     1
MS. STEEL: Another one we have not seen.
     2
MR. RAMPTON: Yes, another one you have not seen.
     3
MR. MORRIS: Can we have copies of them?
     4
MR. RAMPTON: Yes, of course you can, when we have had time to
     5 do it.

6 MR. JUSTICE BELL: When you say "it is another one we have
found", do you mean it is the only one?
     7
MR. RAMPTON: Yes. I have not got any other copy of this at
8 moment. I apologise for that. We should have made
copies. It is the only that exists. There are no other
9 originals. So we must make photocopies. We have not done
it. We apologise for that. There is one feature of this
10 United States document to which I want to draw your
attention. May I pass it up? I would like you to turn to
11 the page which I put a yellow Post-it sticker in, please.
(Handed). Before you look at that I have a question. You
12 will have noticed in the UK version for October 1984, that
there was no breakdown in the fat content between total
    13 fat and saturated fat?
              A. That is right.
    14
         Q. Please turn to the page I flagged there which is the
15 United States in April 1987?
              A. Yes.
    16
         Q. Is the fat content broken down?
    17 A. Yes, it is.

    18 Q. How?
              A. Well, it gives total fat and then it gives the values
19 for the individual fatty acid, namely monounsaturates, the
polyunsaturates and the saturated fatty acids.
    20
         Q. Again I ask you this question. For the American consumer
21 in April 1987 who is interested in his nutritional
welfare, is that information relevant or irrelevant?
22 A. It is extremely relevant.

23 Q. Thank you. Perhaps you would pass that to his Lordship.
We will undertake to have copies made.
    24
MR. JUSTICE BELL: I think it is better it comes back to
25 Mrs. Brinley-Codd. What I would really like by the time
we come back, when we have pink volume VI, I would like
    26 section A completed with 4E, 4F, 4 whatever, with such
extra booklets as we have, and in the right-hand margin
27 such dates as we have been able to find. I think it would
help -- I notice under 2 in section A it has the UK in
28 brackets -- I think against all these booklets we should
have what your case is, Mr. Rampton, as to where they were
29 published, US, UK or both, so that I can see at a glance.

30 MR. RAMPTON: We will put a little notice on each one of the
country and the date of publication.
