Day 311 - 06 Dec 96 - Page 12

       "had".

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.

MR. RAMPTON: On that same page in paragraph 2, the last line,
the first word, the word "group", should not have an
inverted comma in front of it.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I do not have one.

MR. RAMPTON: Your Lordship is lucky, then! Good.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Oh, I see. In the last line, not the first
       line?

MR. RAMPTON: Yes, in the last line. The statement should be in
inverted commas, but not the word "group" by itself.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. The next one is?

MR. RAMPTON: The next one is on page 14, my Lord,
paragraph 5.3. The side note has another of those floating
words in it. You see there is a gap in front of "his
role", in the fourth line of sub-paragraph 3; that should
be filled by the "with" which is found in the parallel side
note at the front of the line.

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.

MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, the same thing has happened at the top of
page 18. The word "would" which is at the beginning of the
second line of the side note should follow the word "this",
not be where it is, but should follow the word "this" in
the first line or the second line of the text.

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.

MR. RAMPTON: On page 20, my Lord, last line but one in the
page, the word "Haringey" should not have two r's. I do
not know if your Lordship's has.

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.

MR. RAMPTON: For what it is worth. My Lord, then turning to
malice -- again, these are pretty trivial points but -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do not worry about spelling mistakes.

MR. RAMPTON: All right. I will not worry about spelling
mistakes then, or anything like that; or, indeed, layout.
There is nothing else in malice, then, my Lord. That is
just a mistake. There are a couple of references which
I will give your Lordship when I come to malice, if I may.

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.

MR. RAMPTON: Additional references. First page of
counterclaim, which is tab 3, 1.2, it reads: "Meaning D
adds nothing to A and B, nor 2". It should be "do".
