afterwards. He helped to man the stalls.

  Q. If we go to the 12th July. I have not got a paper number
on this, have you got the notes for Mr. Claire for 12th
       July?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: It is 154L by my numbering.

  MS. STEEL: 154L?
       A. I have got a 154D and I have got nothing after that.

MS. STEEL: I will just read it out to save time

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do you know Mr. Claire's writing?
       A. I know what his handwriting looks like.

  Q. It is immediately before in my bundle the 19th July typed
notes with Miss Davidson's signature on?
       A. I have got 28th June which is 154A, B, C, D, and then
the next page is 155, which is 26th July.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Read out the bits you want for the moment.
It is quite short. Just listen to Ms. Steel, please.

MS. STEEL: "Meeting at 5 Caledonian Road. Jonathan is present,
also Jane, and other bloke not seen before." And then it
says, "To start with we just answered letters et cetera.
There are still lots and lots coming from all over the
world asking for antiMcDonald's leaflets and literature."
Then there is a comment about -- well, it does not really
matter the rest of it. Do you remember answering letters
with Alan, including letters about antiMcDonald's, the
       antiMcDonald's campaign?
       A. Yes. I mean, they would have been general inquiries
and, you know, non-specific inquiries about McDonald's but
I remember answering letters with Alan on at least one
       occasion.

  Q. Right. So if they were asking for antiMcDonald's leaflets,
       presumably they would have been--
       A. Yes, we would enclose the A5 leaflet.

MR. MORRIS: If we look at the notes of 19th July, Francis
       Tiller?
       A. I have not got them.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: That is in the other bundle?
       A. It is in another bundle.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I think it is in blue 1C which you have on
the table, the file right there. Divider 8 after your
statement, and if you look after that you may find it. It
       is typed out.
       A. What is the date?

  Q. It has assignment number L11390 and the page, 19th July. I
       have it as page 154N.

MR. RAMPTON: In the witness bundle it is right at the back of
the blue 1C. It is tab 8, I think, and it is page 20 of
