then be given to 100 per cent recycled paper napkins?
       A. Yes, the napkin is not considered to be a primary
       package of food.

MS. STEEL: You have mentioned about some of the products are
unbleached. I think that is the two and four-hole trays
       and the paper bags?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Is that it?
       A. From my recollection, yes.

  Q. Just generally, you said you are not sure about the
post-consumer/post-industrial content. If the situation in
America is that the majority of the recycled content is
post-industrial rather than post-consumer, is that likely
to be the situation here as well?
       A. Not necessarily. America buys a lot of its
post-industrial paper waste from the UK, in fact, which
does not leave a great deal here as America is a large user
of this material, but I cannot tell you the exact numbers
       of post-industrial and post-consumer.

  Q. You have not idea?
       A. No.

  Q. Is that not something you feel important to find out about?
       A. A supplier does not feel they can tell us that with
confidence on and on-going basis. It is something that
varies according to the demand in the United States quite
       often.

  Q. When you said "America buys it from the UK", were you
       talking about America McDonald's?
       A. No, just the industry.

  Q. The industry generally?
       A. Yes.

MR. MORRIS: McDonald's does consider the recycled content in
terms of whether it is post-industrial or post-consumer as
an important issue, does it not?
       A. I do not think so. I really do not. I think the issue
       is, is it recycled?

  Q. I mean, there is controversy, in fact, there is even
legislation, I believe, in America that companies must
identify what percentage of recycled content is
       post-consumer; is that correct?
       A. I do not know. I do not know if there is legislation.
I know they know the numbers.

  Q. Do you know if it is the practice to write on any item sold
in America when you make claims about recycled content, the
practice, whether it is legislation or not?
       A. OK.

  Q. Is to say what percentage is post-consumer waste?
       A. The practice I can accept; legislation, I do not know.
