supplementary bundle 2, or something, I do not know...

MR. MORRIS: It is a memo.

MR. RAMPTON: What is the document? If I am told what the
document is I can do something with it.

MR. MORRIS: Headed with "Chuck Rubner McDonald's to phase out
       foam packaging", two pages.

  MR. RAMPTON: Concerning the USA?

MR. MORRIS: Yes. Well, it is actually put out in the UK.

MR. RAMPTON: If the witness has not got a copy please may we
have that back because we really must not lose it?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I would like it as well. What is it called?

MR. MORRIS: It is headed, "McDonald's to phase out foam
packaging" on the front page. Various executives at
       McDonald's...

MR. JUSTICE BELL: It is in bundle 2, and it is tab 10.

  MR. MORRIS: Yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: If you have been handed a copy just refer to
       that if you like.

MR. MORRIS: Is it two pages that you have, Mr. Preston?
       A. Yes.

  Q. If you just read that through, both pages, and then ask
you: does that basically accord with your understanding of
       the situation?
       A. OK.

  Q. Yes. You saw the second page is about London specifically?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Expected to follow suit with the American decision?
       A. Yes, I see that.

  Q. OK. Thank you, that is fine then. We can now put that
away. I do not know where you got yours from. Just see if
I have any more on packaging.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Were you asking Mr. Preston if there was a
decision, there was an expectation then, to phase this out
       in the UK?

MR. MORRIS: Yes, it says that in the UK we expect to follow
this decision as soon as it is practical to do so. So, the
expectation of following that decision, were there meetings
       at that time?
       A. There was an expectation to follow, and in fact we did
remove certainly the foam packaging for one of our chicken
Mcnugget products, I think the 6-piece portion was in foam
packaging. I am not sure if the 9 was. Certainly, the 6
