Q. Do you see the words "Overview" underneath the details at

A. Yes.

Q. "The Store Manager is responsible for the overall
direction of the management and crew in order to achieve
optimum long-term sales and profit. The job divides into
the following major areas: Quality service and
cleanliness, sales, profit, people, administration,
special goals. There is obvious overlap between these
areas and sometimes goals within one may cause problems
within another. The Manager's job is to maintain proper
balance, perspective and overall direction". Do you agree
that that is an appropriate description of the Manager's
task in a McDonald's restaurant?
A. I cannot argue with what is written down there, no.

Q. Do you agree it is appropriate to what you understood to

Q. You do agree? Do you agree that all those measures cost
money?
A. Of course.

A. They are.

Q. The more Managers you have, whether they be Trainee
Managers, Floor Managers, Second Assistants or whatever,
the more money it costs. Do you agree?
A. It depends what grades they are.

A. They are, yes.
