Day 267 - 21 Jun 96 - Page 60

MS. STEEL: I thought he said that he may have been. I thought
that is what he said a few minutes ago, that he may have
       been involved with it.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Why ask about it again?

MS. STEEL: Because I am about to ask another question.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Ask about that.

MS. STEEL: (To the witness): The writ was served in the name
of Webster. Did you not say anything about that at the
time, "That is not her right name"?
       A. From recollection there were five writs or six that
needed to be served. It was sometime ago. I cannot recall
what names they were in. My involvement was to help to
identify those that needed to be served, and I cannot
recall where I was at what time on what day.

  Q. Were you involved in serving a writ on Mr. Morris at the
Unwaged Centre on West Green Road?
       A. I do not recall.

  Q. Do you ever remember seeing the Unwaged Centre in West
       Green Road?
       A. I remember the Unwaged Centre in West Green Road, yes.

  Q. So, you did visit that on some occasion?
       A. I would have been there, yes, at least once.

  Q. What, inside?
       A. No.

  Q. Observing it?
       A. I would have driven past it. I recall it. How I
recall it I cannot remember, but I recall the building.

  Q. It is the one where Mr. Morris is sticking out of the
doorway in the photographs which were used by you to
identify Mr. Morris. Do you know anything about who took
       that photograph?
       A. I have no idea who took the photograph.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do you have any more questions about the
       photographs?

MS. STEEL: I do not know. I was just checking.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: We will have the five minute break there. It
will give you an opportunity to check. I am going to put a
limit on your further cross-examination, Ms. Steel and Mr.
Morris, to one o'clock on Monday. That will mean that,
even if we allow something like half-an-hour for any
procedural discussions on Monday, you will have about two
hours on Monday and a further hour this afternoon. You
must organise the rest of your cross-examination so you put
that which has to be put to this witness. It will have
meant that you will have had at least a day and a half,
probably more if I add it up, to cross-examine him, and an
