Keyboard > CTRL+N

New clears the contents of the current scene without changing system settings (viewport configuration, snap settings, Material Editor, background image, and so on).

Procedure

To create a new scene:

1. Choose File > New or press CTRL+N.

2. In the New Scene dialog, specify the types of objects to keep, if any.

3. Click OK.

Interface

The New Scene dialog has the following controls.

Keep Objects and Hierarchy: Keeps the objects and the hierarchical links between them, but removes any animation keys.

Keep Objects: Keeps the objects in the scene, but removes any links between them and any animation keys.

New All (Default): Clears content of the current scene.
