Philadelphia or is it a separate city?
A. It is a separate town but I would refer to it as
suburban Philadelphia.

Q. This gentleman MaCale, did he exist or was it a company?
A. Tony MaCale -- his name can be pronounced both ways but
I think he pronounces it MaCale.

Q. Is he Irish or Italian?
A. Italian.

Q. Tony MaCale, how many stores did he have?
A. He had I believe around a dozen stores.

Q. Was he a franchisee?
A. Yes.

Q. What actually happened, do you know?
A. Yes, I do.

Q. Were you involved in it?

Q. Yes.
A. The reason we became aware of it was after they told
him of this he called our regional office in Philadelphia
and asked for help to work on his systems and processes of

Q. Did you look at the papers yourself?
A. No, I did not. My area of concentration -- he had a
lawyer dealing with the matters with the State. My
principal focus was dispatching people to make sure that
whatever was going on in his practices needed to be
sharpened up, and that there would be no reoccurrence of
what was going on.

Q. Did your people conclude whether or not his practices did
need sharpening up?
A. Yes, they did.

Q. How was it dealt with, first of all by the authorities?
A. OK. It was a civil matter; it was not a criminal
matter. If it had been serious they would have made it
