  Q. Do you know a gentleman called Kevin Harrison?
       A. Yes, I do.

  Q. Is he your partner in the transport business?
       A. No, he is not.

  Q. Was he at one time?
       A. He was for a short time.

  Q. Do you know his wife, who was Kate Scannell and who is now
       Kate Harrison?
       A. Yes. She used to work at the Colchester store.

  Q. Did you and the two Harrisons share a house together?
       A. We did, yes.

  Q. You did? Do you know a gentleman called Adrian Brett?
       A. Yes, I do.

  Q. Was he a friend of yours, too?
       A. Is he now, or was he?

  Q. Was he?
       A. When I worked at McDonald's, yes.

  Q. What about a gentleman called Omid Shafibeik ---
       A. Yes.

  Q. -- do you remember him? Also a friends of yours?
       A. Yes, he is.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What is Adrian Brett now? Did you say he was
       your partner now?
       A. No.

MR. RAMPTON: Kevin Harrison had been, my Lord, but is no
       longer.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I did not catch the answer, so I looked at
Caseview. There was a question: "Do you know a gentleman
Adrian Brett?" "Yes, I do." Then there was a
       question -----

MR. RAMPTON: "Was he a friend of yours"; and the answer,
I think, was -- Mr. Gibney will correct me -- "Yes, while
       he was at Colchester."

  THE WITNESS: Yes.

MR. RAMPTON: This is not made in any suggestive way at all,
Mr. Gibney, at the moment. I have a list: you, Mr. Gibney,
Mr. Alimi, Mr. Brett, and Mr. Harrison and Mrs. Harrison,
and Mr. Shafibeik, all friends at the time; is that right?
       A. Everyone in the store is generally friendly with
       everyone else.

  Q. So you found it a congenial and friendly place to work, did
       you?
