       these cases.
       A. Sufficient accuracy is plus or minus one, but they now
have more advanced equipment which is easily obtainable
which is accurate to 10 per cent.

  Q. Here we come on the next page 17 to what I take to be the
       cleaning sheet; is that right?
       A. That is a check on the cleaning. It is not the full
       clean schedule.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: When you say 10 per cent, do you mean a tenth
       of a degree?
       A. Yes, a tenth of a degree, yes.

MR. RAMPTON: Here we have a whole lot of areas which have to
be, I take it, inspected to see that they are cleaned; is
       that right?
       A. That is right.

  Q. There is a column saying "Checked by Jarretts staff"?
       A. Yes.

  Q. First of all, can I ask, is that a comprehensive list of
       necessary cleaning or not?
       A. It is comprehensive enough as a check but it is not the
complete schedule, if I could distinguish between the
schedule which is merely a list of things to clean and how
to clean them and how often to clean them which is a very
bulky document, and that is for the instruction and use of
the cleaners and their supervisors. This is a check by the
Jarrett supervisor to indicate that the job has been done
       correctly.

  Q. It may vary, of course, from one piece of equipment or one
piece of the structure to another, but what sort of things,
generally, are they looking for when they do these cleaning
       checks?
       A. First and foremost, to see that the piece of equipment
or the wall or the floor or any other item in the
department is, in fact, clean, that is, free from any
       residues.

  Q. This is a visual check?
       A. A visual check.

  Q. We notice, for example, against "sterilizers" that the man
or woman who checked the sterilizers found that they were
       not washed out?
       A. Yes.

  Q. At what stage in the operation would that check take place?
       A. That would be a check at the end of the ---

  Q. Shift?
       A. -- shift, yes. The end of production cleaning.

  Q. Would that be related to the earlier comment we saw called
       "cleaning contractor"?
       A. Yes. This detailed check is what it purports to be.
The overall comment in the previous, in document 14, is the
