Freeze Nonselected Curves makes all nonselected curves uneditable. Freeze Nonselected Curves is a selection modifier and has the following properties:
Selected curves display as solid lines with black squares at their vertices.
Nonselected curves display as dotted lines.
You can only select vertices from selected curves in the Edit window.
You select other curves by clicking their icons in the Hierarchy list.
Procedure
To freeze nonselected curves:
Animate two objects.
On the Track View toolbar, click Function Curves.
In the Hierarchy list, hold CTRL and select the Position tracks of both objects.
Freeze Nonselected Curves is on by default causing the selection of both the track label and container (green triangle). Function curves and keys for both objects are displayed.
On the Track View toolbar, turn off Freeze Nonselected Curves.
In the Hierarchy list, hold CTRL and click the Position track container (green triangle) of one of the objects.
Keys for the track are hidden.
On the Track View toolbar, click Freeze Nonselected Curves.
The non selected curve freezes.
