MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, the final thing is this: We have been
given Mr. Atkinson has now looked at some documents
relating to Jarret in the west country; a small part of
them are McKey's documents, most of them are Jarret
documents. What I propose to do, if I may, is to disclose
or serve them now in case the Defendants should want to ask
Mr. Walker any questions about them on Monday.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.

MR. MORRIS: It is fortunate that he is coming back on Monday
then.

MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, we will have, if we may, a copy of the
Crush v. New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation for your
Lordship on Monday, if that will be soon enough, or do you
want us to send it over to you this evening? We can do
that too. I have a copy in chambers. I just cannot find
it at the moment.

MS. STEEL: What is that one about?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: That was Crush v. The New Zealand
Broadcasting Corporation which is a case which Mr. Rampton
has mentioned on more than one occasion. How many copies
do you have?

MR. RAMPTON: I can make as many as necessary. I do not have
any here in court, that is the trouble. If could I find my
old file which I used on the occasion of previous
arguments, I would be able to produce a copy now because
I think that was in it, but I cannot find it. It must be
in chambers.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What I would like is if you can hand to
Mr. Stiles a copy first thing on Monday morning and a copy
each for Ms. Steel and Mr. Morris.

MR. RAMPTON: It is not a difficult case to digest.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: It has never actually been read because
Mr. Rampton, I think some 15 months ago now, referred to it
as authority for a proposition which I said I did not think
needed any authority save that of common sense. 15 months
later I think I ought to read it, so I have asked for a
copy of it.

MS. STEEL: Right, OK.
