Tip Windows To get the shortcut for the windows menu (move, minimise/maximise windows)Press <Alt>-spacebar Windows 95 To minimise all windows: 1. Shift focus to task-bar (Start button), by pressing <Ctrl>-<Esc>, <Esc>. 2. Press <Alt>-M. Windows Explorer To force copy / move file(s) using drag and drop and keyboard: Press <Shift> and drag the file(s) to force moving. Press <Ctrl> and drag the file(s) to force copying. PowerPoint To copy and move object(s) at the same time: 1 Select the object(s). 2 Hold down <Ctrl> and drag the object(s). 3 Holding down <Shift> alone while dragging the object(s) will move them straight along a vertical or horizontal axis. 4 Holding down <Ctrl>-<Shift> and dragging the object(s) will copy and move them straight along a vertical or horizontal axis. Setting an object's default setting 1 Select the object. 2 Change the object setting (the setting that will be used as default). 3 Choose Format--Pick Up object style. 4 De-select the object. 5 Choose Format--Apply to Object defaults. Hinote VP Use the touchpad to select and move windows: 1 Tap on the touchpad once to select window. 2 Tap one more time, and immediately drag the window.
