Day 005 - 04 Jul 94 - Page 51
1 McDonald's?
A. No, they do not; not all, most do, though most do
2 though, Sir.
3 MISS STEEL: Right. On this photograph -- I am not sure where
you are up to now?
4 A. That is it.
5 Q. Right. There is one for sure in that, one, possibly more?
A. One, may be two.
6
Q. Right.
7 A. The next one?
8 Q. Yes.
A. Well, I see two but I cannot tell what is actually in
9 the gutter for sure.
10 Q. But I think there is another one in the gutter, but if we
count that one as two anyway?
11 A. Next one is one, the last one is two.
12 Q. Yes, that is right OK. Now?
A. Do you want his Lordship to see it?
13
MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. (Handed).
14
MISS STEEL: But I think that comes out at least 27 items of
15 environment/index.html">litter?
A. Could do. I do not add them up.
16
Q. I did. I am saying it does come out as roughly 27, the
17 ones that I am certain about are McDonald's environment/index.html">litter, could
be more.
18
I am not sure how I am supposed to do this. I actually
19 took these photographs. I took them on a Saturday
afternoon.
20
MR. JUSTICE BELL: What I suggest is that you put to
21 Mr. Preston what your evidence might be in due course, or
the effect of it; if you are saying they were found within
22 the 50 yard radius at such and such a time, you can ask
him, if you like, if he is surprised at that or what his
23 reaction is.
24 MISS STEEL: Those were photographs taken in half of Wood Green
High Street -- not the whole of it?
25 A. Over what period of time?
26 Q. Half an hour.
A. OK, very good.
27
Q. With the exception of one photograph they were on one side
28 of the road.
29 MR. JUSTICE BELL: So it is one side of the High Street?
30 MISS STEEL: Yes, not even the whole Wood Green High Street;
one side of Wood Green High Street.
