Day 202 - 11 Jan 96 - Page 46
two young children. That is what they have told me.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: The only point I am making, I am not saying
they must come the same day, but they can come on a day
which is shared with another witness.

MR. MORRIS: If the Plaintiffs do not intend to ask many
questions, then fair enough.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: There may well be some cross-examination, but
I would not have thought it would be very long.

MR. MORRIS: Right.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: So, what I am saying is when you are looking
at your options for them, do not feel you have to look for
a ---

MR. MORRIS: A whole day for each one.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: -- blank day for either of them.

MR. MORRIS: No, OK.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I mean, where do they live? Do you know?

MR. MORRIS: Colchester. Colchester, I think.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Very well. It is a bit too far for one to

as much as half a day, so that one could come, for
instance, at 2 o'clock and be dealt with that afternoon or
10.30 and be dealt with that morning.

MR. MORRIS: Right.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: They can be interposed if they have a
practical difficulty of that kind.

MR. MORRIS: Adrian Brett is off work so I cannot get hold of
him at work. I believe he is also moving house and his
number he is not answering at home. So, I have left a
message with him at work.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Keep up the pressure in relation to that.
Subject to ---

MR. MORRIS: I am trying.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: -- by which I mean, keep pursuing your
enquiries and trying to get them here -- subject to
anything Mr. Rampton wishes to say, I would have thought
the main concern is to hear Mr. Skehel's, Mr. Harney's and
Mr. Davis' evidence as quickly as we can over the next day
or two, and I think we ought to come back to where we are
tomorrow afternoon.

MR. MORRIS: If I can just say, Omid Shafibeik is prepared to
