important witness though he may be, that should be ample
time to put that which is necessary. I hope, in fact, you
can complete it before one o'clock on Monday, but that is
the time both you, Ms. Steel and Mr. Morris, have between
you to complete your cross-examinations of Mr. Claire.

MS. STEEL: OK. Can I just actually say something about this
afternoon, which is that we have got a legal meeting and,
basically, it will start as soon as we get there any time
after half past four. If we do not get there until after
that, then, obviously, we will have to -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You organise yourselves as you wish, but you
have got until one o'clock on Monday, even if we have some
discussion on Monday about timetable and procedure, to
complete your cross-examination. If you want me to rise a
little earlier than normal this evening so be it, but I
will not extend time for completing Mr. Claire's
cross-examination beyond one o'clock on Monday.

  MS. STEEL: OK.
