Q. They ---
A. The point -----

Q. -- thrive off each other?
A. The point I was making there is that you cannot have a
dairy industry unless you have a beef industry because, to
have a dairy industry, you have got to leave the cow giving
its milk to the human dairy industry. Therefore, you have
got to remove the calf from the cow, otherwise you would
not have a dairy industry. Now, then, if you did not have
a dairy industry and you just left the animals alone, once
those cows grew up and died of old age, you would have no
industry, you have no milk, you have no cheese, you have no
butter.

Q. So the two are interlinked?
A. Yes.

Q. We are just checking if there is any one final question or
two. I have finished.

MS. STEEL: Can I just clarify? McKey bought Bostwanan beef up
to 1984 and then when again after that date?
A. We started buying it again last year.

Q. Last year?
A. Yes, but not for McDonald's.

Q. So?
A. Not for McDonald's.

Q. Was any bought between 1984 and last year?
A. No.

Q. Two other questions -- I cannot remember, possibly I have
asked this already -- did Braslo have any connection to
Vesty?
A. Braslo?

Q. Braslo, yes.
A. No.

Q. It does not have any connection?
A. No.

Q. You said that the Vesty companies were all part of the
Union International Group?
A. Yes.

Q. Did they own any other companies in Brazil, I mean,
connected to beef?
A. I honestly do not know the answer to that.

Q. You do not know?

MR. MORRIS: One question: You said that McDonald's have access
to all McKey documents. Do you have that relationship with
the abattoirs, if you want copies of documents which they
have in their possession?
