Day 274 - 04 Jul 96 - Page 20

  Q. Right. Do you remember which leaflet he referred to?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Just where are you looking for that?

MS. STEEL: The top of page 116B.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, but is it the first page? My numbering
is slightly different here. Is it the first page of the
       notes?

MS. STEEL: Actually, it has got a little 3 in the top right
       hand corner?
       A. But it is actually the second page.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: 116B it is for me. But never mind.

MS. STEEL: That is what I said.
       A. That is right, yes.

MS. STEEL: I was on page 116D and then I went back to B. I am
sorry if I did not make that clear.
       A. Yes, I remember the conversation. I mean, I cannot be
sure but I am pretty sure that he said it was the A5
McDonald's leaflet, but that is the assumption that I made
at the time. I do not know whether he actually said that
or not, but that is certainly my recollection just because
that would be the most likely leaflet he would be shown
outside of the group. He seemed quite interested and on
the basis of that leaflet, decided to come along to one of
our meetings and stayed for a considerable amount of time.

  Q. On page 116D there is a reference in the third paragraph.
It says, "The young stockily built man, who I think we know
as Anthony, told the meeting of what had happened at the
last meeting the previous week. A film crew from Goldsmith
College making a documentary about anarchism had arrived
and spent some time filming Paul Gravett as a spokesman for
such a group. It was pointed out that the views expressed
by him were his own and not those of the group in general.
This seemed to be important to several of those present."
       A. I would agree with that last statement, yes.

  Q. Right. Do you remember who said it? If you do not it does
       not matter.
       A. I do not remember specifically but that would have been
       said at the meeting.

  Q. It does not surprise you?
       A. No, well, Paul Gravett would not be a spokesman that
must be -- well, either Brian Bishop has used that term or
maybe Anthony used the term in describing it.

  Q. We will move on. Just on the subject of Mr. Bishop, do you
remember him attending the antipoll tax rally on 16th June
1990 or a mini-fayre in Finsbury Park and being on the
       stall at the George Roby?
       A. I cannot say I specifically remember him attending the
rally because I think I only turned up right at the very
end. But I definitely remember him in the George Roby
