       actually asking the witness?

MR. MORRIS: Well, the question is were there lots of very
varied leaflets being distributed in different parts of the
       country including London?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Right.
       A. I mean, it is important to get away from the idea of
thinking that the only leaflets in distribution were the
fact sheets or even the fact sheet and the A5 London
Greenpeace leaflet. They were not. The vast majority were
what local groups themselves were putting out.

  Q. Right. Might that be a good time to stop? We still have a
few questions which will not take too much longer after
       lunch.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. Mr. Gravett, it was at one time hoped
you would finish your evidence today. That seems to me to
be extremely unlikely and I am very keen that your evidence
       continue until it is finished.
       A. Yes.

  Q. So I would like you to be prepared to come back tomorrow,
and I say that now in case you have to make any phone
calls. You have the midday adjournment to do that. We
       will resume at 2 o'clock.

                       (Luncheon adjournment)

MS. STEEL: The bundle that you had out before.
       A. The pink one?

  Q. Yes, that is the one.
       A. Publication?

  Q. Yes. If you turn to, I think it is, tab 68.
       A. Yes.

  Q. It should be headed the Mclibel 5 Support Campaign?
       A. That is right.

  Q. Have you seen this leaflet before?
       A. Yes, I wrote it.

  Q. Do you remember how you came to write it and why you wrote
       it?
       A. Well, we were served with the writs in September. I
       think it was the 21st.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Pardon? Do keep your voice up. Remember the
       microphone does not help.
       A. Yes.

  Q. Obviously, you have got to look down at what you are....
       A. Yes.

  Q. If you can read it with it up on top, I would.
       A. It is a bit difficult doing that, but I will keep my
