       personal attributes?
       A. Yes.

  Q. It is a combined assessment, is it?
       A. Yes, sir.

MS. STEEL: If someone failed on the OCL's but got flying
colours on the personal attributes, then they could get a
       pay rise, you are saying?
       A. I would have to -- I mean it is obviously on individual
cases and what marks they get, how low the marks were on
the OCL's, how high the marks were on the personal
       attributes.

  Q. Have you ever known that to happen? Have you ever known
anyone who has failed on the OCL's to get a pay rise?
       A. I would not be able to quote a specific instance.

  Q. Have you ever known it happen? I am not asking you for the
       name or anything like that.
       A. Well, I would have to look through my files to see if
that has happened. You would have to look at the
       mathematics.

  Q. You cannot remember it happening?
       A. No, I cannot remember it happening.

  Q. What happens if someone does not pass an OCL?
       A. Then they fail it. I mean, it is really to assist the
training of that crew member and to identify the areas in
which they have to improve on their performance.

  Q. Do they get sacked if they fail?
       A. Certainly not, no.

  Q. When you have got a store with a number of crew members,
how many have you got in the Kings Road that would be there
at any one time on average?
       A. At the moment we have 84.

  Q. 84?
       A. On the payroll, yes.

  Q. How do you decide who is responsible, for example, for
seeing that the information board is well-stocked with Mac
Fact cards, diabetic cards and nutrition booklets?
       A. Well, again the lobby host or hostest is responsible
for ensuring that the information board is well-stocked,
and also on the shift check list when the shift manager
checks round the restaurant that is part of their check
       list.

  Q. So who would be marked down if the information board was
       not well-stocked with those things?
       A. Who would be marked down?

  Q. Yes.
       A. The lobby host.

  Q. How would an ordinary crew member who was not responsible
