Day 204 - 15 Jan 96 - Page 54

and I said I would like you to tell me who you did want to
be recalled or who you wanted to call at the beginning of
this term. I notice that number (9) on your list of
matters is meaning of nutrition, section of fact sheet. As
far as I am concerned, I have given a ruling which is final
so far as I am concerned on that, but I will hear anything
you want to say to me about that.

MS. STEEL: That was just with reference to the business about
the drafting of an order. That is all.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, I understand the order has been sealed
today and I hope you both have been given copies of it ---

  MR. MORRIS: Yes, we have.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: -- or Mrs. Slaney will arrange that you do
have copies. I have got the child labour violations, or
alleged ones, citations and Mr. Stein to Congress. You
       have that on your list.

MR. MORRIS: That is dealt with in this list, yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I have got interrogatories concerning Brazil.
You have got that on your list. I had discovery of any
notes about Ray Coton's resignation meetings. We talked
about that the other day and I have now crossed that off
       your list.

  MR. MORRIS: Yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: There was the question of Mr. Fairgrieve's
documents and you told me last term you received a letter
about that from Mrs. Brinley-Codd. We have got the
timetable which Mr. Rampton handed in the other day and you
have got item 8 scheduled discussions. So I do not think
there is anything on my list which you have missed out.

MR. MORRIS: It seems to me as if this would be achievable
within a day, so I would prefer if we did this on Wednesday
rather than come in on Wednesday and go home at half past
       11, or something.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Has anyone fixed matters for Thursday? The
only reason I say that is that if it were vital, and if
people have not committed themselves, I could sit for a
large part of Thursday morning, in fact.

MR. RAMPTON: Well, yes, as a matter of fact, because we thought
your Lordship was not going to be sitting,
Mrs. Brinley-Codd and I have, in fact, engaged ourselves to
go out of London on the Thursday.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do not say any more about that.

MR. RAMPTON: I will not say where.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: No. It was just a thought.

We will get on with these matters on Wednesday then. In
