Day 140 - 22 Jun 95 - Page 54
level job.

Q. He is a high flyer, is he, a man who is doing very well
within the Corporation?
A. Yes he is, my Lord.

MS. STEEL: If you could turn to tab 87, please. This is a
letter to you dated December 6th, 1990 from the Office of
Justice.
A. I have not seen this for a while.

Q. Is that your writing on the right-hand side?
A. No, it is not. You could not possibly read my writing
if it was mine, and I cannot do much better with this.

MR. MORRIS: Just on that, what it says, at the bottom is
something about Stephanie Skirtey. Is that from
McDonald's, yes?
A. It looks like "Stephanie Skirtey", who is an employee
of McDonald's, a black female.

Q. "Feels they owe a debt to PUP"?
A. Yes.

MS. STEEL: What was this letter about? You were meeting with
some shareholders?
A. I referred to this earlier. This is Sister Marie Lucy.
Sister Marie wanted to meet with me and we had arranged for
a meeting and she was sending me a confirming letter
indicating who would be there, and I guess there are some
procedures for getting into the building where they are
located in New York so I would know what I needed to do
when I got to the building.

MR. MORRIS: Did you know these shareholders, stockholders
planned a resolution for McDonald's shareholders' meeting,
did they not?
A. They indicated that they were thinking of doing a
shareholders' proposal; they did not do a shareholders'
proposal.

Q. When would that shareholders' proposal have come up?
A. It would have come up at this time and that is why they
were looking into the matter because they had some concerns
and they wanted to meet with us, meet with McDonald's, and
it turned out to be me, to review the facts as they related
to Philadelphia because if they were not satisfied, they
would then develop it into a shareholder proposal.

Q. If they wanted to?
A. Yes. The Sister by the way, if you would like me to
complete the matter, did come, as she apparently has come
in the past to the shareholder meeting, no proposal and
spoke directly to Mr. Quinlan and told him she was pleased
with how McDonald's had handled the matter and what had
transpired.

Q. When would the shareholders' meeting have been?
A. It would have been May of 1991. I believe it was
either 91 or 92 when she came.
