Long names

With the release of Windows 95, Intel boxes could understand long file names ù in fact, even longer names than the MacÆs 31 characters. Unfortunately, most of the servers in these mixed environments use Novell NetWare, which doesnÆt handle the MacÆs long filenames very well at all. If you find files are going missing or becoming garbled on your network, try using the DOS eight-letter filename convention with three-letter extensions.
