Day 181 - 01 Nov 95 - Page 65

while I go down and see Mr. Logan on the Thursday. So, if
we could have the nutrition thing on the Friday, that would
       be .....

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I will put meaning in on Friday.

MR. MORRIS: But I do hope to have the documents in plenty of
time because otherwise we will not have time to copy them
       and read them.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: No, I will reconsider it if ......

MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, can I say about that, although your
Lordship had said at the beginning of the week starting
6th, Mrs. Brinley-Codd, by working quite a number of hours
overtime, if I may put it like that, hopes to have them
ready for service on this Friday, this coming Friday.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. Good. That is very helpful.

MR. RAMPTON: I will say no more than that. I do not want
Mr. Morris to do his usual thing of saying: "It was
promised on Friday"; in fact, it will not be, it is a hope.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I am grateful to Mrs. Brinley-Codd for that.
It looks as if anyway, Ms. Steel and Mr. Morris, if they do
not get them on Friday will get them early next week.

MR. RAMPTON: They will certainly get them on Monday if they do
not get them on Friday, and there will not be any need for
Mr. Morris to copy them because each of the defendants will
get their own mint new files containing the copies.

MR. MORRIS: We will have to copy them for Mr. Logan.

MR. RAMPTON: That is not my problem. I am not going to do
       that.

MR. MORRIS: I did not say it was your problem.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Is there anything more you want to say about
       scheduling?

MR. MORRIS: Yes, I am trying to get through it. Mr. Coton I
have put down for the 17th. I do not know if there is any
       objection to him coming?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: The only thing I was going to say, you have
obviously got to fit your witnesses in when you can get
       them.

MR. MORRIS: Yes. Mr. Coton is happy to come on the 17th.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, the only thing I was going to say, I
forget now which of the other people from -----

MR. MORRIS: It is the French witnesses.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: No, just listen for a moment. If I were
conducting your case and I had total control over my
