Day 265 - 19 Jun 96 - Page 64

       A. On occasions.

  Q. A quick meeting and we would just have a little bits and
pieces going on. Some people answering letters, some
       people just chatting?
       A. On occasion it could be said it was not a formal
       meeting, yes.

  Q. So it is possible, if what you are saying is true that
somebody there at that meeting said something to you about
me which I did not overhear?
       A.   It either came from what you said, what you portrayed;
what somebody else said. I do not recall.

  Q. But you do not remember if I would have overheard
everything that was said that evening?
       A. I do not think you did. I do not recall.

  Q. No. Did your subsequent contacts with me reinforce the
impressions or change your impressions that you say you got
       from that meeting?
       A. I would have to look at my notes.

  Q. You cannot remember?
       A. If I have made reference to it in my notes that would
have been the case, but --

  Q. So you cannot remember even seeing me again apart from that
       meeting?
       A. I would have seen you again, yes.

  Q. At what, one of these meetings?
       A. Probably. I do not recall, but I am sure I would have
seen you again after that date.

  Q. In what circumstances would you have seen me again if not
       at one of these meetings?
       A. I was involved in -- when I was pulled out -- in
identifying you and others for the service of writs.

  Q. Did you see me again?
       A. I believe I may have done. I cannot recall.

  Q. I think I had better ask you about that then. You were
attempting to find out my movements, were you, around
       September 1990?
       A. I was asked to help to locate you and others for the
service of writs following my termination of when I was
       pulled out.

  Q. You did not actually serve the writs yourself?
       A. No, I did not.

  Q. So did you actually meet me?
       A. Sorry?

  Q. Did you actually meet me at that time?
       A. I do not recall. I may have done. I do not recall.

  Q. Did you see me at any other London Greenpeace meetings?
