  Q. Yes, but you do not know from your own experience, do you?
       A. I knew because I have seen the poster.

  Q. But you do not know if it has been adopted by the company
and monitored by Mr. Mike Matthews?
       A. I take that in good faith. If they tell of officer of
the company they have done something, then you would expect
       it would be done.

  Q. Your department has not had any -- you said it did not
affect your department, I think those were the words you
used, it has not affected your department. So, in reality,
it has not had any direct effect which you have any
       experience of?
       A. Not on the purchasing department; it certainly did on
       the Communications Department.

MS. STEEL: Is Mr. Matthews the Environmental Affairs Manager?
       A. Not any more. He was.

  Q. Who holds that position now?
       A. It is Barry Flak in a part-time capacity.

  Q. Barry Flak?
       A. Yes.

  Q. You say it is part-time now?
       A. Yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Is a he a full-time employee of the company?
       A. Yes, he is. He is an architect.

  Q. And so part of his duties are in relation to environmental
       matters?
       A. Yes. Mike Matthews was promoted to Director of Total
Quality Management and relinquished his responsibility at
that time to Barry Flak who took on an additional
       responsibility for the environmental affairs.

  MS. STEEL: When was that?
       A. That was pretty recent. I think certainly
earlier -- this year, earlier this year.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: When you say you saw a poster, where was
       that?
       A. As I said, in the offices.

  Q. What, on notice boards or on walls or where?
       A. Just on a wall in the offices.

MS. STEEL: Can I just ask how long did the Nottingham
       experiment go on for?
       A. I am not sure. You should ask Frank Stanton who is the
Operations Manager, Regional Manager, for that area. He is
giving evidence, I believe, later on in the trial.

  Q. OK.

MR. MORRIS: Did you visit the Nottingham scheme?
