Day 260 - 11 Jun 96 - Page 67

       A. No.

MR. MORRIS: You knew she worked for Kings but as an
       administrative assistant?
       A. I know now that she worked for Kings in an
administrative role, but at the time I did not know.

  Q. If you had put "see her report", it has to be that you know
she worked for Kings because ---
       A. No, I did not know.

  Q. -- you are saying -----
       A. The reason I said that is because she came with
       Shelley.

  Q. So, you assume that she was?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Right.
       A. I did not know.

MS. STEEL: How did you know Shelley was an agent?
       A. By that time I think I was told by Kings.

  Q. Right. When it says about Jan volunteering to do the
creche, do you remember Shelley volunteering to do the
       stage?
       A. No.

  Q. But you could not say that that did not happen?
       A. I cannot say it did not happen; I do not remember it.

  Q. Then it goes on, "Mike left early and it was after he had
gone that the meeting was disrupted by the appearance at
2200 hours outside the room of two strangers".
       A. Yes.

  Q. Then what happened, did you go on to explain what had
       happened then?
       A. I think the general consensus of opinion amongst the
people present was that they were police and this caused
some disruption, obviously. They left the building and
people went to the windows to see what they were doing
       outside.

  Q. Do you remember a discussion that they might have been
fascists attacking the building, partly because it was at
that time Lesbian and Gay Switchboard also had offices
       there?
       A. I do not remember that. I do not say that it could not
have happened, that that statement could not have been
made, but I do not recall it.

  Q. Right. At the very end of these notes you say, "There was
no sign of anyone" -- sorry, hang on, in the last paragraph
it says, "Dave Morris left at about 22.40 hours apparently
without mishap." What were you referring to there?
       A. Well, that whoever the strangers had been they were not
hanging around outside waiting to do anything to anybody in
       one form or another.
