Day 099 - 08 Mar 95 - Page 48

  Q. Yes.
       A. Specifications that McDonald's write to ensure that
their products are of the highest possible quality and
safety. Some of the things on this sheet do not refer to
items on the specifications sheet. They are above and
beyond what is written on the original specification.

  Q. That, I think, Mr. Kenny, is clear enough. If you turn
over to the next page, we get a sheet from about a year
later, a bit more than a year later, which records the week
       commencing 23rd December 1990?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Again I am not going to go through the figures. If anybody
can be bothered, you can find that there is none, just by
looking at the figures, that exceeds the 500,000 either in
the raw or the finished product. What I was going to ask
you is, in this document there is missing that equipment
swabs bacteria per 16 square centimetres line which we
found in the document from a year earlier?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Do you know what the reason for that is?
       A. Yes, they are on another page. They actually changed
the way they reported them and they reported them
       graphically.

  Q. If you have the sister page to this one, for this date --
I am not asking you do it -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Is that the following page?
       A. Page 69.

  MR. RAMPTON: I see.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You said it was graphic.

MR. RAMPTON: I am sorry. Yes, it is my fault for not
listening. Yes, it may well be. (To the witness): What
are the numbers on the left-hand side? Are they hundreds,
       thousands?
       A. On the graph?

  Q. Yes. On page 69.
       A. No, they would just be as they are.

  Q. A graded scale. So if you get above 8, I mean C -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: We can actually see our A, Bs and Cs along
       the bottom above "ratings" there.

MR. RAMPTON: Is that what you meant by key or do we need
       something more than that?
       A. No, you need to know ---

  Q. What it means?
       A. What the A, Bs and Cs are.

  Q. Perhaps we will come back to them. Just again out of idle
curiosity, I think I know what they are, but just glance at
