Day 185 - 07 Nov 95 - Page 40
Swing Manager at McDonald's, having achieved that position
in August 1994?
A. Yes, I am.

Q. Are you going to go to college?
A. I plan to in the next two or three years.

Q. In?
A. Next two or three years I plan to go.

Q. What do you think you would like to do when you go to
college?
A. I am not sure yet. That is why I am going to wait for
a couple of years to figure out what I want to do.

Q. Do you think you will go on working at McDonald's in the
meantime?
A. Yes, I do.

Q. How does a person pay for their college education in
Canada?
A. How?

Q. How, yes.
A. Well, the way I understand it, if you cannot afford to,
like, if you, yourself, or your parents cannot, you can
apply for student assistance, through the government, and
they will pay for it, and then you pay it back after you
find a job.

Q. After -----
A. It comes off your pay cheques.

Q. Are you intending to try and pay for your own college
education?
A. For as much as I can.

Q. You cannot know now, but do you think that while you are at
college, if you go to college, you will continue to work at
McDonald's in the meantime?
A. I plan on keeping a job on in college; whether it is
McDonald's or not, I do not know.

Q. Only one other thing, Miss Wetli. There is also on the
shelves behind you a yellow one called big XIII.
A. Sorry, XIII?

Q. XIII, yes. Right at the back of that, there should be a
bundle of statements by Canadian witnesses. I think it
might be tab 44.
A. OK.

Q. I think, if you look at the second of those -- first of
all, in each case there a typed statement and behind that a
handwritten or typed letter.
A. OK, yes.

Q. Do you see the second one of those which is headed
"Michelle Wetli"?
A. Yes, I do.
