Day 277 - 10 Jul 96 - Page 34

  Q. Administered on behalf of the plaintiffs?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Yes. My Lord, I will do, do if I may, is pass up copies on
which somebody on the defendant's side has written in
answers because that makes it a lot easier than going back
and fore. My Lord, I took these from the defendant's Court
of Appeal bundle. There is one for Mr. Morris, one for my
Lord. Just before I ask you to look at that, can you look
at photograph No. 10 in the Alan Clare photographs, please?
       A. Yes.

  Q. And we are right, are we not, that the top drawer in the
brown filing cabinet is entitled McDonald's; is it not?
       A. That is right, yes.

  Q. And on top of the white filing cabinet there seems to be
some more of those anti-McDonald's posters, do you agree,
       on the right hand side?
       A. Could be.

  Q. One thinks one can see Miss Steel, the 'M''s going down the
       side and the hamburger?
       A. Where are you talking about actually? Are you talking
       about on the left?

  Q. You see the figure 11?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Above that?
       A. Yes, it does look like those are the--

  Q. It does, does it not?
       A. Well, it does look like there is at least one poster
there. I mean I, cannot say what is underneath.

  Q. We can argue about that later. Behind the upturned jam
jar, or whatever it is, there is another piece of
anti-McDonald's literature, is there not; you see the 'M''s
       on?
       A. Well, I can see an 'M' on it, yes.

  Q. Right. Tell me, what was in the McDonald's drawer?
       A. From what I recall of it, it was just anything,
reference stuff about McDonald's, anything really to do
with anything the group had about McDonald's, letters that
       had been sent in.

  Q. Can you then now, please, have a look at the
interrogatories? Do you agree when I said just now that
somebody on your side has written in the answers that were
       given; is that right?
       A. It is my writing.

  Q. It is. There you go. Can you look at interrogatory 8,
please; it is on the second page?
       A. Yes.

  Q. The question was: "Did not the offices of London Greenpeace
in 1989 and/or 1990 contain a filing cabinet devoted to
