       professionally active?
       A. Yes.

  Q. And you went to the pub for that purpose, to continue your
investigations, or just for a drink?
       A. To continue investigations and, obviously, to reinforce
my attendance at groups, I suppose.

  Q. Way back at the very first meeting you went to -- not the
London Greenpeace one, but the other one -- you said that
Paul Gravett stated that London Greenpeace was a collection
of individuals. Would you say that was a fairly good
       description?
       A. That London Greenpeace was a collection of
       individuals?

  Q. Yes.
       A. Yes.

MS. STEEL: If we just move on to 25th January.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Just pause a moment. We will take our five
       minutes now.

                         (Short Adjournment)

MS. STEEL: Have you got the notes of 25th January?
       A. I have, yes.

  Q. It is a meeting at Endsleigh Street. Paul Gravett,
Helen Steel, Andrew Clarke, John, Jonathan, Mo, Dave and
Marion are down as being present; yes?
       A. That is correct, yes.

  Q. It talks about Paul Gravett writing a pamphlet again?
       A. Yes, that is correct.

  Q. He says that it may not be ready by October 1990 -- no, it
may be ready by October 1990, but there is no guarantee
       about that; yes?
       A. That is correct, yes.

  Q. Then it says in the next paragraph:

"The anti-McDonald's fair is not to be repeated. But,
however, this year the plan is to hold a general fair in
which all the issues with which this group are concerned,
including McDonald's issue, will be highlighted."

The date was set for 27th October. You cannot remember
about any input from anybody else?
       A. I do not know. My recollection is that it was a
       general feeling of the group.

  Q. You do not remember that Paul was still in favour of it
being the anti-McDonald's fair, and that other people
either did not want it, or -----
       A. I do not remember that specifically, no.

MS. STEEL: If you get your statement and turn to -- the first
