Day 265 - 19 Jun 96 - Page 68
A. Yes. Whoever held the agenda or it may have been
whoever was taking the meeting because I cannot recall, but
it may have been somebody present who said: "We have
talked about this enough. Let us move on."

Q. What if the discussion was getting long-winded?
A. If it was getting long-winded or if there was not much
to say, you would just move on to the next piece of
business.

Q. Right. And the previous events and coming events they
would not just have been events of London Greenpeace; they
would be if anybody attended and if anything that was
coming up, any type of event; whether this was a London
Greenpeace event or something organized by a completely
different group?
A. From recollection, yes. It would be anything in the
group, or members in the group in another capacity would be
involved in.

Q. Right. And the letters section was basically any letters
that had been received over the past week. People would
take it in turn to read out different letters so that
everybody who was there, you know, could hear what had been
sent in, in the previous week?
A. I think that is what happened, yes.

Q. Right. I mean, you took the minutes on occasions, did you
not?
A. I believe I did, yes.

Q. There was no significance in who took the minutes. It was
just thrown open to volunteers?
A. Yes. It was thrown open to volunteers and those who
were there if they wanted to.

Q. Right. Generally speaking there would be about five-ten
people at most of the meetings at Caledonian Road. Would
you agree with that? Sometimes less?
A. Yes. Ten sounds a lot on an average, but it could be.

Q. You think it would be somewhere nearer five?
A. It could be three. Half-a-dozen, may be more.

Q. Right?
A. It would depend. It fluctuated.

Q. It would be unusual to have more than ten though, at
Caledonian Road?
A. Yes. From recollection it would be. You would be
struggling to fit them in.

Q. Did you attend a London Greenpeace mail out?
A. Sorry, a mail out?

Q. Yes, where letters were sent to groups all over the world
or all over the country enclosing a variety of leaflets?
A. I do not recall a specific event as a mail out. I
recall members of the group sending letters and responding
to letters but I never did a "mail out," as such.
