MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, thank you.

MR. MORRIS: Just one question on your three statements that you
made ---
A. Yes.

Q. -- just for clarification: You said on your page 2 you
were told by Managers, particularly Simon Gibney, that if
anyone joined a union or even seriously considered joining
a union they would be sacked?
A. Yes.

Q. Do you remember who the other Managers were or their
positions?
A. Well, I do remember having heard that from several
people, including floor Managers like Steve Harney and
Managers like Daniel Rizzardini and there were references
to it by other Managers as well.

Q. That is the only question I have on those statements. If
you could get out the statements of Mr. Davis and
Mr. Stanton? They are, I think, in yellow volume X. If we
go to the statement of Mr. Davis first? I am not sure what
number it is. His first statement, Mark Davis.
A. I cannot see it on the list here.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: It is 33 and it is in volume XB. Mr. Stanton
is 34.

MR. MORRIS: If you go to page 11 of his statement, page 290 in
the bundle?
A. Yes.

Q. You will see that he makes comments about your statement?
A. Yes.

Q. The first one says: "Siamak always appeared to be very
happy at McDonald's. He was always very enthusiastic about
working there". Do you have any comment about that?
A. Well, my only comment is that I enjoy working in a team
and I am usually a happy person. It had nothing to do with
working at McDonald's or not. I mean, I would say I was
happy despite working at McDonald's. So, I was
particularly -- I was not particularly happy working at
McDonald's. Not at all. I am not sure where he gets that
impression from anyway because I really did not socialise
with him outside work, and he just -- I think it is just a
very, very superficial impression that he has.

Q. I leave the next point. Over the page he says: "Paul
Jackson was a particularly dislikeable and objectionable
person"?
A. Yes.

Q. Do you have any comment on that?
A. Well, I think Paul Jackson -- I do not -- I did not
actually work with him for very long because he left
shortly after I started. But my comment on that sentence,
that he seems to be suggesting that he was dismissed
