Scrapbook
Create your own scrapbook with text, clip art, pictures and backgrounds.
- Click on the “Scrapbook” to open the “Projects” window.
The “Projects” window
- Click the “New” button” to open a new project.
- Enter a new name in the “Enter scrapbook name” window.
- Choose one of the paper orientation options from drop down list:
- Portrait (3:4)
- Landscape (4:3)
- Square (1:1)
- The new project will now appear in the projects list.
- Delete a project by selecting one from the list and clicking the “Delete” button.
- Copy a project by selecting one from the list and clicking the “Copy” button, then type a new name and click the “OK” button.
The “Design” window
- Click the “Design” tab to open the window.
- Add pages - add a new page by clicking on the “Add page” button. The new page will appear in the left list window.
- Delete pages - delete a page by selecting one from the list and clicking the “Delete” button.
- Set color - add a solid background color. Click on the “Set background color” button to open the “Color” window. Select a color and click “OK“.
- Add background pattern - click on one of the patterns in the patterns window.
- Add frame - click on one of the frames in the frames window.
The “Edit” window
- Click the “Edit” tab to open the window.
- Add text - click the “Add text” button and type text in the “Add text” box.
- Change font - select the font from the “Select font” drop down list.
- Font size - select the font size from the drop down list.
- Select font style- Select the “Bold“, “Italic” or “Underline” buttons to change the font to bold or italic or to underline the text.
- Font color - click the “Set color” button to change the color of the text, choose a color in the “Color” box and click “OK“.
- Text alignment- align the text left, right or center by selecting “Left Justify Text“, “Right justify text” or “Center text” respectively.
- Position text - once the text is displayed in the page, you have the ability to position it anywhere on it. To position it, simply click on the caption with the right mouse button, and then drag the text to the location that you would like the text to appear.
- Add image - add a photo.
- Click the “Add image” button and open the “Select image” window.
- Thumbnails strip:
- Add images manually by dragging them from “My computer“, albums or connected removable storage devices into the thumbnails strip.
- Add an image by clicking the “Open image” button, browse your computer to select an image and click the “OK” button.
- Add all the images in an album by clicking the “Select album” button then select an album from the list and click the “OK” button.
- Delete an image from the thumbnails strip by selecting one and clicking the “Delete image” button.
- Remove all images from the thumbnails strip by clicking the “Clear all” button.
- Select the photo you wish to add.
- Scale photo - slide to the “Image zoom” slider right or left to enlarge or reduce the image size.
- Crop template - click the “Crop” button. Adjust the area you want cropped by dragging the adjustable highlighted frame. Click the “Apply” button to execute the command.
- Click “OK“.
- Resize photo - click and position the mouse pointer over one of the picture corners. Drag the corner until the object is in the correct size.
- Bring to Front - select text, clip art or image and click the “To front” button to position on top.
- Send to back - select the text, clip art or image and click the “To back” button to send to the back.
- Delete element - select text, clip art or image and click the “Delete element” button to remove from the page.
The “Clipart” window
- Click the “Clipart” tab to open the window.
- Select a clipart category from the drop down list, the clipart items will appear in the window.
- Click on a clipart item in the window to add to the page.
- Position clipart - you have the ability to position the clipart anywhere within the page. To position it, simply click on the clipart with the right mouse button, and then drag it to the location that you would like it to appear.
- Resize- click and position the mouse pointer over one of the clip art corners. Drag the corner until the object is in the correct size.
- Bring to top - select text or clip art and click the button to position on top.
- Send to back - select text or clip art and click the button to send to the back.
- Delete clip art- select the clip art and click the “Delete clip art” button to remove it from your sticker.
The “Share” window
- Click the “Print” tab to open the window.
- Select the paper size you want from the drop down list.
- Copies - type in the number of copies you want
- Print all pages - select the option to print all the scrapbook pages.
- Print selected page - select the option to print the currently selected page that you see in the center window (one page).
- Click the “Print” button to print your scrapbook page(s).
- Export to JPEG - select “Export all pages” to save the project pages in the “ScrapBook Exported” folder/directory in My Pictures/Pictures and in the “ScrapBook Exported” album under “My Computer”.
Export to JPEG - select “Export selected page” to save currently selected page in the “ScrapBook Exported” folder/directory in My Pictures/Pictures and in the “ScrapBook Exported” album under “My Computer”. - Save project- click the “Save” button to save your project.
- Close project- click the “Close” button to exit.
- Previous and Next- click the “Previous” and “Next” button to go to the previous or next tabs.
