Day 171 - 11 Oct 95 - Page 22

       Mr. Rampton said about that.

Point 9, rap session -- if I can just do it in the order it
is in and then come back to the clock card sheets -- the
       rap session notes -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Let us have a five minute break there. Five
       past 12.

                         (Short adjournment)

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Mr. Morris, I have assumed that Mr. Logan's
statement was disclosed with the bulk of your other
statement in the summer of 1993. Is that right?

MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, all we got then was the little letter,
and then we found the industrial tribunal file. The long
handwritten statement was served on 10th July 1995, which
is why we activated Mr. Richards; and also because we were
at that stage, or some time after that, told that Mr. Logan
       was coming to court.

MR. MORRIS: Yes. Part of the problem with Mr. Logan was that
       whilst -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I am not asking for any explanation.

MR. MORRIS: If I can say that while he was working for
McDonald's he did not feel able to come and talk about what
was going on there, for maybe obvious reasons.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What are you going to go on to next?

MR. MORRIS: Just the rap session notes. I think that has been
canvassed. Obviously, they must be -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do you want to say anything more about that?

MR. MORRIS: I think the Plaintiffs have relied generally on rap
sessions for how they allow staff to air their grievances.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I do not actually have, do I -- or have
I forgotten them -- notes of rap sessions?

MR. RAMPTON: I was about to say not from Bath. If your
Lordship is interested in the general question what happens
to rap sessions, then there are some, yes.

MR. MORRIS: I think there was one that was disclosed regarding
       the One Every Mile.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. Apart from that, though?

MR. RAMPTON: We have the notes of the rap session on
       16th June 1987 at Putney.

MR. MORRIS: That was the One Every Mile.

MR. RAMPTON: Apart from that, no. I do know -- I think I know
-- that the form of the rap session questionnaires
