Day 272 - 02 Jul 96 - Page 64
groups in bulk; Veggies is one of them and Arc Print is
another".
A. Yes.

Q. "Both of them are able to put local group's details on their
leaflet. If you wish to get leaflets printed for October
16th, you must get in touch very soon because it takes
considerable time to do printing and a week for the parcel
post".
A. Yes.

Q. Are you there telling the recipients of this document if
you want our fact sheet from us do not be greedy because we
have not got many, send a large stamped addressed envelope;
if you want them in bulk get them from Veggies or Arc
Printing?
A. No.

Q. That is not correct?
A. No. What I mean by that is if a local group wants it
own A5/A4, whatever version of the leaflet, produced for
it, Veggies or Arc Print would be able to provide that.

Q. Okay. Well now, I must ask you to look at another file, I
am afraid. It is called yellow 2 and it has got
publication written on the back of it as well.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do you mind getting it yourself? The Clerk,
I am sure -- if you want to help, please do, but I am sure
Mr. Gravett will not mind getting it. Yes, yellow 2.

MR. RAMPTON: Yellow 2, my Lord. Tab 5C.
A. Yes, statement of Allan Claire.

Q. That is right. Before I ask you any questions - I am not
going to ask you to look at his statement, that would be
pointless, but I am going to ask you to look at some
photographs. Before I ask you about the photographs, am I
right by 1989, 1990 the so-called open or public meetings,
although sometimes no members of the public turned up, were
held regularly on the last Thursday of every month?
A. Yes.

Q. And is it also right that at those meetings there would be
sets of different London Greenpeace leaflets available for
people to pick up and take away with them?
A. Well, anyone who came to the meeting could bring
whatever leaflets they wished and whoever had been to the
office first, say, to answer some letters or just dropped
in may take some leaflets from the office to those public
meetings.

Q. And, at any rate, on some of those occasions the
anti-McDonald's fact sheet would be one of those that
somebody brought along to one of those meetings?
A. Perhaps somebody. Not me.

Q. No. Are you saying you never saw the anti-McDonald's fact
sheet at any of those 6 Endsleigh Street meetings?
A. If you are talking about the meetings in 1990 --
