MR. JUSTICE BELL: Was who?
A. Jack Russell.

MS. STEEL: How did you become aware of that?
A. After this length of time it is difficult to say.
I should imagine it was discussed after my involvement when
the case was finished.

Q. Right. Do you know how many meetings he attended?
A. Personally, I only ever saw him at one.

Q. You saw him at a meeting?
A. I later discovered. I did not know at the time who he
was. I reported him as being at the meeting, and after my
involvement was finished I was told that I had reported on
him.

Q. Is that the same as what happened with Jan and Shelley?
The first meeting, you mention their names, and then you
were told that they were working for Kings, as well?
A. Yes. I did not know about either of them until right
towards the very end of the operation. But when I first
met -- I do not recall meeting Jan more than a couple of
times; and certainly Shelley, I reported on her as being a
member of the group that I was a bit suspicious about.

Q. She was quite keen?
A. Yes. I said she was a bit too keen.

Q. She was getting very involved in the activities that
the -----
A. The reason I said that I thought she was too keen was
because she was wearing jeans that had obviously been cut
with a pair of scissors as opposed to being worn, and
I thought this was a bit too obvious.

Q. But she was enthusiastic about what the group was doing and
she was participating in that?
A. She seems to be an enthusiastic person in general, yes.

Q. You were aware -- I mean, you mentioned about Jan
volunteering to do the creche at the fair; you were aware
of Shelley volunteering to help with parts of the
organisation, as well?
A. No. I do not know what Shelley's actual involvement
was. The only reason I knew that Jan had volunteered to do
that was because I was there at that particular meeting.

Q. You did not go to the fair?
A. No.

Q. So you do not know what happened there, or anything like
that?
A. No.

MR. MORRIS: You said you only saw Jack Russell at one meeting?
A. I did, yes.

Q. But did he say how many meetings he had been to,
