Day 181 - 01 Nov 95 - Page 06
A. "Mr. Alimi"?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: That is right.

MR. MORRIS: It is somewhere in the middle of that document.
There are two weekly time records of hours worked at
McDonald's.

MS. STEEL: It looks like that, if it is any help.

MR. MORRIS: It is actually right in the middle of the large
number of documents.

MR. RAMPTON: It is the 32nd page, my Lord.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Thank you.

MR. MORRIS: Can you -----
A. Has it got in the top left-hand corner "McDonald's
Hamburgers Limited"?

MR. MORRIS: No.

MS. STEEL: It has "Time Record" across the top.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: It has "Time Record" across the top, and it
is before you get to the observation checklist.

MS. STEEL: I think it is at the back of the payslip -- it
might be different.
A. Thank you.

MR. MORRIS: There are two pages in a row; one starts off with
over-18s and the next page is under-18s.
A. Yes.

Q. You might as well take them out and put them in front of
you, or something.
A. I can see them from here.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I think he is concerned that you are facing
away from him.
A. I am sorry.

MR. MORRIS: Also, you can look at both pages at once. But we
will take the top page first, over-18?
A. Yes.

Q. I have done some figures (and these can be checked), but
I would say that the first name, L. Beadle -- this is in
November 1987 in Orpington -- worked 48 hours in that
week. I have not checked them all; I did not have time.
Just for the ones I have checked: M. Clements, about six
down, worked 46 hours that week; M. Stephenson, which is
about another five down, worked 53 hours that week -- I am
assuming that close was one o'clock, which we have heard is
something fairly standard at McDonald's -- and that
T. Meritt, which is another five down, worked 51 hours,
that week. Going on to the next page, the under-18s,
towards the bottom, about six names up, is M. Harrison, and
