       I did.

  Q. Was that after you had pestered her continually from the
end of August until about the second week of September?
       A. No.

  Q. Did you tell her that she could have her card back on
       demand?
       A. No.

  Q. Did you recruit a girl called Brandy Wright?
       A. Yes, I did.

  Q. With Christa Rogers and Shawn Darby?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Was that in the parking lot outside the store at about two
       in the morning?
       A. Yes. The store had just closed. She had just got off
work; and I believe earlier that evening we had made plans
with her to meet after work, to talk about something that
I had to talk about to her, which was the union, because
       I was not seeing her.

  Q. Do you, therefore, dispute that she was tired and that you
pushed her into signing, the three of you?
       A. I did not push her into signing. She may have been
tired, but she signed right away.

  Q. When did you first recruit Nicole Owen into your committee?
       A. I believe that was -- she attended both meetings,
I believe, the first one on August 19th and then the second
one on August 25th, when we got the cards, the union cards,
from the Director of Organising; and I believe she signed
that day, because she had said that she wanted to be on the
committee, that she would help us recruit people, so we
gave, you know -- like, to split up the crew, so that each
person could get a couple of signatures.

  Q. Did you give her 10 cards and suggest that she try to sign
       up at least six people?
       A. I may have.

  Q. She -----
       A. But we conformed (sic) a list -- I mean, like, I do not
have the list any more -- of who was responsible for
       talking to who.

  Q. You gave her a list of names, did you?
       A. Well, we each -- sitting at my kitchen table, we went
through the names of the employees, like, "Well, I know
this person, so I will talk to them." She may have said,
"Well, I know this person, so I will talk to them."

  Q. And she did not do it, did she?
       A. I am not sure whether she signed up one or none.
I know that she did not get very far, and she told me that
she was going through a lot with her family that summer.

  Q. As a result of that, did you ring her up all the time,
