accessible, because it may help your Lordship to resolve
the conflict of evidence between the two witnesses. But
expressed as they are, it does seem to me that what once
again what Mr. Morris is doing is fishing for a case which
he may not have -- the way he has expressed himself.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Or he may not have been as precise as he
       could be.

MR. RAMPTON: That is what I am saying.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. Take A, B, C and D and tell me what you
are getting at, Mr. Morris. I have read the statements but
I obviously cannot remember them in detail, so I would like
you to tell me what you are trying to get at in each of
       those classes.

MR. MORRIS: Mr. Hill is trying to find me copies of the
statements, very kindly. While we are waiting for
       that -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I have Shaun Richards at 39C.

MR. RAMPTON: I have a spare copy of Richards which I want back
because I use it for annotation purposes.

MR. MORRIS: For example, I have not got Mr. Logan's statement
so that is making it difficult -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Where does he appear?

MR. MORRIS: He is our witness.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: He is 25 in pale blue II.

MR. MORRIS: Yes. He has a substantial supplementary statement
to which Mr. Richards has responded, so he should be behind
his other statements. It is something like a four-page
statement or something. I have just been given a copy
now. It is about eight or nine pages.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, but it is -----

MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, can I help? The first item in
Mr. Morris's letter is derived, I believe, from page 3 of
Mr. Logan's supplementary statement under the heading
"Clock cards" which is Mr. Richards' response from pages 4
and 5 of Mr. Richards' statement, paragraph 11 at the
bottom. One ought to read Mr. Logan's passage first.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I will read that. Are you ready to go on
       that?

MR. MORRIS: Yes, I think that really speaks for itself in terms
of it being an issue in dispute.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, but what are you asking for?

MR. MORRIS: I have not cast a wide net. What I have said is
that the daily clock card report plus the adjustments sheet
