Can't shift nonblank cells in Excel
In Excel, I receive the error message "Cannot shift nonblank cells off sheet" when trying to insert a cell, row or column. This message indicates that a cell or range of cells would be pushed off the worksheet as a result of the insertion. This problem can be solved by selecting the rightmost range of cells using the <Ctrl>-<Right arrow> and selecting Edit--Clear--All. | Category: Digital Helpline, Spreadsheet Issue: Nov 1996 Pages: 184 |
