Save Your Screen and Blow Your Mind

A good screen saver can deter accidental intrusions into your private computing world and provide great entertainment as well. In fact, some screen savers-such as Geiss, the brainchild of Ryan M. Geiss-even qualify as works of art. As if the engrossing, fluid graphics were not enough, Geiss can respond to music from audio CDs and other sound sources. The program comes both as a screen saver and as a plug-in for the freeware MP3 player WinAmp. It's available free on our cover CD or from the creator's home page at www.geisswerks.com.
