Installating Bridge for Windows Shareware Version
To install Bridge for Windows, follow these steps:
Before you can use Bridge for Windows you have to run the setup program
from Windows so it will work properly on your computer. You cannot just
copy the files from the Bridge for Windows disk to your hard disk. The
files on the distribution disk are packed in a special way to save space.
The setup program unpacks those files and builds them on your working disk.
Bridge for Windows installation will pre-install the Visual Basic runtime
DLL on your system, if you do not already have a version. Other runtime
files will be installed in the appropriate directory. Windows version
stamping resources will be used to ascertain if a file should be copied
to your computer.
1. From the DOS Prompt: Use PKUNZIP Version 2.04 or higher and unzip the
file into a single directory, such as C:\Bridge. The following files
are included in the zip file.
