Day 275 - 08 Jul 96 - Page 34

The next thing is in Mr. Bishop's notes of 24th May.
Mr. Bishop says about Alan and Roseanne arriving together,
and he says something else later about them being
together. Yes, he says her friend -- he talks about her
friend. Thinking back, I am pretty sure I know who
Roseanne is and, if it is who I think she is, she was not a
friend of Alan, and obviously Alan is Mr. Claire who has
not said anything about attending with her, and I think
this is just an assumption that has been made by Mr. Bishop
in the same way that he makes assumptions about the way
that the group operates and who is supposedly in charge.

The other thing on this page is that he talks about
London Greenpeace not caring about whether money was
supposed to be going to Greenpeace International from the
musicians network or whether it was supposed to be for
       Greenpeace London.

MR. MORRIS: That is at the bottom of the page?
       A. Supposedly someone said that it did not matter as long
as it was the Greenpeace London that actually got the
money. Well, that is just to say that the musicians
network shared an office with Greenpeace London and they
were a group that had regular contact with Greenpeace
London and they would know exactly who the group was and
who they were trying to give money to, so that is basically
untrue, what he has written there.

Page 124, Mr. Bishop says that Anthony makes a comment
that neither Helen or Dave, the two signatories to the bank
account, had been to a meeting for some months. Obviously,
as I have said, Mr. Morris was not a signatory to the
account. I had certainly been to a meeting that
Mr. Pocklington was at within the last month anyway so I
would not have thought that he would make that comment.

What is described about me arriving with a specific
request from Dave that I be told about what was going to
happen at a public meeting next week, and that the whole
matter was discussed again and then I telephoned Dave
Morris who had a long talk with Marion via the telephone.
I mean, I can say categorically that this would not have
happened in the way that has been described here. It is
possible that I bumped into to Mr. Morris and he, for
example, gave me a copy of this leaflet about the Trafalgar
Square defendant's campaign and said "could I bring that up
at a meeting" and that he said, "Oh, yes, and what is going
on generally, what is the next public meeting about", or
something like that, and I would relay that to the
meeting. But I would not run around trying to get
everything done for him, or I would not be acting under his
       instructions.

Mr. Pocklington describes it as Mr. Morris
telephoning, and I think that is far more likely, that
Mr. Morris telephoned in and asked what was going on with
the meeting next week and then spoke to Marion. I really
cannot believe that I would telephone Dave Morris just to
hand him to Marion, who was well acquainted with Dave
