       paragraph 22 of your statement.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I should know this by now, but what is the
difference between a paper wrap and a paper bag?
       A.  A paper wrap is actually wrapped around the product;
the product goes inside the paper bag.

MS. STEEL: Do you know roughly how long customers keep their
burgers they purchase before they eat them?
       A. No.

  Q. You have no idea?
       A. No. Why would I have? I am sure they are all
       different.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: If you asked 100 people you would get a 100
       different answers.

MS. STEEL: I was not after a particularly specific answer, just
kind of in terms of -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What are you trying to get at?

MS. STEEL: It is not likely to be longer than about a quarter
       of an hour, is it?
       A. I have no idea, I told you.

  Q. You do not know?
       A. I do not know. I deal with Purchasing, Quality
Assurance and Communications. I do not deal with
operations. I do not know how long customers keep their
       products before eating them.

  Q. When they eat them in the store -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I have assumed you have the same polystyrene
foam containers for particular items; whether they are
handed to someone over the counter to take to a table in
the restaurant or whether they are handed over a take-away
       counter?
       A. That is correct.

  Q. In the way McDonald's serve, can you tell whether the
person is going to go straight and sit at a table or walk
out into the street or not?
       A. We normally ask: "Is this eat in or take away?"

  Q. Everything will be put in a bag for them there?
       A. Yes. How soon after they would eat it, I would not
       know.

  Q. But the fact is, if it is a Big Mac it goes into a certain
       kind of container, willy-nilly?
       A. Yes, it does.

MS. STEEL: Customers that sit down in the restaurant, as far as
you are aware, do they normally sit around for 10, 15
minutes before they eat their food?
       A. I have told you, I have no responsibility in the
       restaurants.
