Day 166 - 28 Sep 95 - Page 61

       A. Yes.

MS. STEEL: Have you had a chance to look at that?
       A. No, I have just started reading it, yes?

  Q. Do you remember seeing that at the time?
       A. Not that I can recall, no.

  Q. Do you remember anything about a change in the definition
       of "hustle"?
       A. Not really, no.

  Q. Do you ever remember being asked about how you interpreted
"hustle" or how it was used in your store or anything like
       that?
       A. By anyone in particular -- by who, sorry?

  Q. By McDonald's Head Office?
       A. No.

  Q. You do not remember any controversy about "hustle" at all
       or any questions or -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: In any context, any hassle about it?
       A. No, not really. I mean, I vaguely remember perhaps it
was not on an OCL that was reprinted. OCLs from time to
time are changed on all the stations.

MS. STEEL: That was just something you happened to notice; it
was not something that was drawn to your attention in a
       memo or anything like that?
       A. Obviously, you know, here I am, I was a Store Manager
or I was a Supervisor -- sorry, a Supervisor in that time,
so, you know, I would have received it. Whether or not
I can remember reading, you know, is what I was asked.

  Q. But you do not even remember seeing it?
       A. No.

  Q. OK. I think that is it, but if I could have a couple of
       seconds?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Take a pause.

MR. MORRIS: Just one question about when Mr. Magill says about
stock rotation in the walk in freezers where you,
presumably, moved stuff to the front of some section and
the new stuff goes at the back, is that how it works?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Are some people assigned to that kind of work? Is that a
particular kind of duty that particular people in the store
will do regularly throughout a week or throughout six
       months?
       A. Was it, you mean?

  Q. Yes. Would somebody be designated to be the sort of people
who work in the walk in freezer? That is what I am trying
       to say.
       A. Doing deliveries, I suppose you mean there. I did
