and a few houses in the Wellington Square.

MS. STEEL: On this second page, the first paragraph that is
there says that some of the visitors promised that they
would send their children to McDonald's on a regular basis?
       A. Right.

  Q. So you thought this party had been very good for business
       then?
       A. No, that was just a comment that some of them, they
suggested, because I was surprised personally that some of
the people never visited McDonald's. To me, it was a
surprise but they suggested that they will send their
grandchildren; it was just a comment.

  Q. The second paragraph, you say that during the dinner you
managed to persuade the presidents of the Residents
Associations to hold their meetings at McDonald's?
       A. Yes.

  Q. How did you go about that?
       A. That was, although that party never took place, but
that was discussed with Linda Wells.

  Q. They did not hold any meetings there in the end, though,
       did they?
       A. As far as I know, they did not.

  Q. Why did you want to persuade them to hold their meetings
there? Was it again a PR movement?
       A. No, again it is a communication, because you have to
keep the communication going all the time, and sometimes
the (indecipherable) change and once they change, then you
have to start building up that relationship again. But if
you see them all the time, or if they hold a meeting, the
objective was that they come and they talk to you and if
there is any problem area then we rectify that problem.

  Q. So, as far as you are concerned, the dinner party was
successful in creating a good relationship with your
       neighbours?
       A. Yes.

  Q. The Residents' Associations, I mean by that.
       A. Yes, it opened up, just to open the channel of
communication, it was a successful part of it.

  Q. The street party that is mentioned there, did that ever
       take place?
       A. I do not think so because I do not know that it did,
but as far as I know it did not.

  Q. You were still there by June of the following year, were
you not? This was 1991, so June would be June 1992?
       A. Yes, I was.

  Q. Were you under pressure from your supervisor, Mr. Jepps?
       A. Under pressure for what?

  Q. To improve performance or stop the complaints or anything
