Day 265 - 19 Jun 96 - Page 32
MR. RAMPTON: You see that box with 'McD fact sheets' on it and
the multi-sided label sticking out of it, was that box
there for most of the time that you were in and out?
A. Yes, it was.

Q. Did the multi-sided fact sheet, the leaflet complained of
in this case, did that make appearances at the Endsleigh
Street meetings as far as you can recall?
A. As far as I remember, yes, it did.

Q. How was that organised?
A. It was a monthly meeting, classified as a public
meeting, at Endsleigh Street where a room was hired, and
numerous leaflets would have been taken by a member of the
group.

Q. Would that include this leaflet?
A. Yes, it would. It would include the McDonald's.

Q. Would the whole box go?

MR. MORRIS: I hope there is no leading questions being asked
there about this subject. I have heard about six so far.

MR. RAMPTON: Would the whole box go?
A. I cannot recall.

Q. You say that a number of the group would take a number of
different leaflets at the meeting. How would the leaflets
be arranged at the meeting?
A. They would be placed in the centre of the table
available for those who wanted to, to remove them.

Q. Were they all in a lump or separated out into various
piles?
A. They were separated into piles.

Q. So would therefore there be a pile of that leaflet there,
that is by your right hand?
A. Yes, there would.

Q. And what happened to those leaflets at the meeting? I
think you have already told me but I have forgotten.
A. Those present at the public meeting would take the
leaflets that they wished to. Any remaining leaflets would
be removed by a member of the group to be taken back to the
office, or wherever, to be used another day.

Q. Do you ever remember a time while you were attending the
group's meetings in January-June 1990 when that multi-sided
leaflet was out of stock?
A. I do not.

Q. Can you turn, please, to photograph 10 where there is a
picture of three, two and-a-half, filing cabinets? Would
you look at the left-hand one. The right-hand one has got
a green on it, the left-hand one we can read the label of
the one marked '9'. It says: "McDonald's"?
A. That is correct, sir.
