  Q. OK. Thank you.
       A. Incidentally, I have never seen this before.

  Q. Have you not?
       A. No.

  Q. OK.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Just pause a moment. By the time
Mr. Nicholson comes back, you should have had an
opportunity to see any more documentation which you have
not had an opportunity to see and you should have got your
supplemental statements on publication and counterclaim, if
there are any on counterclaim, out. So, you will be able
to complete your cross-examination of Mr. Nicholson, and,
as I said just before the break, I would like you to come
back and unless you say to me, "Well, we will finish Mr.
Nicholson in an hour or two when he comes back", I want you
to be able to tell me just what you have to cover so I can
think about a time limit. I do not say that in terrorem,
but I think I really ought to know if you are going to take
more than literally an hour or so.

This is your opportunity, if you need it -- I am quite
happy to break off now -- but this is your opportunity
before you go away to ask Mr. Nicholson anything which you
think you need to know before you get out those statements
and before you look at the remainder of those documents.
So, whatever else you have in mind to ask him in
cross-examination, if there is information which is
relevant, not covered by privilege which you think
Mr. Nicholson may be able to give you which will help you
in the tasks you have to complete over the vacation, this
       is the opportunity to ask.

  MS. STEEL: Right.

MR. MORRIS: I think the best thing is to leave the questioning
       over until -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, very well.

MS. STEEL: Before we -- not before Mr. Nicholson leaves the
witness box, but there was something I wanted to bring up.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Thank you, Mr. Nicholson.

                       (The witness withdrew)

MS. STEEL: It was to ask about the cases on privilege, just so
that if we have them now it means we can ---

MR. RAMPTON: I am sorry, I know your Lordship has one.

MS. STEEL: -- see them over the break and maybe get advice, if
       it is appropriate.

MR. RAMPTON: Your Lordship, I think, has one.
