MS. STEEL: It would help me if we had a little bit more
because there was a bit that I missed out during the
       examination-in-chief.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I will come back at five to.

MR. MORRIS: Can the witness be asked not to talk to anybody
       while she is giving evidence?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, do not talk to anyone about your
evidence unless I expressly say that you can, do you
       understand?
       A. Yes. I can still talk to Michelle, right?

  Q. Yes, of course you can but do not talk about the evidence
you have given or anything that she may be asked.
       A. OK.

                      (Short adjournment)

MR. MORRIS: I cannot remember if you said amongst your
       responsibilities, current responsibilities ---
       A. As a Swing Manager?

  Q. -- as a Swing Manager, yes, do you sometimes phone people
up to see if they can come into work?
       A. Yes.

  Q. When you need them?
       A. Yes, when somebody else calls in sick or -----

  Q. What happens if you cannot get anyone?
       A. I have never had that happen.

  Q. Right. Do you always get someone straightaway or do you
sometimes have to phone them again?
       A. Oh, no. Usually, I -- we have a phone book with all
the employees' names, so I just I call the people who are
asking for hours first, and then if all of them are either
not at home or cannot work the shift, then I just start at
the beginning of the book with the As and I start calling
that way, but usually I always end up getting someone.
Like, I have never had -----

  Q. Do you have to phone someone twice and say: "I have phoned
everyone else and they all cannot do it, can you really
       come in?"
       A. No.

  Q. You have never had to do that?
       A. No.

  Q. So when you said that you did not get enough hours and,
therefore, had to get a second job at one time, you said
other people got seconds job, do other people also feel
they do not get enough hours?
       A. Most people are just trying to work as many hours as
they can so they can save for whatever. I mean, some
people work eight hours during the day and then, you know,
