Davis and Frank Stanton in their statements specifically
referring to him where they comment about Siamak and his
       allegations.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I have one in mind which is in relation to
hours, but I would like you to raise the matters with me
before you do so because you may well be justified in doing
that, but what I do not want you to do is go off on a foray
into further evidence when you have very substantial
evidence set out in the statements in any event which, I am
assuming, Mr. Alimi will aver when he gets into the witness
box. Would you like to come into the witness please,
       Mr., Alimi?

                        SIAMAK ALIMI, Sworn
                      Examined by Ms. Steel.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Mr. Alimi, you have been in court before so
you know the way things work to some extent, but keep your
voice up loud and clear; the microphone does not magnify
       your voice.

MS. STEEL: Can I just say, can it be borne in mind English is
       not Mr. Alimi's first language?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I will say to you what I have said to other
witnesses who have, in fact, spoken very good English but
have not had English as their first language: If at any
stage you have any doubt as to whether you have understood
fully or whether you are expressing yourself clearly,
       please raise it.

MS. STEEL: If you could give your full name and present
       occupation to the court, please?
       A. My name is Siamak Alimi and currently I am working at
the University of the West of England as Senior Technician
       in Information Technology.

  Q. If you could tell us a little bit about what you have been
doing since you stopped working at McDonald's?
       A. When I finished working at McDonald's, I started a
course at London University on computing and when
I finished that course I went down to Bristol and worked
for a computer company, and subsequently when I finished
that job I was employed by the University of the West of
England and I have been there ever since.

  Q. You have your statement in front of you, yes? If I read
through it and if you stop me if there is anything that you
       want to correct?
       A. This is the first statement?

  Q. The first statement, yes. The first sentence says you are
30 years old; is that the age you were when you started at
       McDonald's?
       A. That is correct. When I started I was 30 years old.

  Q. "I was employed at McDonald's store in Colchester from
7th October 1985 until the end of August 1987. By the time
