MR. MORRIS: If we can go back to clear up an issue before we
2 break. I do not believe it is in the interlocutory -- I
do not think there is any other matter we have to finish
3 today.
4 MR. JUSTICE BELL: I must leave court not later than quarter
to, so you pick a time convenient to you but within the
5 next five or ten minutes.
6 MR. MORRIS: Just to look at the chart that was referred to
this morning or I think it was yesterday in examination?
7 A. Could I have a copy of that, please?
8 Q. Yes. I cannot remember the exact reference.
9 MR. JUSTICE BELL: Are we leaving tab 75?
10 MR. MORRIS: Yes, we are leaving that completely, the whole
bundle. We do not need it. If we go to pink bundle III.
11 A. Which tab?
12 Q. It is pages 61 onwards, in fact it is page 65.
13 MR. JUSTICE BELL: That is in tab 2.
14 MR. MORRIS: Tab 2, page 65.
A. Do we have a better copy?
15
MR. JUSTICE BELL: This is one of the pages, Mr. Rampton, where
16 we inserted a better copy. Do you have an extra one,
Mrs. Brinley-Codd? It was one of those three or four
17 pages you handed up yesterday.
A. From the 1990 McDonald's report?
18
MR. MORRIS: Has everybody got the reference?
19
MS. STEEL: Mr. Rampton did have an original copy yesterday.
20
MR. RAMPTON: No, I handed it up to the judge. (Handed).
21 A. This is fine. This is we have a 16 year old male at
3,000 calories ----
22
MR. MORRIS: That is the one. I did, just by way of light
23 relief, meet a 47 year old female who felt a little bit
insulted that she did not need so many calories because
24 she still felt she was very active.
25 Yesterday you were examined by Mr. Rampton about this
chart and I think you relied on it as an example of how
26 someone could visit McDonald's regularly throughout the
day?
27 A. Throughout the week, I think.
28 Q. Throughout the week?
A. Yes, again this is US circumstances.
29
Q. Yes. Is this relevant at all to this country or could we
30 just dismiss the whole document?
A. Oh, no, because some of the products are also on sale
