Super-Duper for IOTA (SDI).
SDI is an amateur radio contest logging program for the RSGB
IOTA (Islands On The Air) contest. It will run on any PC with
512k or more memory and 1 diskette drive.
SDI is easy to use because no multiple keystrokes are needed
for logging or editing.
SDI is FreeWare, and may be freely distributed.
I can be contacted at okanep@iol.ie.

_____________________________________________________________________
All the relevant files for the 1996 IOTA contest
are contained in the file SDI805.EXE or SDI805.ZIP.
If you have SDI805.EXE, do the following.
1. Load the distribution diskette in Drive A:
2. C:\>MD SDI (You type MD SDI)
Make a directory SDI on your hard disk.
3. C:\>CD SDI (You type CD SDI)
Change to directory SDI on your hard disk.
4. C:\SDI>A:SDI805 (You type A:SDI805)
Unpacks all the files.
If you have SDI805.ZIP do the following.
(You must already have PKUNZIP.EXE).
1. C:\>MD SDI (You type MD SDI)
Make a directory SDI on your hard disk.
2. C:\>CD SDI (You type CD SDI)
Change to directory SDI on your hard disk.
3. Copy SDI805.EXE to your SDI directory.
4. C:\SDI>PKUNZIP SDI805 (You type PKUNZIP SDI805)
Unpacks all the files.
Now you're ready to try SDI. Please read SDI-READ.ME.

________________________________________________________________
IMPORTANT:
SDI uses conventional memory, the lower 640k, and runs on
any PC. The more conventional memory you make available,
the more QSOs you can log in the contest.
With 613k available memory, you'll have space for 2500 QSOs.
If you expect to have more QSOs, you should delete all lines
in the DXCC.CTY file EXCEPT the one line corresponding to
your own country. This will give the potential for 2900
QSOs. If you need extra capacity, delete all records in the
IOTA.REF file except the one for your own island. If you're
not on an island, delete all IOTA.REF records except the
first. This will give the potential for 3200 QSOs.
Neither DXCC.CTY nor IOTA.REF need be up-to-date for SDI to
score QSOs and identify multipliers correctly. It does NOT
matter if countries or islands are missing.
