  Q. You were not aware of that?
       A. No.

  Q. Are you aware that they are opposed factory farming?
       A. Yes, I am.

  Q. Do you respect that?
       A. To some degree, yes. What I do not respect is that
they do not understand that there is not just that, that
there is a whole picture that you have to look at, that
some of the things that recommendations that they do does
not make one bit of sense. I do not respect that. Some of
their claims, they are totally wrong. They do not have any
facts. They lie. They invade properties. I do not have
any respect for that. They break the law every single day
       almost.

  Q. The ASPCA do?
       A. Who?

  Q. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to
       Animals?
       A. What?

  Q. They break the law every day?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Are you aware of that Society, first of all,
       that particular Society?
       A. I get confused with all the societies.

  Q. Yes, that is what I wondered. If you are not sure of that
society, then say so. You are not being asked about people
who may take action in relation to what they see as
animals' rights. You are being asked about a specific
       society.
       A. I do not know.

MS. STEEL: On page 6, the final paragraph starts: "Clearly,
even as the company itself seems to recognise, factory
farming raises substantial ethical and policy
considerations for the company". Would you accept that?
       A. Absolutely.

  Q. On page 7, the fourth paragraph says: "The proposal", i.e.
the shareholders' proposal, "asks the Board to form a
committee to study how factory farming affects the animals
whose meat and eggs the company sells". Has any such
       committee ever been formed?
       A. That was prior for me joining the company. I do not
       know.

  Q. Right, but are you aware of any such committee now?
       A. No.

  Q. On page 8 at the bottom of that page, it says: "Tyson
Foods, for example, states in its 10-K", that is form 10-K?
       A. I lost you -- page 8?

  Q. Yes, the bottom of the page.
