Q. Do you remember their names?
A. One was Trudie Jones.

Q. Do you know her well?
A. No -- did I?

Q. Yes.
A. Yes, I did.

Q. Again this is not an enquiry into your personal life; you
and she were boy and girlfriend at one time, am I right?
A. Yes, we were, yes.

Q. Were there other floor managers involved in this business?
A. A couple, yes.

Q. So we have got First Assistant, Trudie Jones at least as a
Second Assistant and maybe three Floor Managers?
A. I think there were two Floor Managers at that stage.

Q. You all talked about these sorts of things amongst
yourselves, did you?
A. Yes, we did, yes.

Q. You did not do anything about them?
A. No.

Q. Do you remember why not?
A. Did not want to cause any trouble.

Q. Did you ever actually meet Mr. Frank Stanton, the
Supervisor? You must have done, must you not?
A. Lots of times, yes.

Q. Did he have a predecessor during your time at Colchester?
A. Yes, he did.

Q. Who was that?
A. He took over from a man called Andrew Husband, I think.

Q. You tell us, Mr. Gibney, in your statement (and you can
look at it if you want, but I have sort of run together
what is there, and I hope to get it right this time, with
what you have told us this morning), during the school
holidays a full-timer might do as much as 60 to 70 hours,
and I think you said, in a week?
A. Yes.

Q. Then you said you yourself did that?
A. Yes, I have done.

Q. You have done. During the school holidays why would it be
necessary for full-timers to do 60 to 70 hours a week?
A. Because every day would be busy because the children
would be coming into town during the week; whereas in the
other times they would not be able to.

Q. But you would correspondingly have, would you not, a much
greater number of part-timers available to work?
