said by any of the people that you had been asked to look
out for?
A. I believe so, yes.

Q. Right. Who were the people you had been asked to look out
for?
A. I can, if I recall, I believe being shown photographs
of who was suspected to be core members of the group but
the instructions were to identify those who had not only a
main involvement with the group but primarily with the
antiMcDonald's campaign.

Q. Right. You were shown some photos and when they were shown
to you it is said "These are suspected to be core members
of the group and we want to look out for what they are
doing"?
A. I cannot remember what the solicitors said to me but I
recall: "These are the peopled involved with the
campaign."

Q. With the McDonald's campaign?
A. With the McDonald's campaign, sir.

Q. And that would have included myself and Mr. Morris, would
it?
A. I believe so. I cannot recall. I was shown your
photographs, yes.

Q. Right. Were you shown photographs of -- you said you saw a
photograph of Jonathan, I think. Yes. Was that right?
A. I believe, yes.

Q. You think you saw the photographs in set C?
A. I believe so, yes.

Q. So while you have made notes of other people who were
there; were, for example, Jane and John, were photographs
of them shown to you and asked you to look out for them in
particular?
A. I cannot recall particularly.

Q. You do not remember?
A. No.

Q. Is there any reason why myself and Mr. Morris stick in your
mind basically because you knew that you were coming here
to give evidence against us?
A. No. I had no idea that a civil action would have
taken place until after the -- until I was pulled out.

Q. What do you remember now?
A. What I remember now is that numerous members or
numerous people were photographed and believed to be
members of the group.

Q. Numerous people?
A. You and Mr. Morris included.

Q. Right. When you say numerous, how many?
A. 4, 5. Perhaps 6.
