Day 267 - 21 Jun 96 - Page 38

  Q. Right. But you do not remember and you do not actually
       know?
       A. No, I do not. I would assume, or the most likely
       guess would be London Greenpeace.

MR. MORRIS: Are you saying that when you wrote down the word
"'their' McDonald's forms" you are talking about those
       10,000 leaflets?
       A. I do not recall what particular leaflets I am talking
about, but it says "Paul admitted to using Aldgate Press to
       print their McDonald's forms".

  Q. Yes, but that can only refer to the Aldgate Press and the
McDonald's leaflets, yes, that were referred to in the
       previous week?
       A. I do not recall. It does not say.

  Q. Is it not likely then when Paul is referring to "their", he
is actually referring to Hackney and Islington Animal
Rights, who had asked for those leaflets to be printed and
they were mistakenly printed with London Greenpeace address
       on, details on?
       A. I do not recall. In that context it may have been as
being a member of the group; their group, i.e. London
       Greenpeace.

  Q. So, when you write "their McDonald's things", you do not
know whether it was Hackney and Islington Animal Rights or
       London Greenpeace?
       A. From recollection, it would probably have been London
       Greenpeace.

  Q. Talking about those leaflets that we know were printed for
       Hackney and Islington Animal Rights.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Again, you have got to show some economy in
       relation to this.

MR. MORRIS: I understand, but if the witness is confusing two
groups that is quite significant. It may not be
significant to anyone else, but it is to us.

MS. STEEL: If you could go to your notes of the 19th April,
please. Page 24 of your notes.
       A. Thank you.

  Q. You have got a note that only Jane was present at this
meeting. Does that actually say "present"?

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Which date?

  MS. STEEL: 19th April.
       A. Page 107.

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Thank you.

MS. STEEL: You have got a note that, "Only Jane was present at
this meeting. Not a lot discussed. No minutes kept. We
answered a few letters. A lot have been sent in about
McDonald's." This is the one where you said you were
