       A. I do not. It may well have gone through my desk but
because it has gone to Barlows it may have come down from
Oakbrook to me but I do not really remember. I cannot say
       with any certainty.

  Q. They were required to apologise?
       A. Yes, and obviously they did according to this letter.

  Q. Right. Tab 37, do you remember this seems to be a book
Turning up the heat. It says it is undated but that action
was taken in February 1990. Do you remember this one? It
       must be about rainforests?
       A. The title rings a bell with me but this was at the time
when I was off and on with my sickness, I cannot really
       remember, no.

  Q. Then tab 38 this is Green Seed Magazine?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Do you remember this one? It is an interview with The
       Smiths?
       A. No.

  Q. Do you still have the bundle that we had out this morning
       about Veggies correspondence?
       A. Yes.

  Q. If you have at look in the tab behind it, it should be tab
       209?
       A. 209?

  Q. Yes. Do have you got a letter there from Barlow Lyde &
Gilbert to the Editor of Green Seed Magazine, the
Vegetarian Society, dated 2nd February 1990?
       A. Yes.

  Q. If you have a quick look through that?
       A. Do you want me to read the letter?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: No, just glance through it. There will be
some parts of it which are familiar to you, having read
       other letters this morning?
       A. Yes. (Pause) I cannot remember this but I may well have
been involved, but I certainly cannot remember it.

MS. STEEL: Right. There is a series of correspondence. With
the first letter there is a copy of a ----

  Q. With a policy statement which does not have any kind of
       heading or date on it?
       A. No.

  Q. Then there is a copy of the Sunday correspondence with an
apology and a copy of The Independent Magazine with an
apology. Then there is the famous Prince Philip letter?
       A. Yes.
