Rally Raid MONGOL Honorary President
Mongol President

In 1995, we at SSER, together with all the participants, achieved great success in the 1st Rally Raid MONGOL held in the vast Gobi Desert. It was especially impressive after all of the hard work and effort, and considering the fact that our country, Mongria, had only limited experience in motor sports up to that time. We had never hosted nor organized an international rally event as big as the Rally Raid MONGOL, but thanks to the hard work of so many individuals, businesses, and participants, an inspiring display of sportsman-ship was accomplished.
It is my great pleasure and honor to announce that this event will be held again this year, with a newly established 4WD class and with new people and friends. Living in this difficult time, it is my sincere hope to be of some help to society and the environment by establishing a new international sporting event together with the people of Asia. I hope more and more people will join us this meaningful event.
Thank you very much for your help and assistance.

General Chairman

A DRAMATIC MOMENT

Losing my way in the middle of the desert,
I'm faced with great fear; alone again. How many times must I go through this ? Until I get used to this feeling of being lost.
How can I explain.
How dreadful and helpless the moment can be,
But still it can't prevent me from racing.
At the end of a long hard day,
When I reach the finish line,
I see the blue light flashing,
Reassuring me that I don't have to go on anymore.
And I realize.
The reason why I'm racing.
The answer is the RALLY RAID MONGOL-In August 1996,
Our next expedition will begin.
Join us on an adventure to the majestic Altay Mountains,
In Mongolia, the mystic land of wonders...
