Day 270 - 28 Jun 96 - Page 49

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.

MS. STEEL: Obviously, based on the notes that we have got, we
did not want to have him recalled. However, there was
another set of notes for 17th May, 1990 which I asked
Mrs. Brinley-Codd about because Mr. Pocklington was at that
meeting and we have not had the notes of that meeting yet.
So, obviously, I would like to know what has happened about
       that.

MR. RAMPTON: Mrs. Homer has nodded, my Lord, because she has
got them here. Anyhow, we will attend to that.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Anyway, a copy of those notes is going to be
       given to Ms. Steel?

MR. RAMPTON: Yes. There is no worry about that.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: We have still got an open end with regard to
Mr. Pocklington then. What I suggest is, let Mr. Bishop
come back, as he is being recalled, on a date which is
passably convenient to him, but make sure you have the
documents you need to ask him questions on that point in
court, so that if he just turns up at very short notice you
will be ready to go. You can always borrow someone else's
if you get caught out, but it is much better if you have
       your own.

  MS. STEEL: Right.

MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, I have got them now actually, if I may
       hand them over.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Let them be handed over now, but do not let
us stop to look at them now.

What I will do is I will take the five minute break there.
I suggest you have the transcript of this afternoon's
proceedings up to this break and the five minute break will
enable you to get your statements to be read back in order.

                        (Short adjournment)

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. What are you going to deal with first?

MR. MORRIS: I will tell you which one I was going to do, I was
going to do the US video matters, but I have just
discovered that I have got the original disclosed sections
of the transcript which actually missed out quite a lot of
       stuff.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Go on to one of the others.

MR. MORRIS: So there was a second disclosed, we to have the
       original video.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do that on another day if you cannot do it
now. If you can, do it now.
