Day 291 - 31 Oct 96 - Page 43
evidence of the fact that it is highly likely that
conditions are a lot worse than at the time when
Dr. Gregory was making his observations.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You gave it to me before, but give me the
reference again.

MS. STEEL: 61, 42, 51. I mean, the people from McDonald's
make such infrequent visits, and apparently do not take
much notice of the fact that, for example, goads are being
used, when it is contrary to policy; that, effectively,
they are just allowing the suppliers to get on with it, do
what they like.

I think that is it.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Thank you. We will resume at 10.30 in the
morning with Mr. Morris addressing me on recycling and
waste. Do come back with -- I say a schedule -- but having
thought about how long you anticipate taking on each
subject. You need not at this stage say the order. It
would be helpful if I knew who primarily is going to deal
with it, and say how much time you think we will need.
I would particularly like to know how long Mr. Morris
expected to take on recycling and waste, because as he
develops his submissions I will be able to see how
realistic his estimate is, in fact.
