Hello and welcome to MindSpring and the Internet.
You are currently reading this message in Eudora which is an
Internet Electronic Mail ( E-mail ) program by Qualcomm Inc.
The Menu Bar above has a selection called "Message" and within that
menu are several selections. Choose "Reply" from this pull down menu.
(Notice that this is where the "New Message" choice is as well )
You are now ready to tell us that you are on line. Write us a short note in the
body of the message telling us that you are surfing the net.
Now click on the Send button, and watch your message as it is being mailed.
Let's now check to see if we have any new mail. Choose "File" from the
menu bar, and select "Check Mail". If you have new mail, Eudora will alert
you and you will see a message with a dot next to it. The dot tells you
that, you
have not read that message yet. Double- click on that line and your new message
will appear.
You have now successfully sent and received E-mail on the internet.
