them for these documents prior to the trial.

  Q. Has your department ever asked for them?
       A. I cannot speak for everybody; I do not know what
       everybody else is doing.

  Q. So it is not a routine thing that you keep a check on the
       conditions in the -----
       A. No, our philosophy has never been that of being a
policeman to our suppliers. Our suppliers know their
business. They know well into it. We have our business.
We know our business. We do not own those suppliers. We
       do not own Tyson.

  Q. The things that are listed on the first page of this
report, for example, under Feed Bins, caked feed rust spots
size, how often would things like that happen?
       A. I do not know.

  Q. You do not know?
       A. No, the intent of this is to see if there is any
problems to check it and do something about it, if
something has to be done. But what frequency, I do not
       know.

  Q. You do not know what frequency the environment/index.html">litter might be wet or
       patch cake?
       A. The cake feed refers to the feeding, to the feed.

  Q. No, patch cake, it is across from "Litter Management"?
       A. No, I do not.

  Q. On the second page: "The house temperature is hot". Is
that something that would concern you?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: We have our pages in a different order unless
I am looking at -- yes, that is quite right. I was looking
at house conditions. House temperature hot, yes.

THE WITNESS: Yes. What it does not say is the temperature.
They have a range in which they have foggers and
ventilators that within a range will start working or not
working depending on the temperatures. This is a form used
       to monitor them.

MS. STEEL: This is a form filled in at the time when the
chickens are being loaded up for slaughter?
       A. No.

  Q. That is what it says at the top?
       A. Oh, sorry, yes, conditions, yes.

  Q. So this would be a record of the conditions they found at
       that time?
       A. That is correct.

  Q. These foggers and ventilators that are working or not
working depending on the temperature, how long do they take
       to have an effect?
       A. Oh, they are triggered by a thermostat.
