Day 062 - 06 Dec 94 - Page 64

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I think you should look into it, first of
all, because the only point you have raised is the
percentage of PI and PC ones. I do not know what will
happen when Mr. Van Erp goes away. He may find that 350 of
the 400 sheets had information on it; he may find that four
did. I just do not know. Can you remember?
A. Quite some forms did have information on them, on what
percentage was PI,PC.

Q. Look into it.

MR. MORRIS: I think he said there was something like 100 to 150
sheets and some had four or five items.
A. Yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You just said now, I know you asked 150
suppliers, but you said there were about 400?
A. We have got 400 items -- we have got about 50
suppliers. Some suppliers have actually got a few of these
documents.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, I understand.

MR. MORRIS: So it may not be more than, maybe, 40 sheets or
something that actually have recycled percentage, or 50
sheets. I mean, I do not see -----
A. They will all have a statement on the recycled
contents.

Q. Yes, but not the PI PC?
A. But not the PI PC.

Q. I would suggest that the most accurate and least time
consuming way in terms of inside the court would be to have
the actual sheets, then we could study them ourselves.
Because also, if it is after Mr. Van Erp has left the
witness box, we will not be able to cross-examine him on
them, or we do not really want to bring him back to
cross-examine him on those; if we had the documents, then
we would not need to.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do that, if you will, please, Mr. Van Erp.
Can you arrange that -- do you want the ones with the PI PC
split on only or do you want the others as well?

MR. MORRIS: That is the one we are specifically interested in
but we have not the information.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I know you are, but it is not going to tell
you ---

MR. MORRIS: No.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: -- you will only see the number of items
there are in relation to those suppliers. So, unless you
see all the rest as well you will not get any idea of what
the proportions are.

MR. MORRIS: It may be better just to have all documents. 150
