Day 263 - 14 Jun 96 - Page 45
A. I do not know. I attended a lot of meetings. I cannot
form them into discrete events. I do not recall how many
meetings I went to exactly. I can only go on the notes
I have.

MS. STEEL: If I could just say, it is our case that
Mr. Pocklington was at those meetings on the dates that
I have given, and I was just describing what had happened
in the hope that it might remind him that he had been at
those meetings on those dates.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.

MS. STEEL: Your offices are near Russell Square. You went
back to Kings, did you not?
A. When did I go back to Kings?

Q. After the meetings?
A. After the meetings, I did not go to any one specific
place; I went to different places.

Q. Did you have an office near Russell Square?
A. What do you mean by "near"?

Q. Well, that would have entailed you getting out at
Russell Square tube station?
A. No. The location of Kings' offices, there are two or
three tube stations nearer than Russell Square that I can
think of.

Q. I mean, we know that Kings was based in Chancery Lane. Was
it based in Chancery Lane then?
A. Yes, it was.

Q. You would not have walked from Russell Square to
Chancery Lane?
A. I may have done. It depends on the circumstances,
I suppose.

MR. MORRIS: I want to go back to the -- sorry, I have the wrong
-- yes. I am checking 25th January, the notes for
25th January -- something I neglected to ask.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: It is page 68.

MR. MORRIS: This meeting here, you say, was about the future of
the group. Although it was -- if you just read those notes
briefly, that is an internal meeting of the group, is it,
rather than a public meeting?
A. I understand what you mean. It would appear so. It
does not appear as if there are any different people
there. It does not appear as if there is a particularly --
as if it is a public forum.

Q. Yes. I said that because, although it was at Endsleigh
Street, it seems to be different from the other Endsleigh
Street meetings, in that it was not a public meeting.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do you really have anything to ask about
this? It cannot be too striking if you have not got it
