rejection?
A. If they saw that they would certainly reject it, yes.

Q. Has that ever been reported to you or come to your
knowledge?
A. On delivery of product, no.

Q. So the mould on buns problem -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What problem?

MR. MORRIS: I am going to ask.

MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, I am looking at the abstract. Leaving
aside ----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I am turning that up now.

MR. RAMPTON: I invite your Lordship's attention to tab 5 and,
in particular, to page 6 and the Answer to the Request for
Particulars. Leaving aside foreign bodies which I have
argued previously have nothing to do with food poisoning
anyway, we are confined to meat and in particular to

MR. MORRIS: The mould on buns problem has been identified by

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Would you refer me to them, please, in
relation to food poisoning?

MR. MORRIS: Well, it is our employment witnesses who have
identified it.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: But in relation to food poisoning.

MS. STEEL: It is all about hygiene.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I appreciate that, but I want it so that
I can read it as an allegation of food poisoning.
I appreciate when we talk about sewage on kitchen floors
and sweeping it outside, if it is an employment witness's
statement, I can understand that.

MR. MORRIS: In our employment witness's statement No. 14, Anne
Tobin.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Just read from it because my bundle is in my
room.

MR. MORRIS: For example, there are two paragraphs which may be
relevant that I can see immediately: "At the Strand store
while working on the Big Mac dressings I observed that the
lettuce supplied to me was in poor condition, going brown
at the edges and very soggy. I pointed this out to the
grill team leader who shrugged, 'It is often like that, get
on with in.' The whole bag of rotting lettuce was used up
in the Big Macs. On another occasion, also in the strand
Store, I was passed a tray of toasted buns to dress. At
