Day 184 - 06 Nov 95 - Page 11
Q. So that the tick "coming today" is something you wrote,
what, before the meeting, was it?
A. Yes. Well -----

Q. Do you think, or not?
A. I cannot remember. I am pretty sure that I wrote their
names saying that they were planning on coming today,
but -----

Q. If I have understood it correctly, the star "wrote one" is
something you wrote afterwards?
A. Yes.

MR. RAMPTON: Thank you, Miss Iurilla. Would you please stay
there to answer the Defendants' questions?

MR. MORRIS: I want to ask one question, and then if we could
have a bit of a break, because we wanted to catch up with
some of that?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: The thing is, if we have a number of breaks
it gets disruptive. What I suggest you do is start with
your cross-examination. The meeting, for instance, was not
until 5th October. If need be, we will have a slightly
longer break in the middle of the morning.

MR. MORRIS: OK.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Then we will just have one break rather than
more than one.

Cross-examined by the Defendants

MR. MORRIS: Just one question about this document. Have you
still got it in front of you?
A. Yes.

Q. In the bottom right-hand corner, you said about the union
promotions thing?
A. Yes

Q. Expecting promotions. What is the thing about "wage"
there?
A. I am not sure. I cannot remember why I wrote that
down.

Q. But did Cam say something about how unions will affect
wages?
A. Not that I can remember, no.

Q. Just about what you are doing at the moment, you are
Swing Manager?
A. Yes.

Q. We have heard quite a lot about Floor Managers in this
country.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I am treating them as the same, and I have
done for several months. So I would like to be told.
I thought it was made quite clear several months ago that
