Install SlapGammon.prc onto your Palm OS device:
On Windows, go to the Start Menu -> Programs -> Palm Desktop -> Install Tool. Alternately, you can double click on SlapGammon.prc.
On Macintosh, drag SlapGammon.prc into the "Install Handheld Files" window of the Palm software, or click on the "Add To List" button and navigate to the file. Perform a HotSync operation to install the file on your Palm.
SlapGammon comes with a built-in bear off database which gives cubeless accuracy to within 2% for the end-game, after contact is broken. If you desire greater accuracy, you can install SGBearOff.pdb onto your Palm (requires an additional 420K of memory) and SlapGammon will automatically recognize it. End-game accuracy improves to +/- 0.5%.
SlapGammon comes with a HotSync conduit which can be used to transfer matches and positions to the PC. It will save recorded matches as .mat files, usable by Jellyfish and Snowie. It saves positions as Jellyfish .pos files. (As of this writing, there is no way to import single positions into Snowie).
To install the conduit, go to the conduit subdirectory and run CondInstall.exe.
