Day 185 - 07 Nov 95 - Page 32

  Q. Were you responsible for inviting people to the meeting?
       A. No, I was not.

  Q. Were you encouraging people to go to the meeting?
       A. No, I did not. No, I was not. All I did was ask them
       if they were going.

MR. MORRIS: The people that you said "coming today" are all in
one block, are they not, on that list?
       A. I am sorry, what do you mean by that, they are all in
       one block?

  Q. The ticks on the right-hand side ---
       A. Yes.

  Q. -- that means that they are coming today?
       A. No. I do not know what those ticks are there for.

  Q. You do not know what those ticks are?
       A. No. I am sorry, I do not know. I do not remember.

  Q. Are they all the pro-union people?
       A. I do not know. I cannot remember. Bonnie -- well, no
       I do not think so.

  Q. I am sorry. I mean are they all the anti-union people?
       A. I do not -- I do not think they were all anti-union
       people.

  Q. Was there anyone in that list who was not one of the
       anti-union people?
       A. Well, I do not know if all these people wrote letters,
or signed the petition. I do not know. Like, I do not
know who voted what on that February day.

  Q. You helped the Manager organise this meeting as an
       anti-union meeting, did you not?
       A. No, I did not. This meeting was planned way before.
Cam had -- like, I told Cam on Monday about the
unionisation attempt, and I believe this meeting was on
Tuesday. I knew -- like, I never helped organise anything
       for this meeting.

  Q. Expect that you asked people if they were coming ---
       A. In school -----

  Q. -- made notes to see if they had come, after they had said
they were coming; took the minutes of the meeting on behalf
       of the Manager?
       A. At school, if I saw someone I knew and I was friends
with them, I asked if they were going to the meeting; that
was it. I did not go round school asking everyone; it was
just my friends. Taking the notes, that was just pure
coincidence, because I take notes for myself. I am sure if
someone else had paper and pen in their hand and it was not
me, he would have asked -- and I did not -- he would have
asked them to take notes. It was just pure coincidence.

  Q. You were thinking, during this meeting, "I deserve a
       promotion...."
