More e-mail cleaning
Tip George Campbell's macro to reformat e-mail is great (Clean up e-mail text in Word, November 97, p174). But, as written, it does not produce a blank line between paragraphs. To fix this, in Step 3 replace the ~~ with ^p^p and all is well. I just read the tip in November PC World about cleaning up e-mail text in Word by using Find and Replace. Another easier way to do this is to use Word's AutoFormat feature. If you AutoFormat the text into the General document style, it fixes up all your paragraphing, even converting highlighted words to italics. - Brian Wade and Ian Bowley | Category: Word processing Issue: Feb 1998 Pages: 150 |
