Day 188 - 15 Nov 95 - Page 14
Q. We just discussing whether we actually need to show the
film, perhaps to save time. When was the last time you saw
the film?
A. I think it was probably something like five or six
years ago.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: If there is some real purpose in doing it,
then do so, but -----

MR. MORRIS: I do not know if we need to.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I do not really think there is. I mean, you
have asked your questions of Miss Tobin about the film.
I assume you are going to ask her about any question of
speeding up -- in case you have forgotten about that. But
I suggest you leave the film there, at least for the
moment.

MS. STEEL: The speeding up part was the part I was concerned
about. I was just wondering whether we should not show
that part, so that she can confirm it has not been speeded
up. I do not know whether she can do that without seeing
it.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I would have thought that that is such a
simple "yeah" or "nay", that you do not need to show it
again.

MR. MORRIS: (To the witness): Were any parts of the film -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: But when you have left the film for the
moment, I want to discuss how you are going to deal with
the rest of Miss Tobin's evidence.

MR. MORRIS: Right. (To the witness): Just one question on the
film. Did you see all the filming as it was being done?
A. Yes. I was there throughout the entire session of the
filming.

Q. That is -----
A. At every moment of the filming, yes.

Q. Did you see the uncut tapes after the filming?
A. I saw most of them; I would think 99 per cent of them.

Q. Have you seen the transcripts ---
A. No.

Q. -- of the uncut filming?
A. No.

Q. You have never seen those?
A. Never seen the transcripts, no.

Q. Right. In the final version of the film -- do you remember
the final version of the film?
A. Well, pretty well, yes. I mean -----

Q. Would you remember -----
