Tip If your user manual's propeller-headed prose ever gets the better of you, turn to your secret weapon: Windows' built-in glossary. Open Program Manager or File Manager, choose Help--Contents, then click the Glossary button for an alphabetised list of nerdy terms from "active" to "wrap". In no time you can unlock the basic meanings of expanded memory, interrupt request lines, pels and domains. So put aside your device contentions, take a little time slice, and maximise your input/output activity with this handy help file. - Scott Dunn | Category: Windows 3.x Issue: Jun 1997 Pages: 159 |
