Day 272 - 02 Jul 96 - Page 31

There was just a single A5.

  Q. This is in the previous years '89, '88, '87?
       A. Yes. There was a single A5 leaflet especially written
for the international mail out, as far as I remember,
discussing the campaigns the group ran.

  Q. Right.
       A. Which mentioned the anti-McDonald's campaign, but
there was no specific anti-McDonald's leaflet in it.

  Q. If we move on to 19th July. This is the notes of Frances
       Tiller.
       A. What page are they?

  Q. Well, I do not know what page it is. This is the recent
disclosed notes of Frances Tiller, 19th July.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I have them at 154N. They in actual fact
have F.M. Davidson because that was her single name.

MR. MORRIS: Right. Do you have those now?
       A. Yes.

  Q. At the bottom of page it says:

"Dave spoke of his tireless dedication to the preparation
and distribution of leaflets regarding the anti-poll tax
       movement."
       A. Yes.

  Q. Do you have any comment about that?
       A. Yes. I mean, that, I would say, was to be your main
involvement in the year in 1990, definitely, was the
       anti-poll tax campaign.

  Q. My main involvement in --
       A. Political campaigning. That was it, the anti-poll tax
campaign was your thing, yes, definitely, definitely
that. You were part of the Haringey anti-poll tax union
and the Trafalgar Square defendants campaign.

  Q. In terms of what I had been bringing up at meetings since
       you joined the group --
       A. Yes.

  Q. You said my attendance was tailing off?
       A. Yes.

  Q. And I was not involved in any anti-McDonald's activities.
What sort of things did I bring up?
       A. Well, I would say, as far as I can remember, when you
used to come along to meetings you talked mainly about
local things you had been doing in your own area and you
very strongly felt that London Greenpeace should become
more of a local based group, community neighbourhood
group. You were doing things like the claimants union and
the Tottenham on wage centre in your area.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Keep your voice up please.
