Day 260 - 11 Jun 96 - Page 69

       A. No, these notes were written the following day, so far
       as I know.

  Q. Would you accept that you may have got it wrong and that I
was actually organising the printing of the IMF leaflets?
       A. The IMF is not mentioned at all in that context, so I
would assume that I was not incorrect.

  Q. At this stage of time you cannot remember?
       A. Unfortunately, no.

  Q. Can I just say that if there is any -- I mean, obviously we
are going to have the argument about blanked out parts and
the other spies' notes on Thursday, but this was a thing
I brought up the other day, that Mr. Rampton, on a previous
occasion, had said that every reference to us was left in
and also everything to do with McDonald's he said was left
in. In actual fact, parts of the blanked out -- the parts
of the notes of 13th September, which were blanked out,
actually related to me giving out my telephone number to do
with the IMF picket, which is why I was particularly
concerned that that has been blanked out, and yet we were
told that, you know, all relevant information had been
       disclosed.

So, if there is anything about the IMF in the notes of the
       20th -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Take me to the notes. Pages 187 and 188.

MS. STEEL: I have not got pages numbers, I am afraid.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: The 13th September, 1990.

  MS. STEEL: Yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Where is the part blanked out?

MS. STEEL: The part that was blanked out is the paragraph, the
third paragraph on another subject, right down to right at
the end of that paragraph, "by London Greenpeace against
the IMF". The whole of that paragraph was blanked out and
that is the bit that has my phone number in the middle of
       it.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: But it is in now. I am sorry, I am no doubt
being slow. What is the point you are making?

MS. STEEL: The point is that I am very concerned that -- I
mean, we have been told that everything relevant has been
disclosed and yet we were told that on a previous occasion,
and then when this was disclosed it actually turns out that
there was relevant information in it. That is what my
concern is, that Mr. Rampton's idea of what is relevant may
not be the same as ours.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: No. Make sure that either you or Mr. Hall --
the principles have to be discussed on Thursday, although
it may be that there will be little or no difference
between Mr. Hall when we come to the principles. The
