Day 203 - 12 Jan 96 - Page 40

  Q. Did you speak to your superiors about this incident with
       docking of hours?
       A. Yes. It says that in my statement. It says in my
statement that I spoke to John Atherton about it and that
I spoke to the Human Resources department about it.

  Q. What about Mike Guerin; did you speak to him about it?
       A. No. I would not be in regular contact with Mike Guerin
       about anything.

  Q. Did John Atherton mention to you about it having happened
previously, or was it just the crew that told you about
       that?
       A. I do not think John did. I think it just came from the
crew. It would have been me feeding information upwards,
probably. But I do not think John did, no.

  Q. Were you told how the previous incident had been resolved?
       A. I cannot remember, but I would have looked into it and
       resolved it.

  Q. I thought you said that it had been resolved?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: There is a misunderstanding. Ask the
       question again.

THE WITNESS: I cannot remember whether it had been resolved or
not; and all I can remember was that an incident came up,
I looked into it, and either we resolved it or it had been
resolved. I cannot remember exactly what the case was, but
       it went no further.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: This is the earlier matter, is it?
       A. Yes. You know, it is difficult. I can picture
Tracey Milleine sitting in front of me now in the room, but
whether or not that took place or not, I cannot say. I
mean, I know her, I know what she looks like, I know her
very well. So it would be easy for me to conjure up an
image of her sitting in the room in front of me, but it may
be also misleading for me to say that that exactly
       occurred.

  Q. Who did your information that there had been a previous
incident but it had been cleared up come from; can you
       remember that?
       A. One of, or some of the crew that I interviewed --
because I think several of them mentioned that there was
       this earlier incident.

MS. STEEL: You said shortly after Sally Spurgeon went to the
Leisure World. Was her position exactly the same at the
Leisure World store, or did she get promotion?
       A. Are you referring to my statement?

  Q. No, I am referring to what you said, I do not know, about
       quarter of an hour ago.
       A. OK, fine. Did her position remain the same? Yes,
I believe she remained -- in fact, I think she went to
       Tolgate, is what I said.
