members of the group
       specifically.

MS. STEEL: Did you have ever a gap where you did not meetings
       for six or seven weeks?
