BOOT.SYS makes it possible to display one or more menus at boot-up time and to
have different parts of CONFIG.SYS and/or AUTOEXEC.BAT executed depending on
which menu option(s) are chosen.
Many people need different versions of CONFIG.SYS depending on what application
they are going to run. In the past you had to either rename or edit your
startup files and reboot to get a different setup. Now this process has become
much easier and safer by using BOOT.SYS.
BOOT.SYS is distributed as shareware which means that you may try it out for
free and share it with your friends and associates as long as you respect the
license agreement in the accompanying documentation. If BOOT.SYS serves your
needs and you keep it installed on your PC after the initial trial period then
you must register. The registration fee is SFR 70.- (Swiss Franks) or US $39.
