present, and I have got no reason to disbelieve what I have
       written.

  Q. You would not have written that down if there had only been
       two people at the meeting?
       A. No.

  Q. Right. OK. Nothing else on that date. If we move on to
       10th May. This is a meeting -----

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: 16.

MS. STEEL: This is a meeting at Caledonian Road.

"By 9.10 p.m., present were Paul Gravett, Andrew Clarke,
Alan and myself, also two postgraduate students who were
making a documentary about anarchism for their documentary
       course at Goldsmith College."

Then you go on to say, lower down:

"There was no meeting this week as the time was taken up
with filming of the video in which Paul spoke in general
terms about anarchism. At 10.20 Alan left to go home."

       You confirm that, do you?
       A. Yes, I do.

  Q. So, there was not anything discussed about McDonald's at
       this meeting?
       A. Not that I am aware; not that I noted.

  Q. Then, in the pub afterwards, Paul, Andrew, and yourself
went to the Queen's Arms Public House and nothing of
relevance was discussed, although you managed to find out
       Mr. Clarke's present address, or something to that effect;
       yes?
       A. Yes, yes.

  Q. If we move on to 24th May, this is a meeting at
Caledonian Road. You were let in by Jonathan; and then:
"By 7.50 p.m., we were joined by a man calling himself
'Paul'" -- and that is in inverted commas. Why is that?
       A. I presume because I was not sure that was his name, but
that is what he called himself.

  Q. So you were suspicious of him, that he was not who he said
       he was?
       A. Not necessarily, no.

  Q. Did you know who he was ---
       A. I have -----

  Q. -- at that time?
       A. No, I do not know. I do not know who he is now.

  Q. It is Brian Bishop.
       A. Right. I did not know Brian Bishop at that time.

  Q. But you, presumably, were not convinced that he was really
