Day 014 - 20 Jul 94 - Page 76
1 day that we might sit at 10 tomorrow since it is a short
day.
2
MR. JUSTICE BELL: What is the earliest you can get here? Is
3 it possible to make some special arrangement for one
morning so we can start a bit earlier?
4
MR. MORRIS: I can get here at 10 tomorrow.
5
MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do your best to get here at 10. We will
6 start as soon as you arrive.
A. Can I ask if I am likely to be needed on Friday?
7
MR. JUSTICE BELL: You may be. The only question is if we are
8 going to finish at a quarter to 3, whether we could get by
tomorrow having an earlier and shorter break.
9 Mr. Rampton, what I have in mind is if we start at 10 we
might break off at half past 12 or just before that, take
10 perhaps just under an hour for the break and then we do
something close to an hour and a half in the afternoon.
11 Do you have any comment on that?
12 MR. MORRIS: No.
13 MS. STEEL: That is OK, yes.
14 MR. JUSTICE BELL: But it will be subject to where we have got
to. The other thing, Mr. Morris, I have a letter, no
15 doubt, to add to the correspondence bundle, dated 22.6.94.
It has "continued" on the bottom but I have just one
16 sheet. So if it is important I will just leave it on the
side there and someone could give me the second page.
17
MS. STEEL: Did you say the 22nd of the 6th?
18
MR. JUSTICE BELL: 22.6.94, re: Documents.
19
MR. RAMPTON: It came from Mrs. Brinley-Codd's file.
20
MR. JUSTICE BELL: I will put it on the side table and if there
21 is more perhaps it could be added. We will resume as soon
after 10 o'clock as we can in the morning.
