  Q. 4 till close?
       A. That is correct.

  Q. You remember Danny Olive, do you?
       A. I remember Danny Olive. I think the last time I saw
him was perhaps four or five months ago.

  Q. Do you remember he was at university?
       A. He is at Bath University doing mathematics or physics.

  Q. Did his lectures finish about 3.30?
       A. I cannot honestly remember whether he did finish at
       3.30.

  Q. You were in charge of scheduling. Did you ask him about
       when his university lectures finished?
       A. He would -- or a shift would be provided for him.

  Q. You were in charge of scheduling; yes?
       A. Yes.

  Q. So, did you inquire or did he tell you, or did you inquire
when his university lectures finished? (Pause)

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Can you remember?
       A. I cannot remember.

  Q. Can you remember whether he ever objected to being
scheduled at such and such a time because of a class with
       his lectures?
       A. No, I cannot remember him objecting to doing the
       shifts.

MR. MORRIS: Do you remember him having difficulty getting there
       by four o'clock?
       A. I remember him being late on several occasions or
sometimes not turning up to a shift.

  Q. And being late on several occasions, that may have been to
do with having difficulty getting there because of his
       university lectures; is that correct?
       A. I did not inquire as to the exact means of him arriving
late on every occasion, because I was not always on the
shift when he was, you know, when he was late.

  Q. You did not try to find out the reason he was turning up
late on several occasion, or whatever?
       A. No, I did not ascertain from him a reason.

MR. MORRIS: Can I ask for a bit of guidance here? As far as
we know, Mr. Olive is prepared to verify his statement.
I have not spoken to him myself directly yet. In the light
of that, presumably, how does that leave the substance of
       his letter?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: He is just another potential witness, as
anyone else is. I mean, it is some time now since you were
able to give the further notes to Mr. Logan's evidence, and
I assumed that you had turned your mind to who, if anyone,
