Day 205 - 17 Jan 96 - Page 38
be ready to do that, but I will try and do them sooner
rather than later.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What I suggest, Mr. Morris, you go through
the rest of your list, and then I would like to work
through the timetable and see whether there is any dispute
about whether the evidence should be admitted.

MR. MORRIS: The next one is Richard North, on the list, which
is -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I would like Rensi to be argued, if there is
an argument about it, on Monday morning as well, if we do
not deal with it.

MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, certainly.

MR. MORRIS: Do you have your papers now?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, I do, thank you.

MR. MORRIS: Richard North's basically speaks for itself. We
got that in the early hours of this morning, so I will not
say anything about that. We would like leave to call him.
I mean, is that what we are doing now, asking for leave?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I think you should ask for leave for each of
these as it comes up, and then in due course I will ask
Mr. Rampton about them, or he can stand up straightaway and
tell me, and if there is no objection to it then I may well
give leave. If there is an objection, I will next ask: can
we argue that now or is that Monday morning as well?

MR. MORRIS: Right, OK. All the statements which I have
referred to today, I would like leave to call or, if they
are across the seas, to rely on -- which includes
Stan Stein's testimony to Congress that I referred to
before.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: So, that is North, Millstone, Mainprice ---

MR. MORRIS: -- Alimi and Stein, Ryan and Lynval, and -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I will give you leave with regard to Ryan and
leave with regard to Lynval, subject to an objection which
Mr. Rampton wants to make as to inadmissibility of part of
Mr. Lynval's statement.

MR. MORRIS: And Ed Rensi, too, which I have to explain a little
bit. I think those are the people.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Rensi on Monday morning, Alimi on Monday
morning. Are you able to deal with North, Millstone,
Mainprice or Stein, Congress Committee, Mr. Rampton?

MR. RAMPTON: No, I am not. The first North, which we had a few
days ago, I am in a position to deal with, and I will
oppose his being recalled to give the evidence which he
purports to be able to give about the Preston report, for
the very simple reason that it is an utter waste of time,
