       report on the right-hand side.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I am grateful for you pointing out 102, but
it just happens to be 102 in the middle of a lot of
unnumbered pages. I have it now.

THE WITNESS: Can you read it? Mine is unreadable.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Mine is quite clear. Do you have a better
       copy for Mr. Oakley?

MS. STEEL: I have a slightly better copy. Then it goes on to
say: "This week Friends of the Earth will call for a
boycott of any products sold in polystyrene containers by
       McDonald's, the multi-billion pound fast-food chain, and
urge consumers only to buy burgers from the company that
       are wrapped in paper".
       A. Yes.

  Q. That is pressure, is it not?
       A. Did they?

  Q. This is a report in the Sunday Times?
       A. No, it says: "They will call for a boycott". My
       question is, did they?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Which page are we on now? You said page 102?
       A. Yes, this one.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I am reading something which is page 102 in
the bottom right-hand corner which is all about Koch. It
is the right-hand side? I would like it back then.
       (Handed).

MS. STEEL: This is a report in a national newspaper in this
       country?
       A. Yes, I am aware of the Sunday Times.

  Q. Yes. This is linking McDonald's with the use of packaging
made with CFCs and the use of that packaging causing damage
       to the ozone layer?
       A. Yes, that is what it says, yes.

  Q. Are you saying that that would not worry the company?
       A. I cannot remember any concern at that time.

  Q. There is a quote from McDonald's at the bottom, halfway
through, it says: "A spokesman for McDonald's said that it
was extremely unfair to blame the end of the world on their
cartons or any other polystyrene products which use the
       offending carbons."
       A. Yes, I agree.

  Q. There is a quote later on as well from a McDonald's
representative saying: "McDonald's says it will carry on
using the carbons in its cartons unless advised by its
manufacturers to stop. The company's London spokesman said
that because it was not 'firmly established that the
carbons were causing problems to the ozone layer, there was
no need to consider not using them'. However, she said the
