Day 189 - 20 Nov 95 - Page 27
including us.

Q. -- after you; and that was two-thirds of the full-timers?
A. I would say roughly about two-thirds.

Q. Right.
A. But it was a very long, protracted strike, and a lot of
people left during the course of it.

Q. Let me see if there are any more questions on that
document.

Just moving to the actual strike itself, presumably, you
were aware at the time that an injunction was obtained with
certain conditions on the picketing?
A. Yes, there was, yes.

Q. What was your view on that?
A. Well, I felt it was unjust, because I know in my case
it was just a fabrication, and that was that -- I was one
of the people injuncted (sic).

Q. So there were some allegations fabricated?
A. Yes. They claimed there was violence, but when I had
been there there had been no violence on the thing there
where they mentioned some incident.

Q. Whatever the allegations were, what did you think of the
injunction limiting picketing?
A. I knew -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I do not think that is -- if you have some
specific matter like whether there was actually violence,
then by all means; but I do not think I can decide anything
on the opinion of Mr. Mrozek. Just let me complete my note
of what Mr. Mrozek said about the violence.

THE WITNESS: It was claimed that there was -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: No, no. (Pause)

MR. MORRIS: Yes. You said you did not witness any
violence ---
A. No, I never did, no.

Q. -- any of the time that you were on the picket line?
A. No, no violence.

Q. Was there shouting sometimes?
A. Sometimes, yes.

Q. Just something that has come up in previous testimony about
some kind of demand about reinstating sacked workers during
the dispute. Did this ever come up?
A. No.

Q. No. At the beginning of the dispute or during the dispute,
during the strike, was this one of the demands of the
strikers to reinstate anyone that had been sacked?
