because he was dislikeable, and dislikeable in McDonald's
term in that environment means if you do not conform to the
norm and you do not -- and you question the management
decisions. It could very well be that he was questioning
some management decisions and, therefore, he was called by
management as a dislikeable person and he was dismissed
       because of that.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do you actually yourself know anything about
       Paul Jackson's dismissal?
       A. I do not know much. I mean, it was very early days for
       me.

  Q. I do not want you to tell me what other people told you.
The information you had in your first statement came from
Simon Gibney, but did you actually witness anything
happening with him with regard to the dismissal of Paul
       Jackson?
       A. All I can remember is that he was picked on
continuously. He was pressured continuously. He was
picked on because of probably dirty or greasy uniform, long
hair, and sending back -- he was sent back home as soon as
he was clocked, he had clocked on for the shift, and this
type of incident. That is all I can remember.

MR. MORRIS: Did other people at the time also have greasy
       uniforms?
       A. Yes, including myself, I could come in in creased
uniform and greasy uniform and if it was busy, or generally
       I was not picked on.

  Q. I am not going to comment on 31; it does not really ask
about that. I think you have dealt with 32.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do not go through -- he has given his
evidence. It is only if there is something which is
particularly related to Mr. Alimi, then I can understand
it. For instance, you asked about the impression that
Mr. Davis said he had made on him. I understand that, but
       the issues are pretty clear.

MR. MORRIS: The last line in 32: "I never heard anything from
him which could be classed as discontent". Do you want to
make any comment about that? This is Mark Davies saying
       that?
       A. Well, you should ask him that. I mean, I very
frequently made my point and on questions where I disagreed
with. Admittedly, I did not really have -- I did not see
much of Mark Davis himself. I did not, you know, have a
close relationship with him to be able to complain to him
directly, but I nevertheless complained to the management
        -- maybe not him.

  Q. Did you ever complain to Mark Davies directly about
       anything?
       A. I do not remember now.

  Q. You cannot remember -----
       A. It is very possible that when he was on the shift, on
the late night shifts or closes, I could have complained
