  Q. You had to up sticks and move to Milton Keynes?
       A. Yes, I did.

  Q. I do not know whether you used the word, but it is
impression I got that you were not given any choice, you
were told that you had to go to Milton Keynes; is that
       right?
       A. I was told that it would help my progression in the
Company and to become a salaried Manager if I agreed to
       move there, yes.

  Q. You were not very happy at Milton Keynes; is that right?
       A. No, I was not.

  Q. Did you miss your family and friends?
       A. A bit, yes.

  Q. I dare say you did not get on with the Manager?
       A. The Manager was OK. The Assistant, one Assistant
Manager I did not get on with.

  Q. Did you have a feeling that the management there was a bit
       cliquey?
       A. Yes, a bit, yes.

  Q. You thought that they worked you too hard and were unfair
       to you?
       A. It was a very busy store.

  Q. Up to then you had been quite a successful, in fact, a very
successful, McDonald's employee, had you not?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Because you were very young to be promoted to the salaried
       management programme?
       A. Yes.

  Q. You do not feel very well disposed towards McDonald's now,
       do you, Mr. Gibney?
       A. I would not say I have any particular opinion --
       I still eat there.

  Q. When all these wicked things were going on, like working 18
year olds past 12 o'clock and watering down the customers'
stuff that the customers had paid for, did it occur to you
that it should not be happening?
       A. Yes, it did, yes.

  Q. Did you mention it to anybody?
       A. Well, we, the managers in general, spoke about it. We
       could not believe it.

  Q. So you, the managers, that is to say, everyone, of course,
but the wicked Mark Davis, you, the managers, must have
been what, presumably, a First Assistant, perhaps two, were
       there?
       A. Yes, Ray Coton was the First Assistant.

  Q. And must have been, at any rate, one Second Assistant?
       A. Maybe two.
