THE WITNESS: Oh, the previous page 387?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: The previous page, yes.
A. Yes. I was going to say that we will, I think
I mentioned earlier, these will evolve. We may change a
word here or a word there. The thrust of it is exactly the
same, but as we -- in our organisation, we believe in
continuous improvement and, frankly, we are never satisfied
with where we are at. We try to improve things. So,
obviously, there was something in here that we wanted to
make even clearer, and we would have amended it at that
time.

Mr. Rampton, I do not know if I had answered your
question? This is not something that is produced by public
relations. This is not for that purpose.

MR. RAMPTON: Is this produced by your department?
A. Yes, it is. I am intimately involved in this.

Q. These all probably post date your appointment as Senior
Vice President. The first one is dated July 1990; the next
one, as his Lordship observes, is a revision in November
1990; the last one, I am afraid, I cannot tell. Would you
look at the words of these before they were disseminated
amongst the workers?
A. Yes, I do.

Q. If there is anything you personally thought was wrong, you
would change it, would you?
A. Absolutely.

Q. Can I ask you to fetch yellow X?
A. It is called "Employment"?

Q. It is called "Employment" and it is a collection of witness
statements. I am going to ask you to find your witness
statement, your first witness statement made for these
proceedings, which, I think, is at tab 4?
A. Page 50 at the bottom?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes it is.

MR. RAMPTON: Behind that you should find some documents which
you have sent us at least in all but one case from
Oak Brook, I think. They should be numbered A, B, C, D1,
D2 and E. I am not going to ask you any questions about
them at all in detail. Is the first one a franchise
agreement, licence agreement?
A. I generally recognise it as that. It is.

Q. To which the parties are expressed to be the Corporation
and somebody called Pantry Franchise, Ireland, Limited ---
A. Oh, yes.

Q. -- is that right?
A. Yes.

Q. Turn over the whole of that document, its last page is page
