MR. JUSTICE BELL: Just pause a moment.

  MS. STEEL: Would that -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Just pause for a moment while I look at the
       page.

  MS. STEEL: Sorry.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Where is the burger-nomics?

MS. STEEL: It is in the accounts presentation' section.

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Page 535.

MS. STEEL: Yes, 535, the fourth dot down, under: "The session
       provides students with" -----

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.

MS. STEEL: That would include, would it, food yields and
       labour percentages?
       A. Well, the whole Profit and Loss statement would be
       included in the burger-nomics.

  Q. But those two things would be included in that?
       A. Yes, food cost and labour.

  Q. Right. I actually said "food yields"; I do not know
whether that makes any difference to your answer?
       A. It is food cost rather than food yields.

  Q. Would food cost include food yields then?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Right. On page 543, this is the Area Supervisors course,
is that one that you said you had taken, yes?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Under "sales day" it refers to, the second paragraph: "The
Area Supervisors visit a local McDonald's restaurant to
identify sales opportunities and also to assess local
competition. With the help of sponsors the Area
Supervisors set sales objectives for the restaurant". Is
that basically, well, I do not think role play is quite the
right phrase, but is that so that they have some experience
of how to do that in reality when they are actually
       supervising their stores?
       A. Yes. The idea is that we visit other McDonald's
restaurants, and so it is an exercise, a group exercise,
whereby they can identify opportunities for that particular
restaurant. The idea is that they go back and use the
exercise on their own restaurant to identify sales
       opportunities for themselves.

  Q. Right. Under the "people day", after No. 3, the next
paragraph after that, it says: "Throughout the day the
Supervisors will be working on one of their store
situations and will finish the day with a plan of action
for working with the Manager to achieve the results they
