Day 012 - 18 Jul 94 - Page 69
1 Q. Right. We are coming on to that later on.
A. I mean, we ----
2
Q. That is OK. It does say, does it not, in the last but one
3 paragraph, the last sentence?
A. Which paragraph?
4
Q. The last but one paragraph, the last sentence: "The first
5 hundred will only last for a short time - for the first
news media 'hit'. Don't be caught short after that".
6 Would you say this was timed to coincide with a publicity
campaign in the media?
7 A. Yes, I would think it was.
8 MS. STEEL: I think you were contacted by the Texas Attorney
General's office on May 6th 1986. I do not know whether

and the whole thing did not just come out of nowhere. The
22 letter of May 6th 1986, it is exhibit 1.
23 MR. JUSTICE BELL: It has not come out of nowhere since this
morning because it was attached to the extra statement of
24 Mr. Gardner which you put in.
25 MS. STEEL: Yes, I know.
26 MR. JUSTICE BELL: You say subject to Civil Evidence Act notice
now.
27
MS. STEEL: No.
28
MR. JUSTICE BELL: You want it to be?
29
MS. STEEL: When we pleaded the issue about the labelling, the
