       A. Sorry?

  Q. That is the allegation -----

MR. RAMPTON: The allegation is that Mr. Davis actually told
Mr. Alimi to do it. That is why I insisted it be put.

MR. MORRIS: Did he tell anybody to squeeze fry boxes so that
they could get more chips in them, to get less chips in
them and, therefore, increase the yield out of a kilo, or
       whatever it is, 100 kilos?
       A. No.

  Q. You did not?
       A. No.

MR. MORRIS: I am not sure what the allegation about the till
       was.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Take a moment to find it.

MR. MORRIS: Do you know what the allegation about the till
       was?
       A. If you could point me in the right area -----

  Q. I have no idea.

MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, Mr. Morris ought to have an idea. It is
an allegation made by one of his witnesses,
       Mr. Kevin Harrison.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Mr. Rampton, I wish, in the days when I had
to cross-examine, I remembered everything which I ought to
put. Even big things slip through the net from time to
       time.

MR. RAMPTON: From time to time, the allegation -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Let us just find it.

MR. RAMPTON: It is the postscript to Kevin Harrison's statement
which is, as far as Mr. Davis understands it, paragraph 6
       of his supplementary statement.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: It is divider 18 in the bundle. Have you got
it? It is the top of page 3 of the longhand statement.

MR. MORRIS: Yes. This is Mr. Harrison's statement, who was --
he reached the level of what, Second Assistant or First
Assistant Manager? Do you remember Mr. Harrison now?
       A. I remember Mr. Harrison, yes. He is a salaried
manager. I believe -- I do not believe he got to First
Assistant, but he was definitely a Second Assistant.

  Q. "I was employed as a Second Assistant Manager, training" --
I cannot even read his handwriting.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Let me. There is the suggestion, or one of
the suggestions is that orders would be run through the
till but then cancelled so that they did not show up on the
