and until the Defendants, having considered the Court of
Appeal case, suggest that I ought to reconsider it in the
light of that case -- blanking out parts of a document and
then allowing them to creep in later, or some of them, if
it helps the party who has done the blanking out. It is
premature to reach any view on that because you have not
       looked yet.

MR. RAMPTON: I would hardly have blanked out intentionally
something that helped me, I do not think, but I will
undertake to have a look later. In fact, what I will do
is I will pass it to Mrs. Brinley-Codd.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You do not have to consider your position on
       that this afternoon ---

  MR. RAMPTON: No.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: -- unless you decide to put in the whole
       document after all.

MR. RAMPTON: I might do that. I quite agree with your
Lordship in a case of this character if one starts to feed
back in bits that have been blanked out, it may be
desirable, to say the least, that the whole thing should
go in so I can understand it. But I will give it to
Mrs. Brinley-Codd. It is in any event perhaps only a
       matter of comment.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: It would mean for instance that -- no, I
have thought better. I have nothing to add to what I have
       already been said.

MR. RAMPTON: I will also have another look at the first
memorandum, the one of December 2nd.

There is one other matter before I go backwards to 1986,
Mr. Gardner: As you noticed from that letter in the
Time Magazine mock-up, it was intended that the campaign
should be a year-long campaign for 1987. That is what
Mr. Rensi stated in his letter to the McDonald's family,
       was it not?
       A. That is what he stated, yes, sir.

  Q. Could I ask you to be so kind as to find the yellow bundle
       No. V, Nutrition V?
       A. No. V, Mr. Rampton?

  Q. No. V with "Nutrition" printed on the spine.
       A. I have it.

  Q. The second tab of that volume ought to contain a statement
       by John Horwitz?
       A. I have it.

  Q. Does that have (and this is a genuine enquiry because I do
not know the answer) any additional documents behind it?
       A. It does.

  Q. It does? Does it have, amongst other things, a memorandum
