Day 086 - 09 Feb 95 - Page 81
We use what our customers say about our restaurants every
time they visit it. It is a big move forward.

Q. But customers would not see what was going on behind the
counter?
A. No, that is why we have -- we marry that with specific
checks, the quarterly health and safety audit that is done,
and various other things. We are moving forward again in
that area.

Q. Is there a specific form for that that is filled in by
whoever?
A. There is always a current health and safety form which
changes, the same one that we used before we will be using
now with some modifications and, undoubtedly, we will be
updating it again shortly.

Q. Who does those audits?
A. The regional health and safety officer would do the
health and safety audit or the Field Service representative
in the Field Service Department.

Q. Then they keep those records when they have filled them,
would they, or would they just throw them away?
A. No, they are kept.

Q. They are kept?
A. Yes.

Q. I am not sure that I have finished, but I will finish
there.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, well done.

MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, I do quarter of an hour or 20 minutes
re-examination. Would your Lordship hear me tonight so
that he can go to Scotland tomorrow?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, I have had people waiting for me since
quarter past four.

MR. RAMPTON: As usual ---

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, I will.

MR. RAMPTON: -- I will be as economic as I possibly can be.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.

MR. RAMPTON: I am grateful to your Lordship.

Re-examined by MR. RAMPTON

Q. Do you still have there, Mr. Atherton, the yellow volume,
called yours and Mr. Wignall's, volume VII? Good. Can you
turn to tab G behind Mr. Wignall's statement? I cannot
give you a number for the page in the file, but I can tell
you that it is page 13 of the documents?
A. Page 13 and 14?
