  Q. Right. So how many meetings do you recall me being at?
       A. What my notes will refer to. I mean, I can't mentally
recall other than what my notes state.

  Q. Right. So have you got the impression how many I attended?
       A. Without referring to my notes, I would not like to
       guess.

  Q. So you have no idea if it was five, ten, fifteen or
       anything?
       A. It would not have been as many as fifteen. I would be
guessing. It probably may have been five, if five that I
attended. From what I recall of my notes.

  Q. So really it is entirely based on your notes what your
       recollection is?
       A. I recall you were there but only from my notes.

  Q. I am trying to give, I am now seeing if his impressions are
       based on his notes?
       A. No, no, I am referring to the notes made at the time
and if my notes say you were there, then you were there.

  Q. I understand that, and if the notes do not mention me then
       I was not there?
       A. Then you were not there.

  Q. Right. So have you got any impressions of me not relied on
from your notes of being at meetings where I might have
sat? General things; what I might say, what I may be
       wearing?
       A. I don't see the question, sorry.

  Q. Have you got any impressions of me from memory?
       A. Physically or--

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I think you have got to be more specific
than that because we infer from what Mr. Claire said he has
got an impression of what you look like.

MR. MORRIS: Well, he saw a photo.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: If you are asking whether he has got any
particular impression about you said or did, put to it him
       rather more specifically.

MR. MORRIS: Well, I want to know if in reality you have any
impression at all, after six years, of any kind?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Apart from what you have been shown a photograph?
       A. Yes. I can recall your physical appearance at that
       time.

  Q. You can?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Can you describe my physical appearance at that time then?
       A. From memory you had a beard, jet black beard with black
