Day 267 - 21 Jun 96 - Page 33

  Q. On the following page you say that, "Nothing about
       McDonald's was mentioned tonight".
       A. That is correct, yes, I did.

  Q. The next meeting is the 22nd February, 1990?
       A. That is correct.

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Page 84.

MS. STEEL: You said about this meeting: "This is a meeting at 6
Endsleigh Street on sexuality and revolution" and you said
that "A lot of groups were present at the meeting. Highly
       boring and freaky".
       A. That is correct.

  Q. "Nothing to report on McDonald's".
       A. That is correct.

  Q. Then you have got, "Had to go along to establish an
interest in LGP activities". So, at the meeting itself
there was nothing said about McDonald's?
       A. Nothing that I have recorded.

  Q. So, where you have got later on that "Paul admitted to
organising the McDonald's fight", that would have been in a
private conversation, you know, at the end of the meeting?
       A. It may have been during the meeting. It may have been
       afterwards.

  Q. You do not have a note, do you, of the antiMcDonald's fact
sheet being on the table at this meeting?
       A. Not in my notes, no.

  Q. Right. So, you are not in a position now to give any
evidence that it was on the table at this meeting?
       A. It is not detailed on my notes, no.

  Q. Right. OK. If we move on to the 1st March, 1990.

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Page 87.

MS. STEEL: Mr. Morris has already dealt in some detail with
this meeting. You said that, "Helen did not say much
tonight about antiMcDonald's, only that Paul Allan was
preparing a leaflet/booklet". I did not say Paul Allan,
did I? I just said Paul.
       A. You may have done, yes. That is probably right. You
would not have called him two names.

  Q. It would be extremely unusual for someone to give both
first name and surname at the meeting; yes?
       A. Yes, it would be, yes.

  Q. Right. So, that would be something you added because that
is what you thought his surname was?
       A. I cannot recall why I have added it, but I have added
       it.

  Q. Right. OK.
