Tricky stickies

This trick is only for the brave or reasonably experienced. When you print a note from the Stickies application, it appends a footer to the bottom of the note saying something like "Stickies (for Matthew JC. Powell)" and the date. There's no need to settle for such pedestrian labelling, though. If you're clever, you can use Stickies to create your own personalised stationery.

First, make a duplicate of your Stickies application (it's in the Apple Menu Items folder), and name this "Stickies personalised". Then, using a resource editor like Apple's free ResEdit or Mathemaesthetics' Resorcerer (www.mathemaesthetics.com), open the duplicate (never work on the original using a resource editor!). Double-click on STR# in the resources window, then find ID 134. Opening that resource gives you three text fields you can edit to create your own unique customised Stickies footers.
