- AW's Magic Icons V2.0
- =======================
-
- Here is my second MagicWB icon collection. These icons are mostly
- original, but some are modified (and improved I think :-) from
- other MagicWB icons and other 'standard' icons (isn't MagicWB
- standard by now? :-). I have also included some of the better icons
- from AWMWB1, such as the non-lace disk icons, probably the most
- useful in the collection.
-
- All icons are standard size so you don't have to have an uneven
- display if you don't want to.
-
- All the drawer icons have empty drawers behind them, so you can
- use IconUpdate or similar program to update your old drawers.
-
- There are also some icons designed for non-interlaced displays.
- The only MWB icons that don't look right on non-interlaced displays
- are the disk ones I feel, so I've designed these so they look a
- bit better and take up less space. I've seen SmallMWB or what
- ever it is, and quite frankly the icons in it suck.
-
- I also don't include any pics of my WB in archives either -
- it only horrendously increases the size of the archive, and I don't
- honestly think it interests people that much.
-
- *MOTE* - These icons are designed for MagicWB2 or above,
- running MagicWBDaemon or a similar utility. Otherwise
- they may look a bit wierd on your WB depending on how many
- colours you are using.
-
- ICONS IN THIS DISTRIBUTION
-
- Apps - OctaMED - Icon using part of the keyboard from OctaMED2.
- Imagine - I've never seen an icon for this, strange
- considering the popularity. A cube as seen
- in the detail editor becoming 'rendered'.
- DTP - A standard DTP icon. Modified from Martin
- Huttenloher's original dock.
- Sound Editor - Once again modified from Martin's Dock.
- Video Drawer - For general video applications. A tape.
- AMOS Drawer - Drawer with AMOS on it.
- AMOS - Icon with reduced size AMOS from the original
- AMOS icon. This is another icon I'm surprised
- I haven't seen before.
- AMOS Pro - Again, reduced size AMOS icon with the 'Pro'
- backdrop.
- Cinemorph - Modified from Rom's SuperView drawer, with
- drawer a reduced version of my morphed Mona Lisa as
- the alternative image.
- Cinemorph - Modified from Rom's SuperView icon. The
- alternative image was actually generated by
- Cinemorph, and though it is truly disgusting
- it also allows us to see that the Mona
- Lisa was infact modelled on Adolph Hitler! :-)
- Photogenics - A camera.
- Drawer
- C64Emulator - An icon for Commodore 64 emulators. The
- BASIC bytes free is wrong though, I can't
- remember what is was :-( 32768? Anyway,
- I just left it at 32000. Maybe in the next
- collection.
- ComicSetter - Shows POW and BOOM when pressed, in comic
- tradition.
- XCAD - Just an alternative to the standard MagicWB
- CAD icons that uses the name of the program
- instead of an actual image.
-
- Commod- - Exchange - Modified from Martin's Exchange icon and
- ities Commodity background. Once again, I've
- always wondered why Martin didn't give
- the commodities their own icons.
- Autopoint - Shows the active status of two drawers
- changing.
- ClicktoFront - Shows a window moving in front of another.
- Blanker - Modified from a couple of other blanker icons
- I had lying around. By Rom and Tau I think.
- CrossDOS - Shows a disk with DF0:???? underneath changing
- to MS-DOS.
- FKey - Basically just an icon by Tau (I think).
- MouseBlanker - Shows a pointer disappearing when an 'A' is
- typed into a shell window.
- NoCaps - Once again from an icon by Tau (I think).
- Modified to show the Caps Lock light on, then
- off even when the button has been pressed.
-
- Coms - Download - A simple download icon, arrow towards computer.
- Upload - A simple upload icon, arrow away from computer.
-
- DirOpus - DirOpus - Modified from Martin's original File
- Manager dock.
- "Config - A prefs icon with the DirOpus icon on it.
-
- Disks - Disk - A smaller disk icon for use on non-laced
- displays. The aspect ratio isn't right,
- but it looks better than the standard one
- on non-laced displays.
- Kick - As above, but a kick icon. Use an icon
- editor that can handle kick icons, or
- Icon Update to copy to def_kick.
- HD - A HD icon for non-laced displays, correct
- aspect ratio. From Martin's original.
- RAM - A smaller RAM icon for non-laced displays.
-
- Games F1GP - Modified Microprose icon.
- F1GP2 - Based on FIA's integrated F1 logo.
- F1GP3 - Standard sized icon.
- F1GPEd - A preferences icon for F1GPEd (sort of a
- prefs program)
- Racing - A drawer icon for F1GP.
- ArcadeAdven - Drawer icon (a gun).
- AnotherWorld - Icon showing 'Another World' text/logo.
- Since Delphine (for some reason known only
- to them) decided to tell everyone to load
- AW (and FB) on HD from the CLI, I have
- attached IconX scripts to these icons, to
- load the games. This means you will have to
- copy icon and file using drag and drop,
- rather than using IconUpdate or similar prog.
- Flash-back - Icon showing 'Flashback' text + script.
- Do not rename this icon to 'Flashback'. Since
- the program file is 'Flashback', I decided to
- just add the hyphen to get a different name
- for the script.
- GraphicAdven - Shows a LucasFilm/Arts type button asking
- you to open it when closed and vice versa.
- Adventure - Simple arrow and N for North. More for
- text adventures.
- Golf - Club, tee and ball.
- FlightSim - Reduced size F15 from Mark Sorenson's F15
- Drawer icon which I suspect was modified from
- Microprose's original icon.
- FlightSim - Ditto.
- Cards - A drawer for card games.
- Airbrush - Icon for KlondikeIII cardset. Reduced size
- and recoloured from Reko's icon.
- C64 - Redrawn to be a standardized icon.
- Default - Modified from Rom's Klondike icon.
- Puzzled - Ditto, with different symbols.
- Standard - Modified from Rom's Klondike icon.
- WBGames - Shows a small game of Tetris, in a WB window.
- Drawer For the FMS collection of WBGames.
- 15 - Depicts a game of 15.
- Boulder - Depicts a game of Boulder.
- Boxman - Depicts a game of Boxman.
- Columns - Depicts a game of Columns.
- Mine - Depicts a game of Mines.
- Tetris - Depicts a game of Tetris.
-
- System - All modified from Martin's original icons, now standard size.
-
- Tools - HDBackup - Constructed from Rom's standard size and
- JTE's moving drive head/cover icons.
- HDToolBox - As above.
-
- Utils - QBTools - Detail from QBTools2.
-
- IconUpdate - Modified from Martin's original icon. Now
- standard sized.
- DMSWin - Large disk becoming small disk in window.
- Install - Another one of those ones that there should
- be but ain't. A decent install icon.
- Mostra - Rom's standard picture displayer icon
- fading in (as a picture does in Mostra).
- SuperView - I thought Rom's SuperView icon was excellent,
- except he forgot that SuperView is a
- commodity, and as such deserves a commodity
- background.
- DKB Drawer - A drawer to put DKB Magicmem in (see below).
- DKB's logo on the drawer.
- def_ - A nice sized non-lace icon to use as a back-
- background ground for PictIcon's icons. Copy the icon
- to env:sys/, and modify these tooltypes in
- PictIcon's icon:
- BACKGROUND_ICON=env:sys/def_background
- CENTER=YES
- PIC_X_POS=4
- PIC_Y_POS=1
- PIC_X_SIZE=93
- PIC_Y_SIZE=45
- ASPECT_X=2.5
- ASPECT_Y=1
-
- WBStartup PC0 - For a PC0: icon I now use my CrossDOS icon.
- (If you mount PC0: in WBStartup you don't
- get a PC0:???? icon under DF0:. See
- the Commodities drawer for this icon (I
- didn't want to put it in two different
- places).
- DiskSpare - Same as above, but for the DiskSpareDevice.
- DKB Magicmem - ShowConfig icon with DKB logo on.
- M(ulti)tool1 - Similar to Rom's icon, but with the tools
- popping out of the knife when the icon is
- pressed.
- M(ulti)tool2 - Same as above, but with commodity background.
- Starblank - If you like seeing stars as your blanker.
- Trashmaster1 - MagicWB trashcan on commodity background.
- Redrawn by hand rather than scaling. For
- Trashmaster or similar AppIcon Trashcan
- startup program.
- Trashmaster2 - Alternative MagicWB trashcan, redrawn
- by hand once again.
- VirusChecker - With a little surprise for the nasty virus :-)
