Day 279 - 12 Jul 96 - Page 32
I should be able to take away a copy of each of the videos
so if I choose to look at it at home I can do. So you
ought to be able to be prepared to provide me with that,
but there is no need for you to be doing that until the
autumn.

MR. RAMPTON: The only other thing which occurs to me, we have
indicated in the past that so soon as the evidence was
finished, or so soon after the evidence had finished as
your Lordship wished, we would provide for your Lordship
and for the defendants a complete set of the transcripts,
insofar as they do not have them already. I would not do
that if your Lordship did not want them.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: No, you mean abbreviating the three weeks
lapse, time lapse?

MR. RAMPTON: That is right. So if your Lordship would give
that some thought and tell me next week.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: So what would happen? At any time when we
finish next week, any transcripts which have not been
provided to the defendant indeed would be provided to the
defendants.

MR. RAMPTON: That is right. I am very bad at relative
velocity, so it may not be a significant time saving
but --

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Right. Unless there is anything else, we
will adjourn now and I will merely wait to hear on Tuesday
afternoon whether we are going to go ahead on Wednesday
morning or Thursday morning.
