Day 274 - 04 Jul 96 - Page 30

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Were the names of the people who were there
always written down in the minutes?
       A. I mean, it would depend on who was taking the minutes,
but yes. I mean, that was the idea, everyone's name should
       be written down.

MR. MORRIS: If someone turned up at the end of a meeting, would
the introductions - it is an obvious question - would the
introductions have been completed before then?
       A. Yes, yes, of course.

MR. MORRIS: No further questions, thank you.

                 Cross-examined by MR. RAMPTON

  Q. Miss Laporte, you do not know where the minute book has
       gone, do you?
       A. I have got no idea. I have not been involved in the
group for quite a few years.

  Q. When did you leave the group?
       A. It was about October 1990. I started doing my A
levels. Well, went back to doing my A levels.

  Q. This is not just a question born of idle curiosity. How
old were you in 1989 and 1990?
       A. I was 18/19.

  Q. You said you did not see Mr. Morris between about August
1989 and 1st March 1990 in connection with London
       Greenpeace activities. Is that right?
       A. Well, Mr. Morris told me that I had -- I had not,
according to the notes, I had not seen him at any
meetings. I mean, I saw him at the fayre.

  Q. Yes, he was at the fayre on 21st October 1989 and he was
there all day, was he not?
       A. I saw him. I do not recall exactly what I was doing,
but I saw him intermittently during the day maybe.

  Q. Yes. Can I ask you, have you got the bundle of the agent's
notes there, the file, the blue one?
       A. This one here?

  Q. Can you turn please to near the front. It is page 19.

MR. MORRIS: Can we have the names and dates?

MR. RAMPTON: Page 19. It is some notes by Mr. Pocklington of a
meeting at 6 Endsleigh Street on 26th October 1989. It
runs through to page 18. Did I say 16? I hope I did.
There are two sets. That is why I made the mistake. It is
best to start at page 16, Miss Laporte, I am sorry. Do you
have that? Your name is not here, but then there is only
one name here, I think, which is that of Paul Gravett --
oh, sorry, and Albert and then Albert does not reappear
until September the following year. Do you remember
whether you were at that meeting?
       A. I cannot say specifically, because, I mean, my name is
not down here in Anthony's notes, but, I mean, I do not
