Day 207 - 23 Jan 96 - Page 59
A. Sorry, I do not follow you.

Q. Can people get access to the Hunter computer or Husky
computer without any code?
A. I am not aware of a system, a way, that someone can get
into the Hunter without any personal access code.

Q. Right. You have got a personal code, have you?
A. I have.

Q. When you adjust somebody's times, how do you know what
times to put, apart from the ones that they have actually
clocked in and out on, or if they have not clocked out, how
do you know what times -----
A. If they were -- if, for instance, there was a mistake
where a crew member forgot to clock in, and they advised
you of that, you would take that information and then clock
them into the computer accordingly.

Q. What about when they forget to clock out?
A. Obviously, if they have left the building and they have
gone, you rely on your memory of the fact when they left
or, you know, if a person is not there, they will try to
find out from the other Managers or look at the schedule
the time it was scheduled to.

Q. Right. But, in general, when people clock out they clock
out at all sorts of times, do they not?
A. Yes, there are a variety of times when people clock in
and out.

Q. Are you mostly telling people to leave home early before
the end of their schedule?
A. Sorry?

Q. Say people are scheduled from 12.00 until 8.00 -- 11.00 to
7.00, do you basically tell people to leave at 10 to 7 or
quarter to 7 or 20 to 7 or do generally work up to their
time and beyond?
A. They may work -- they may go before if they wish, you
know, if they have got a specific need to go before or, you
know ------

Q. Yes, but, in general, do people work their schedule and
then do a few bits and pieces and then leave?
A. They would work up to their scheduled time, I would
say, bar five or 10 minutes either side.

Q. If people are scheduled, say, people are scheduled 11.00 to
7.00, they do not just walk off the floor when they feel
like it, do they?
A. They usually ask you whether they can go and you say:
"Yes, you are fine to go".

Q. You do not say: "Oh, wait a minute, you are scheduled
until 7.00", you know, or you just say -- what is the
general pattern? Do people say -----
A. People will come up to me and ------

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Is there a general pattern?
